Fair warning, this one's kind of a long one.

Recently my local Walmart put the condoms and sex toys behind a glass case and to access them you need to press the button to call someone over and open the case.

I hate that they did this. It stigmatizes safe sex because no longer is it something that can be done discretely and privately, now if you want to by condoms you have to bring a whole other human being into the process. Some people would rather die than pick out a box of condoms or a sex toy in front of a random stranger.

This is especially bad for minors. Imagine you're a 16 year old who's gonna lose their virginity that night. You're not stupid so you got to your local Wally world to purchase a box of rubbers. You can even use the self checkout! Simple, easy, no one has to see you do it and you don't have to face any judgment. Only to get there and realize in horror that you have to ask someone to open the box so you can get the condoms, and you're to nervous to do it.

Even though there are probably no consequences, still, having to ask an adult, and authority figure, for permission to do something that you know is a major social faux pas is a terrifying thought for a minor. Hell, I'm an adult and even I'd have a hard time doing that.

You see how this is bad? It makes people afraid to make smart decisions and be safe because they might face judgment for it. Making condoms harder to access is not going to make teenagers have less sex, it's going to make them have more unsafe sex.

Same with sex toys. Having a little fun in the bedroom should not be something you need anybody else's approval to do.

Having safe sex should not be stigmatized.

Having good sex should not be stigmatized.

If I were to make a list of things I feel it's ok to steel, condoms would be number three. Right under food and medicine.

Anyway, fuck Walmart for doing that. Condoms should be cheap, easy, and stress free to access for everyone.

even in the quietest places, there is always sound.

I love how nature looks. I love how life is always there, it is always there to comfort you. No matter how hard it is, no matter what malevolent forces surround you, there is always something out there, neither good nor bad, to help. Life can bring you down just as easily that death can lift you up.

I love life, I love everyone and everything that lives, and I wish everyone can love nature how it loves them. Nature isn't against anyone, it's just the way of life. If anyone going through something does happen to see this, I wish you the best, and I am going to tell you to go for a walk. It can be around your neighborhood, in a nature trail, just in some forest, whatever. Don't do it to distract yourself, no no no. I want you to observe. Look, listen, feel, smell, maybe taste (if it's safe). Find something good about life. Find a reason to stay here, find inspiration, find courage, just... don't leave everything behind. No matter how bad it gets, no matter what caused it, don't go. Survival is hard, and you have to persevere. I am not trying to be corny, I am not trying to say something you've probably heard a million times, I am saying that if you can't find a reason to stay where you are now, find a new place to look for good things. Even if you can't physically leave where you are for whatever reason, even then, watch the sky, watch the grass, watch the trees, there's always something.

It was 2D animation, probably early 00's/late 90's.

It was about fairies fighting some big machine that was destroying their home. Right as they defeated it, a big monster made of black goo erupted from the machine.

Anyone else kind of afraid of interacting online because of AI nowadays? Like as much as I want to socialize and interact with other people through the internet I'm also constantly aware that there is probably some company out there using my information to train AI. And that scares me, that there could be an AI that's online presence could be identical to my own. And that eventually feeds into the whole dead internet theory witch is again, terrifying. Is there a way to fight the dead internet theory?

I'm currently making a survival book, its going to inclue everything you need to run, how to cross borders (only if necessary), the safest states right now, the unsafest states, how to protect yourself in a red area, what places to stay at if your running, nearby jobs and other ways to get money, what foods are best to get, how to make certain foods, electronic related advice, the safest messaging apps, what not to say in messages, guide to doctors if you have a uterus or are a women, what plants are safe to eat, various poisons, how to deal with cops, a map of the local area and where cops hang out, how to survive in the woods, clothes you should bring, what to do about your period if your on the run, methods of birth control and what's the best, how to legally change your name and the amount of money it costs, how to a car if your in a non walkable area, first aid tips, how to get and use a burner phone, what type of weapons you might need and how to use them, a guide on how to use most commonplace guns, chargers to use for any devices you might bring.

All of it, I've got multiple notebooks to I'm spreading it across them.
