Hello choices fandom!
I am not veryyyyy new to this fandom, but I have been lurking in the shadows, I don’t post art or fics, but I like reading and looking at them! I just wanted to introduce my self to anyone that would look in this fandom. I really think this a great community and hope to chip my part in as well.

i am so, so glad you guys are loving my trans lesbian daughter aisha bhatt as much as i do! it was really important to me to be able to write a love interest who was both trans and gay, and it was also really important to me to have a flashback moment where we meet her at the very beginning of her transition. so many trans people, including myself, have the experience of desperately wanting to transition but feeling like it’s pointless to even think about it because they’ll never “pass,” let alone be considered beautiful, as their true gender. like, so much of your self-worth is wrapped up in whether or not you look like a cis person! and it shouldn’t be like that!!
so, with the college flashback scene, where we meet aisha for the first time on her first night on the town presenting as a woman, i was very specific in my notes to pixelberry’s art team: like, this is essentially Day One for aisha, she still has pretty short hair, her makeup is gonna be modest because she doesn’t have a ton of experience applying it yet, and she’s not exactly “passing” perfectly, but that doesn’t matter! fuck that! what matters is that she’s finally getting to be who she is and she’s radiantly happy about it and her friends are behind her 110%! and she’s taken her first step on this road and she’s gonna continue on that road and we will meet her again in adulthood as an exquisite butch in a leather jacket and a cool pixie cut.

I think you nailed it on the head. It certainly had issues, like the stuff with your religion choice and the lazy re-use of MC faces and the now regular forced male LI, but I agree everyone was certainly ready to jump on that bandwagon for multiple reasons.
Unpopular opinion: despite it's more serious issues, I actually enjoyed home for the holidays. I just took it for what it was worth. Plus I really liked Holly. She is gorgeous and I did not find her boring at all.
I’m neutral on this one, I’m not sure if it was actually a terrible book or we all just collectively agreed and followed along with what the majority said because if you disagree with everyone, well…

Yeah, exactly my thought too. And they are laying on those red herrings too heavily.
So. Beckett took wards from a mirror to have a place for training with his advanced magic. That’s why Atlas saw his bracelet. Because Beckett left the mirror without wards MC fell into it and got into the mirror realm. That’s why he was so distraught after MC disappearance, it was his fault. And that’s why he’s so nice now or at least tries to be.
And other friends suspicious behavior just a red herring and they’re probably planning some party to cheer MC up or something like that.
At least that what I think now, I haven’t finished chapter yet.

I could not agree more. This story plot setup may have worked well for the other LIs but yeah, not with Kaitlyn. Like others have reiterated, This does not only effect Kaitlyn as her character says herself. She is not completely in the wrong here.
So it also puts her in a unique position. No, she did not discuss this with MC before agreeing with it. And no, belittling MC's writing was not a smart response. However, I am not sure how I will feel if she shows up and apologises for being completely in the wrong. Because again, she is not.
MC was not dead set on actually going to London anyway. She could still write in New York. They could do long distance. They could have brainstormed something! But no.
I will retain hope the writers still have this.. I have theories of what will happen.. but I am a little nervous all the same.
What I hate most about the breakup in The Senior, at least in regards to Kaitlyn, isn’t so much that it happened. I figured the Journal and the Parents was setting this up before a big come back to together moment later. No. What bothers me is why it happens. This MC is supposed to be a writer, a potential fiction writer if you decided to do that, and here she is just so unimaginative that she can’t possibly think of any other way this is solved other than breaking up with Kaitlyn?
Oh, and selfish too? Because Kaitlyn is right. This decision is no longer just theirs anymore. It wasn’t Kaitlyn signed in NYC, it was the band. Now Anissa, Rachel, and Amara are involved. And it’s an actual gig. Even if Kaitlyn sided with MC, the vote would be 3-2. How can the MC feel she has the right to choose for four other people.
Like, MC, you can write anywhere. But I’ve seen you when you “lose” Kaitlyn, twice, you aren’t happy.
They were really quick on making Jomes Acorn and other references so I believe they do big time.
Do you think Pb has favorite tumblr blogs? Like the writers and artists have to have tumblr and they probably stalk us don’t ya think? Like do you think on their lunch breaks they talk to each other about what’s going on? Like “hey did you see what kennadavenportgayle posted yesterday” “yeah I hate that girl” like??? Do you think they have conversations like this??? I really just have a lot of questions Pb spill the tea we wanna know if you like us (or I guess I wanna know lmao)

don’t worry about missing some quick time events just because you misunderstood (or didn’t comprehend at all) a word, really, you’re managing to understand 99% so you’re a star!!!
just so we remember that even though we can miss some references sometimes, we should neither forget nor be afraid of being an active part of the fandom

