Just thinking about “The Incident” that just happened on Hermitcraft and I realized something. If a war does start from this, this would be the first time Scar and Grian have been on the same side during a war in all of Hermitcraft (if I recall correctly). And it’s all because they jointly messed up.
I mean, Doc is going to completely destroy them, but they’re still on the same side.
Every so often I almost forget that Cleo is the absolute best ever, but then something like this happens:
All the armor stand parkgoers in Scarland are adorable, but Scar saw this family and literally almost cried. And so did I. Cleo's storytelling in Minecraft is just unbeatable. Every little one of these wooden people has a real heart inside.
Inspired by @years-of-minecraft's fanart of @cherrifire! Lots of love to you both! (Click for better resolution)
They sillied a little too much
Are you gonna have to rewrite your lore now that docm is gonna kill Grian and scar irl
Nah that's easy to work with. Scar's left floating in the void and The Watchers were only able to paralyze Grian in LiL but before the next deathmatch they finally figure out how to block him out entirely, simple LOL
(I don't fully know what the Scar/Grian/Doc situation is about. I've seen random tweets on my timeline and something to do with redstone. Care to enlighten me?)
I don’t think They can get away with this
In-lore, how do you account for the creators' other series, such as Hermitcraft and 100 Hours? Do those happen in between death games, and at any point they could be ripped out of their normal lives and forced to murder their friends for eldritch beings' entertainment? Are they plain not canon to the eyesandears lore?
I saw a clip of Scar freaking out about a skulk sensor and reminding himself this is Hermitcraft, everyone here's nice, it's not gonna blow up and couldn't stop wondering.
If memory serves correctly, we decided on the Last Life post season stream that other SMPs are dreams the players are having between seasons of the death games
It's not a detail we've totally locked in yet, so it's still a bit loosey goosey until we decide some hard cannon
Currently I like to think of it as dream states between the games. Yes, some of the players share the same dream space like Empires / Hermitcraft but that's just an allowance made by the Watchers through their soul linking powers.
There's literal soul linking demonstrated in Double Life with the health system but their power is vast and comes with variations. I wouldn't say it's any kind of 'plane walking' ability (which I've seen a lot of people theorizing on based on Gem's lore and how she might've entered the Life series), currently I feel like it's more mental manipulation / alteration as opposed to travelling.
So for now it's a little vague until we decide something concrete or the narrative would benefit from a clearer definition being made. But I always like to be honest about these details so people know not everything is committed to ink just yet
And to the victor go the spoils
Never have I been more grateful for Philza’s borderline paranoid cautionary tendencies built from being a hardcore player. I was so worried for Chayanne but the man built him a a reinforced bunker with no entrances
So to summarize,
-Mariana actually feeling really sad after killing Juanaflippa
-Quackity genuinely upset that Tilin died and Charlie feeling guilty for killing her.
-Missa panic tweeted that Quackity might hurt Chayanne while hes across the world in fucking Japan
- Philza equating Chayanne and Talluahs death to losing his 5 year hardcore world and saying if they made the deaths canon, he would have logged off and not come back on for a few days.
-Jaiden saying that seeing Bobby die was the worst feeling she has ever felt. Then crying/tearing up after seeing Bobby alive and well.
-Roier stopped singing when he saw that Jaiden was bleeding out too and couldn’t revive Bobby. Then went dead fucking quiet for a few minutes, which I think is unheard of, after Bobby died.
Not to mention, the countless times every CC on QSMP saying that they cant stop thinking of their egg and/or losing sleep over it.
Everyone, CCs and the audience, is so fucking attached to these eggs. They are gonna ruin us when they leave

After abuelo has gone upstairs, Tallulah sits in bed and runs her fingers over hew new flute.
Abuelo has made their new room cozy. The walls are strong and safe, made of purple stone and reinforced. The lights are calm and welcoming, and Chayanne and her share a room now. They’d shared before, but this is different. This is permanent, according to abuelo. At least until her papa comes back.
Across the room, she can make out Chayanne in the dimness. They’re supposed to be asleep, and abuelo had left them a nightlight because he figured the dark would scare them. He’d been right. He’s smart like that, abuelo is. The quiet type of smart, hiding it underneath a loud laugh and chaotic nature. She can hear him upstairs now- he should be sleeping too, she thinks, but instead he’s rattling around in the chests above them. It’s comforting. She can hear the steady whirring of a grindstone and metal being sharpened to a point, and it makes her feel safe.
Not safe enough, though. She shifts, and across the room, so does Chayanne.

