I think there's something beautifully poetic about this new trend of Greek-myth themed musicals.

The Lightning Thief musical, Hadestown, Stray Gods, Epic---all of these stories are being told at least in part through song, echoing the fact that every single myth that we know was originally told through song. We're essentially reprising the tradition thousands of years down the line, and that's honestly beautiful.

thinking about this again! i know that it was up to the dice rolls as to who got possessed by baron; buuuuuut... ive always been an adaine-riz bestie truther, it just makes so much sense to me (nerds, big pressure to do well in school, av club, mystery lovers, i also headcanon adaine as ace so that's something they can bond on as well), and we know that riz calls fabian his best friend with that in mind, i see the baron as taking control of riz's two closest friends and i find that devastating. especially coupled with the fact that we know riz has anxiety about being left behind by his friends, and now his two best friends are saying these terrible things.