Well said. I have just been way more busy lately, but yeah, it is discouraging when I do manage to write something it only gets like a third of the notes now. I am so extremely appreciative of those people, even one note is amazing really, but it really makes you start to wonder if people are losing interest in your work. Or just do not like it.
I think you’re right, some of the content creators I knew almost dont post anything anymore. Those who do get less traffic unless they’re style is really good, on hype or if they’re content includes Kamilah (since she’s really popular). All I see in my dash are shitposts whether funny, edgy etc. and they’re the ones who gets most traffic. I still like those but its like 70% shitposts and 20% fanfics, 10% edits, fanarts, aesthetics etc. I just miss seeing more creative content in my dash.
This is very true. People stopped creating original content and started making more shitposts than ever, but that’s probably because of notes. Someone that doesn’t like a certain character, won’t like or rb a post, while a shitpost speaks to everyone. It’s sad to see so many great writers/editors/artists stop posting their stuff, bc of some notes. They seem to think that their stuff is unimportant, even though that’s what a fandom is about. When they get like 60 notes, while a not very funny post gets 1k in one night, its not very surprising that they feel discouraged.
Anon, I have written a number of them and a couple Kaitlyn fics are in the works right now. We are out there!

Getting real tired of this trigger happy fandom
Okay, I’ve seen a huge angry response to that one line from this week’s TJ chapter. It goes as follows:
“If fanfiction is Beau’s outlet, I’m not sure I want to know what issues he’s working through.”
I laughed at this line, because it was CLEARLY a jab at the CONTENTS of Beau’s writing, NOT ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE WAS WRITING.
Unfortunately, it seems that everyone in this fandom missed the point, and the writers for PB are being attacked.
I’m going to address a few issues here.
1) “Why doesn’t PB ever promote fanfiction?!??”
They can’t. Promoting non-canon events causes fans to wonder what counts as legitimate and what doesn’t. It also brings up legal issues like copyright and fair use. Please stop badgering the writers about this.
2) WHY WOULD THEY SAY SOMETHING SO MEAN?!
Let’s dissect the statement:
“IF fanfiction is Beau’s OUTLET, then I don’t want to know what kind of ISSUES he’s working through.”
This statement clearly refers to the way Beau uses fanfiction, not just fanfiction as a whole. He clearly has deep-seated psychological problems that cause him to write strange and violent scenarios. THIS STATEMENT WAS NOT THROWING SHADE AT FANFICTION AUTHORS.
3) “PB writers hate us because we’re COMPETITION!!1!”
Ah, yes, I’m sure that the PB workers being paid to write for you are intimidated by your 38-part Drake Walker smut fanfiction. Get real, guys. Why would the PB authors see us as “competition?” I’ve had a fanfiction written about a novella I published, and I just felt flattered.
In conclusion: STOP acting as though everything PB does is a personal attack on you, guys.
Or did it technically declare all fanfics as canon? 🤔
pb opened up a wormhole for fanfic writers with all of these alternate timelines, new ships alternate stories varying outcomes like holy shit this site is going to write so hard that word processors everywhere will stage unpaid overtime protests
While some many questions were answered and not, I think I can help with at least one. The key with Quinn's zodiac on it was likely left by the endless to aid them on their quest much like Raj's frying pan and the mark on the wall for Estella. Our group just did not find it in this timeline.
ES Finale
Ooof, I don’t even know where to start…
I knew that trusting Rourke was an idiotic idea, but I tried it out of curiosity… Quinn is still dying, Sean isn’t happy (from what I can tell), Michelle is dealing with those fake friends again, Zahra’s our “roomie” but as cold as an iceberg, Estela was hella rude, didn’t see much of Craig, Raj, Grace, and Aleister. Lila’s alive, and a Rourke groupie again. And we don’t even get to see Jake and Mike… The only plus was starting a new friendship with Diego. #AllHailEmperorRourke
Staying on the island was also not great. Yeah, we get to stay with everyone on the island, live with our sexy husband/wife, but everyone seems like they weren’t really happy. The last thing they did was toast to their lost family members… Also upset that after getting married we don’t get to see a new house or whatever. I was looking forward to building a home on La Huerta.
The fact that we never got to see everyone reunite with their families pisses me off so much… Like I didn’t sacrifice myself to not see everyone’s future. I wanted the heart-wrenching reunion scenes! Jake seeing his mom and sister for the first time in years, Estela going back to her uncle, Sean seeing his mom again, and Quinn getting her parents back together. But, nope. (in my opinion) This was the best out of the 3. I knew I was gonna choose this anyway, because to me it just made the most sense. The voice message MC left was really sweet though i most definitely cried, and they all got together 5 years later on the island it looks like and toasted to MC. We didn’t really get as much of reaction (especially from our LI’s) as I’d hoped… But it was still worth it.
Somethings I still don’t get though:
Who was Diego crushing on in book one?
What was the point of the pirates and Kele?
Is Jake’s name cleared in the 3rd option? Does he not see his family again?
Why did I buy the bikini in the 3rd book if it doesn’t even replace that ugly purple one?
What was the deal with the Dolphin Key in the diamond scene? What does it do?
What was the deal with the robot spider on the boat?
What was the point in showing Taari disappearing at the end of book 2? They didn’t even mention it.
What was the point of the mezzberries (or whatever they’re called)?
Were they all just on a random beach in the 3rd option? If it was La Huerta, how is it still existing without Vaanu?
Estela and Zahra, Michelle and Jeanine, Lila and Aleister… Why?
What happened to Varyyn in the 1st option? Does Diego find out he’s still alive?? Or even remember him???
Well, I guess thats it. It’s done now. Over. Gone. Finito.
I feel like the whole finale was kind of… Lackluster? Idk, I just expected something more… A 4th option or some sort of surprise after the stats. A secret ending… Huh, I guess it’s really over…

