I personally find it really fascinating Ivory is mistaken as "Ivy" and she has to redirect people away from that. Aside from being an interesting way to introduce a character, there's symbolism potential here. Take it with a grain of salt because obviously, it's a Jonathan Sims situation, it's the creator's name. However. Ivy is a plant, a living organism, and that automatically means a lot more considering this is The Plant Themed Horror Minecraft. Ivory, meanwhile, is . . . dead. It's dead biotic material from an animal. It's prized for its rarity, making it a symbol of wealth if you possess it. Interesting for a servant
Ivy on the other hand is common and well known, fairly easy to obtain. This basically just says that Ivory is far more than meets the eye to the other serving staff
(it's also the name for all those super fancy colleges. You know the ones. Minutes later Clownpierce is informed that Ivory might be "stunted"—she is not an ivy.)
Also I just think it's funny that the head butler assumes she has a plant name because he's so used to the Hemlockes lol
Speaking of hemlock I'm sure this has already been noticed but symptoms of hemlock poisoning include vomiting and restlessness. Pyro didn't seem unsettled by it at all, however. All he does is ask for coffee. A common "settle your stomach and wake up" remedy, but also really great at erasing scents. Wonder if they're being poisoned by someone else or doing it on purpose
White pines being a symbol of peace tho is insane because god it is not peaceful here
hemlock is the name of an evergreen tree as well, named after the poisonous plant. Notable other evergreens mentioned include ivy and white pines.
the symbolism of evergreens is kinda in the name but yeah, longevity and resilience are kinda the keystones here. a little ironic but hey
whitepine is amazing. have a whitepine ivory. please tumblr do not obliterate the image quality i worked so hard on this i like never do paintings. or backgrounds. goes to show how much whitepine has altered my brain chemistry i am going to be thinking about this show forever and ever and ever

Hello my millions of followers on Tumblr dot com waking this blog back up from the brink of death to tell you I have changed. In the past, I was on record as saying that WHITEPINE just wasn’t really my thing, that Winsweep wasn’t particularly good at the RP part of MCRP, and that Kenadian didn’t seem too interesting and Wifies surely couldn’t have that much lore. But I am remade I had a very good idea. I used F5. See, using F5 gave me a whole new perspective and i was able to see that WHITEPINE is legitimately brilliant. Kenadian is really funny, and the Wifies clone thing actually has serious potential.

Halfway through whitepine episode 6, and I'm almost begging for someone else to die. I love how ivory builds the tension and is crafting this beautiful story, but I'm not sure how much more of this my heart can take. I want this to become an action just so I can get away from the paranoia.
Also, this bit with the piano is freaking me out. I just know I'm missing something through all those cutting frames, and it has me on edge

In Whitepine episode 5, at 19:10 ish, did anyone else see the white haired guy from the gate house talking to himself? at first I thought he was just eating, but he sits there staring at an empty chair just talking to no one
I was trying to show off how pretty house from Whitepine to my parents, but they instead went "Oh, that's blahblahblah mansion" and went on a rant about a similar mansion where a bunch of teenage boys were kept hostage and tortured. I really didn't want to know that but okay, thanks mom.

Discussing the Whitepine Thumbnail change: Is Ivory in Pyro's room. It doesn't look too much like it, but I can't think of anywhere else with that wallpaper.
Also, it almost looks like a halo as she looks up at the only light source in a dark room
I want to draw Ivory from Whitepine in an old-timey dress so badly. Not because it's historically accurate or important to the story, but because I think their pretty and Ivory deserve the world
