wip, something I've been drawing on and off since hearing "Jenny" by the Studio Killers. Also inspired by wish-stick's "self control, what a joke".
idk the song made me feel pretty gay. *shrugs*

Juri is super cute
(I dont think she knows I drew her!?! but whatever)
WIP, Sinners&SaintsAlike fanart
Basic colours are done, so now I can progress to the characters
PS guess what my new favourite brush is
Fan art of the character Wrathia Bellarmina from the webcomic "Ava's demon" which if you are not reading, you are sorely missing out. Tablet sketch no 2!
So I just got myself a nexus 7 so that I can draw digitally on-the-go, and boy is it hard to get used to. I got a few apps and so far autodesk sketchbook pro seems to be the best! Anyway, here are some trees referenced from the gorgeous magazine Outdoor Photography (=
cafe concept for a possible extra-curricular project Jess and I were thinking of doing
Basic plan of the s7sa coffee shop! Still not finished, mind you.
The awkward wall between the middle and left third is because the left third was the original coffee shop; the old man who ran it in the 60s had been saving up two buy the other two to expand the shop and bought them only a month before he died; wanting to continue with the plan, his nephew began to work on knocking down the walls, only to find that the majority of the original wall had to be kept for structural reasons. More of a businessman than a shop owner, he decided to use this to his advantage; the two new sections became a jazz cafe adjoined to the old shop.
Patience knew the coffee shop before it became a jazz cafe, but started a little while it was taken over by the nephew. She started off as a waitress but spends most of her time behind the counter nowadays.
coffee shop plan wip for s7sa; tempted to tell you the history of the buildings themselves but I must resist 'til I finish. The colour you see in the corner is this, a drawing I did previous of the first (left) 3rd of the cafe, for reference.
fairy-thing design for trm... I did a drawing back in yr10 of what they would look like but goodness knows whether that drawing still exists
I still can't decide whether the feet will be reptilian, hoofed or rodent-like
the forearms/hands are going to be... manly? a bit like Goon's, I guess.
tried a different method with this one; each colour is a solid layer of colour defined by a mask
sketchbook work from the zombies project with Jess
So I worked some more on the sketch I did for the Solids dragon
She's a diversion from my usual dragons, but turned out really well!?!
I think I talked about the piezoelectric quartz nails the previous time
animation I made a couple of years ago, refined last year. Might work on it again sometime.
more library sketch... and yes it has a piano. It's an imaginary library, ok?
I drew something that isn't straight! 0.o
sketches for a class brief, we were paired with people in class and told to do something based on them, and my person likes books but not technology and likes playing piano so tree libraries and book pianos.
to explain the quartz nails: Piezoelectricity. Do you know how quartz watches work? When given an electric current, quartz vibrates at a specific rate, and the watch measures it. It works the opposite way, too; if you hit quartz, it gives a little electricity. My brother was explaining this to me the other day, so I decided to incorporate it into my "solids" dragon; every hundred years, she comes to a certain town, and "recharges" their clock. idk man dragons and piezoelectricity are cool.