This was requested by absolutely no one, i just wanted to write it for me, and that is why i started writing to start with, for me and my silly ideas. I had a lot of fun with it, and i hope you enjoy it too. (Also not been proof-read, sorry.)
“So, you want me to play some video game with you?” Becca said, slightly surprised at the suggestion, she was sure she never shown any indication at being into any such thing before.
“Yeah! Why not, isn’t that what couples do? Take an interest in each other’s hobbies and interests?” Alison was excited at the idea, she was really interested in seeing how Becca would react, whether she would enjoy it. Becca was always full of surprises, she had managed to get into watching The Crown and The Flame with Alison, something previously conceived to be far to nerdy for Becca to endure never mind enjoy.
“Don’t you think playing video games is a little childish, oh wait look who I’m talking to!” Becca mocked, Alison smiled in return, she did rather enjoy the teasing back and forth that they had, it was one of the reasons why they worked. Becca’s smile quickly faded and her face fell, her eyes following, dropping to the floor as she questioned herself. “Won’t I be absolutely useless? I wouldn’t want you to get fed up with me.”
“i’m really not that competitive, besides you’ve shown yourself to be very adaptable.”
Becca rolled her eyes, and blew out a sharp exhale almost in defeat, she did make a very good argument. And how could she say no to that half smile Alison always pulled when she knew she came out on top with an indefensible argument.

I just realized that a shower scene with Kaitlyn could be... interesting.
If all the sexy diamond scenes in The Junior don’t take place in different locations of the apartment (the shower for one) I’m going to be very disappointed..
Sorry for the long post! (And low quality pics? Why tumblr?)
Easy answer for number one. The freshman, book two, chapter one is one of a my absolute favourites. It has specifically two scenes with Kaitlyn and Emily that I have always enjoyed. The first being Kaitlyn meeting the mom and their walk back to the dorm and the diamond scene at the winter festival.
What I love about them are that they are simple innocent moments in their relationship. Not a care in the world. They are just enjoying their time with each other. From kaitlyn running up and twirling Emily in the air to their silly snowball fight and kissing in the snow.
They are the moments that we do not get to see anymore. They still happen of course, but we have come to to a point in the narrative where it is simply commonplace and therefore unnecessary to keep mentioning. If anything it would become stale and too repetitive to the reader.
Anyway, the scenes are a little bit of fluff that you can go read in the first chaoter that personally warms my heart and influences my fanfics of the two. They are a raw look into how the two act.

Yo, I would ship her with the girl standing at the table with that guy in the background picture of the music venue. Pink hair I believe? Tattoos? Looks like she is in the middle of attempting to explain what is going on in ES? Well unbeknownst to most, she is actually a total nerd with astronomy and pokemon tattoos who is very shy and loves to laugh and cuddle who just so happens to have a major crush on one Kaitlyn Liao. It’s true, ask PB.

I just do not see how it would be possible at all. The storytelling is too dependent on the LI's problems. They would have to kill off every LI because otherwise they would have to write five seperate parts to avoid huge weird gaps. And you know that will never happen.
Okay like I know none of the LIs are dead in TF/TS cuz like that’s so cruel but at the same time I can totally see PB being THAT extra and that petty like “oh y’all don’t like TF/TS? Fine then what if we KILL OFF YOUR LI!!!”
Meanwhile at the PB emergency meeting...
"WHO LEAKED THIS INFORMATION? WE WERE GOING TO CHARGE FOR THAT!"
Crack theory time.
The Endless Summer crew managed to save the World, but unbeknownst to them they ended up back in time.
So they hop onto a plane and start flying back home. But because Jake is flying they crash and die horribly.
The only thing to survive the crash unscathed is Jake’s jacket (because it got “accidentally” thrown from the plane). The jacket is blown away by the wind until it is found by a Berry High student
And that is how Micheal Harison got his signature look….
