I redid the environment for "Fis Cafe" as my last semester's personal project!
I haven’t updated in ages, I’m so sorry! if anyone is still there, here’s a paintover I did this week for uni (my coursemate Dave designed the base model, I’m now working on colour palettes). This is the protag of the game we’re making. Will be posting a backlog of stuff over the next few weeks!

life drawing! trying a little in the top one to move away from realism into exaggerated forms, and it’s proving tricky haha (the top one was started in pencil but the bottom two were straight into pen)
So I want to get some good practice 3D modelling, and figured I’d use those sjw character concepts I did a couple of years ago. except of course, having done them a couple of years ago, I’m not happy with their designs. Not pictured are some silhouette thumbnails done to get the basic character, on the left is the general details of the sjw, and on the right is a simplified re-exaggeration of the same so I can be happier with the actual silhouette
So I did this small logo job last week, they only want it for the purposes of round stickers. They wanted f-holes, but I preferred without for the clarity of the S... Apparently they want it to be shiny, so I'm wondering if they'll UV layer it or something. If you don't recognise it, the blue design is based on the "scroll" of a bowed instrument.
finecallmejane I honestly thought these were photos at first!
aha no only the second is but thanks, im flattered x
I never draw detail, so I thought I’d practice… I think this went as well as throwing one in the deep end can go

an attempt at cardboard-cut-out-ing @littlesmartart‘s designs to place them in the 3D environment
I think I like rendering settings in unity better than in Maya… Maya is so complicated!! feat. logo by the lovely @lilyscowendesign #autodeskmaya #unity3d #fiscafe #gamedev (at Loughborough University)

So @little-smartass and I, plus a few friends, are making a small game. We’d like you to try this first pass at the dialogue part of it!
The dialogue demo in twinery format can be downloaded from the links at the top of this page of the survey for it. If you’re feeling nice, please also take a minute to complete the survey there, too!
It’s kinda frustrating bc recently there’s been so much spam re: downloading games which might put people off, but I’m not a spambot and I’ll happily talk to you to satiate any fears!
morning reblog with a properly working file
