I just received a stylus for my IPad and I was thinking about yesterday’s RoD chapter and that scene where MC confesses she was the one to ruin Colt’s plan, so I figured I could try to draw our resident bad boy!
It is quite messy and far from perfect, and it was my first time using ProCreate, but I kind of like it!

I never expected to stan Ride-or-die, but here we are 🤷♀️ This was loosely inspired by @pixelburied ’s amazing fic Take a Chance on Me, and the song referenced in Part 3 (“Would I”, by Maggie Lindemann). I ended up using my own MCs name, though. I don’t own the pictures or the characters, this is just for entertainment purposes, not profit, etc.

Ugh, I can't wait for the next chapter, I want mooooooore of him! @lovehugsandcandy 's fic is amazing, it helped calm me down a bit, thanks for the rec! Also, feel free to tag me in anything colt related - although tumblr only sends me notifications whenever it feels like it (which is almost never).
After all the hype over the last chapter I finally caught up on ROD and now I... love... Colt? Send help! (Also, sorry in advance for ranting, but about that "a girl like you" sentence: I get that he only meant that Logan and MC were from different worlds etc. BUT so are Colt and MC, and given that my dumb MC is head over heels in love with Colt, it feels a lot like Colt himsef would never have looked twice at her if his father hadn't plotted to insert her in their crew, so she's hurt)

Srsly tho, Colt has definitely thought about that before - the whole different world thing. I bet the reason he mentions MC being his driver forever is because of his own parents. He knows this story. He’s lived it.
And now he’s watching it happen again but this time, he and MC are the main characters.
Can you imagine the angst once they finally get to that talk??

Today for Choices Appreciation Week I’m thanking PB for one of their most recent books, Desire & Decorum. Not only it’s a genre I always liked , but I love how sassy my MC is, I think the dialogue has been brilliantly crafted so far, and the writers have been very mindful of the fandom’s concerns. Above all, thank you PB for keeping creating new content and new books for us, we know it takes a lot of hard work.

The Royal Romance became one of my favorite books because of Maxwell. He’s sweet, loyal and unconditionally supportive. He loves MC regardless of how well she does in court and he stood with her every step of the way.
He’s adorable and I just love him so much, gah 😍
