friendly reminder that it is highly likely that Ford would've sacrificed himself in a blaze of glory in his attempt to destroy Bill had the portal been shut down. like you really think he would've gotten out of destroying Bill alive, when he would still have Bill's friends to contend with? I don't think so. and that's if the explosion from the initial shot wouldn't do him in first. there's even the chance that he'd miss his shot and Bill would murder him right then and there too. just something to think about.

thinking again abt how ford does rly well with solitude and consuming himself with work as a distraction, so it's rly sweet to see him write how much seeing fiddleford just brought so much joy to his life just by existing with him.

a man who hasn't felt the presence of anyone else in years being overjoyed by being able to share the work he loves with someone he cares so much about gets to me okay.

Inktober Day 15: Legend

Common, what did you expect me to draw? Legend?? Of COURSE it would be Stanley Pines.( ^∀^) It didn’t turn out as grand as I had hoped, it doesn’t look nearly as cool as it did in the show.. But I’m happy with it. Its Stan! How can I not be happy with it?? (♡´౪`♡)

Okay I just gotta say, before I log off, I've been thinking about the fact that these "lost journal 3" pages exist in TBOB, and that Bill says they were ripped out by Ford. So we know that post-Weirdmageddon, Journal 3 was fully restored, including pages Ford ripped or burned out in the 80s (as well as any deterioration that happened since then), but the pages in TBOB still weren't in there.

What that means is that, post-Weirdmageddon, Ford must has ripped these pages out.

So I can imagine Dipper, super excited, running to Ford like "Grunkle Ford! Look! Your Journals! And they have so many new pages I've never seen before!" and then Ford going "haha that's so cool - WAIT," and then just grabbing the book and ripping out a bunch of pages, some with the embarrassing Polaroids, some with the darkest and scariest parts of his trauma, the way he fell for Bill and his lies, some of his personal memories with Fiddleford, etc. and then just handing it back to Dipper.

Ford:...... nothing.

It would explain why we, the readers, don't have access to those pages after he throws them in the Bottomless Pit at the end of J3.
