but the baron is, ignoring the weird doll situation, a very grounded- very real fear; that so many people can relate to

it is growing apart from friends, its loosing family members, its moving away from home, its that feeling that you'll never find a partner, its aspec insecurity, and its so human

the xmen are so special to me and this is why. i am queer, i am cradle catholic, i am named after an xmen.

when i was born im sure my father never imagined that these stories and characters that are my namesake would reflect my experiences- but they do and that makes it all the more special

queer themes in x-men my beloved. Angel binding his wings. Bobby’s parents asking if he’s tried just not being a mutant. Nightcrawler and catholic guilt. The existence of cherik. Everything with Scott/Jean/Logan. Mystique and Destiny.