this sunday i’m going to be doing a stream all about the pandemic, lockdown and it’s negative affects on people and how it’s still affecting people still today!
i’m gonna also use the stream itself as a tool to convert into a youtube video so there can be more accurate representations of the pandemic and it’s affects rather than the current ones that are out there
delighted by the discovery of the concept of "doomed by the narrative but your friends are punching the narrative in the face and you're fine now"
Painful as it was in the beginning, it only feels glorious now
going off of Martyn’s lore, I am SO GLAD he won the way he did, it’s such a cool ending and also set up
each player doesn’t remember past lives/seasons when they start but sometimes can recall memories of past life seasons throughout the game, especially if they’re a past winner, this rule doesn’t apply to Grian who remembers everything (watcher sees all lmao).
when Grian started 3rd life he was a player, like Martyn stated, taken from HC as someone who had rejected the watchers. He’s not one of them, he has a corporeal form and he flat out defies and refuses them, though his past experiences with the game have led him to resort to chaos (he knows where everyone goes when they die, which I hc as either back to hermitcraft or empires, so his goal is just to kill as many people as possible anyways). Throughout the series’ he’s gained more and more power along with knowledge, at this point he could probably take a lot of control of the world they’re in but he knows the watchers would object and probably come down to face him.
Speaking of, the watchers hate Grian, they also hate Scott (for defying him in s2). It’s why they’re so adament about Martyn killing him (see also s2)
Scott and Pearl regain some memories of their previous wins, and realize that Grian is a watcher. Pearl’s not exactly a watcher but she is connected to them, she was a player back in Evo so she still has that connection. Scott still believes that if they win they could end the games and take down the watchers once and for all, but they’re hesitant to trust each other and Pearl is angry with him, saying they have no chance and that it’ll just end the way it did last time. They both know about Grian and are wary of his power, but Scott is more concerned about Martyn whom he suspects of having a watcher connection. He knows Martyn is important and doesn’t want him to succumb to their curse.
Eventually everyone just feeds off the watchers bloodthirst as usual, fighting for their lives. Scott fights to the end because he believes that he can face them a second time with Martyn, but in the very end he watches Martyn’s eyes go purple as he is fully possessed by the watchers and kills him.
Martyn doesn’t face the watchers at the end the same way that the other’s did. To escape the world you have to die, but Martyn ran out of time, and fell back into his home-world, the world of the listeners, and ?? I don’t even know what the soul fragment thing meant but it’s something
and to end it all. BigB is also a listener. Nobody knows, not even Martyn, but it’s part of why BigB played into the secret soulmate thing with Grian in s3, to get closer to him. there’s some mystery surrounding him. we don’t even know what he’ll do.
The fact that Luz gets her mandatory Big Protagonist Power-up from shaking hands with a demon-looking creature and that instead of the classic angelic/luminous power-up she gets the feral brand is so appropriate, it might be my favorite thing in the whole show.
It also feels like such a middle finger to all the satanic panic assholes, the witch makes a deal with the devil to beat the puritan's ass LMAO.
there's something about eda going from despising school to running a school that hits deep. something about rebuilding instead of destroying. something about turning anger into positive change. something about recognizing that you have the power to be better than those who hurt you. you get what i'm saying
“And Luz, thank you, for being in my life.”
-
“Luz, I’m so happy I had you as a big sister.”
-
“Looks like we’re gonna be split up again. I feel like I should be used to this feeling by now, but... I still don’t know what to say.”
“Oh. I know what I should have said. I should have thanked them.”
“Eda, King. Thank you, for everything.”
The fact that all three of them had to say goodbye to each other at the end of their respective seasons, resigned to their fate as they thanked them. But it's Luz who breaks the tragic pattern of pain, in this case not being able to say thanks as a goodbye... Only to be able to say it as an affirmation of their bond when they are reunited! Likewise...
-
"But we're a family! Us weirdoes have to stick together, remember?"
"You have a family already. Go back to them."
-
"We gotta stick together. We gotta stick together!"
"I'm sorry, not this time."
-
"Weirdoes?"
"Weirdoes."
At the end of each season, Luz repeated "Us weirdoes have to stick together" only for a grieving Eda and King to refuse it. But the last time Luz says it, they finally get to return and affirm the bond they taught her.

I’d like to study wild magic,

I’d like to attend Hexside as a regular student,
