xavier was woken up by knocking at the door. ajax groaned and clamped his pillow over his head.
"go get the door, man," he moaned, burying his face under the blankets. xavier rolled his eyes and got up to see who was knocking at — he checked the clock — six in the morning.
"hi xavi!" his lover stood at the door, bundled in layers of warm coats. they held out a steaming cup of hot chocolate. "go put your coat on," they demanded, smiling. they peered over his shoulder and waved at ajax. "hi ajax." he groaned.
"why do i need my coat?" xavier asked. yn rolled their eyes.
"because, we're going to go outside and make snow angels, silly. didn't you get my text?" xavier remembered seeing a notification pop up on his phone about it snowing.
"right, yeah, sorry." he turned and gestured for them to wait outside. "im gonna get dressed," he smiled.
—————
xavier sipped at his hot chocolate as he watched his lover giggle with enid as the two made snow angels and tried to convince wednesday to join them.
he smiled. yn looked at him and scrambled to their feet. they pulled him up and dragged him, laughing, towards a patch of fresh snow. wednesday was telling enid something about how snow angels are meaningless fruits of a labor that would be washed away by another snowfall.
he rolled his eyes at his friends and joined his lover on the ground. they were already making a snow angel, moving their arms and legs back and forth.
"yn."
"yeah, xavi?" they glanced at him, a smile on their cold-reddened face.
"your snow angel is pretty."
"you're pretty," they replied.

Your best friend, Xavier had a weird newfound interest in the new girl, Wednesday Addams. It seemed like that was all he could talk about. Wednesday this, Wednesday that, a matter of fact you were really getting over it. Even during class or during lunch all he would do is look out for her, even if that meant ignoring you in the process.
You slipped away to your room for lunch after class not even bothering to walk with him to the quad. Whether you would admit it out loud or not you liked your best friend maybe a little more than you should. Though you couldn’t help it, now with his long hair that suited his face perfectly or the smirk he would put on when he was teasing. Maybe you were being hopeful when you thought he might out liked you back.
It sucks that the dance was so close too. You wanted him to ask you, but with Wednesday in the picture, you doubt he would. Which leaves you without a date for the dance. You had even talked to Ms. Thornhill about going off the theme a bit to go for more of a periwinkle dress instead of white which she was all in for.
Once you made it to your next class which was unfortunely botany class with Xavier, you made it a point to sit in a different seat than your usual spot next to him. The only other spot open was next to a boy that you remembered whose a werewolf named is Dylan. You made your way over to the spot next to him and set your stuff down while avoiding Xavier’s piercing stare at you.
The lesson was boring and basically filled with Bianca and Wednesday competing with each other. You had ten more minutes of the class before the bell would ring. Ms. Thornhill said since it was so close to the dance, she wouldn’t torture you guys with any more homework.
“Hey,” you heard from beside you. “Y/n, right?”
“Yeah, and yours is Dylan if my memory is correct,” you replied with a small laugh which caught Xavier’s attention.
“Something going on with you and your boyfriend? Who’s giving me quite the death stare this entire period?” he questioned as he noticed the other’s glare at him. “Who knows maybe I’ll be six feet under by the time this class ends,” he joked.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” you muttered feeling your cheeks flush with heat at the thought.
“Does he know that?”
“Yes, and I don’t think he would care, all he’s been talking about is Addams over there beside him,” you claimed.
“So he wouldn’t mind if I did this?” he stuck out his arm to your seat pulling you closer to him. You yelped as you didn’t expect him to be able to pull you and the chair with just one arm. “Wait, nope, I definitely think he does mind actually.”
You could tell that your cheeks were bright red right now without having to look in a mirror. Not only were you blushing at the fact Dylan thought Xavier was your boyfriend, but also about how close you were to Dylan right now. You were staring at your hands but looked up, and saw Xavier who was gripping his pencil so tightly that his knuckles were white and with a clenched jaw.
“What are you trying to do?” you asked him as you turned your gaze from Xavier to him.
“Trying to be a good matchmaker.”
“There’s nothing to match,” you scoffed.
“Y/n, you got yourself all wrong there. That boy is so jealous right now, it’s hilarious,” he corrected you.
“Dylan, there’s-” the bell ringing cut you off.
“I’m going to whisper into your ear and all you have to do is giggle okay,” all you did was nod confused as Dylan helped you stand up from your chair and leaned in close to your face but moved in the last second to whisper in your ear. “I hope you get dicked down after this by him,”
You started to choke on the air uncontrollably at the disbelief of his words as you felt heat rush into your cheeks again.
“Dylan! You did not just say that!” you gasped.
“I did, and he coming over this way right now,” Dylan started to rush to get his stuff. “I’m going to go before he punches me, good luck!” he wished you as he rushed out the door.
“What was that?” Xavier questioned harshly as he came closer to you.
“What-” you couldn’t even finish your sentence before he started pulling you into the hall and dragged you all the way into his dorm room. “Xavier, slow down.”
“So you have a new boyfriend and you don’t even tell me about it,” he snapped at you as he shut his door behind him.
“What are you even talking about?” you asked him placing your stuff down on his chair by his desk. That’s when you noticed his sketchbook was open, and it was a drawing of you. Though you didn’t feel like this was quite the right time to mention it, as you turned your attention back to the seething boy.
“You ignore me before lunch and then show up our next class to not even sit in your seat and sat next to wolf boy out of nowhere,” Xavier deadpanned. “That entire class period was filled with him being all over you.” It was now your turn to get angry at the boy as you were shocked at his hypocrisy.
“You’re joking right now, right?” you asked in pure disbelief.
“No, I am not. He was literally all over you and you just stayed there giggling at everything he said,” he scoffed.
“You know what, Xavier, I don’t even know why you care when all you’ve been talking about is Wednesday Addams,” you snapped back at him. “It always about her with you lately, sorry for not wanting to listen to you for one class period.”
“Y/n, don’t be like that,” he softened.
“No. You can’t dragged me to your room and antagonized me about something you don’t even know the full story too.”
“Why would I need a full story when I watched with my own eyes?” he pointed out.
“Dylan wasn’t doing anything!” you exclaimed.
“Really, so he wasn't flirting with you the entire time?” he commented.
“No!”
“Y/n, you really are more oblivious than I realized.”
“Xavier, you’re being ridiculous right now,” you stated. “All he was doing was literally pointing out the fact that you were so obviously jealous.”
“How could I not be?” he remarked. “All I could hear was you laughing with him, and don’t even get me started on how close you two were.”
“That was the point, Xavier,” you said exasperated as you head over to his bed and laid down on it feeling so over this argument with him.
“What?” he questioned confused.
“Dylan, thought we were dating and when I told him we aren’t, he was basically like then watch this,” you said muffled into his pillow.
“You’re an idiot.”
“Me? You’re the idiot,” you countered.
“Be my idiot,” he blurted which caused you to lift your head from his pillow as you sat up on his bed.
“I’ve been yours this entire time, you idiot,” you laughed as he came closer to sit on the bed. “Maybe if you actually paid some attention to me you would’ve noticed sooner,” you admitted bitterly as you thought about him talking about Wednesday this past week.
“Wait what?”
“Xavier, you vex me to no end,” you told him as you leaned closer to his face. “Maybe that’s why I fell so hard for you.”
“You make me go mad,” Xavier closed the space between you two as he placed a hand on your cheek pulling you to meet his lips.
It was as if you could feel the pent up emotion Xavier was putting into the kiss. You smiled into the kiss wrapping your arms around his neck as his hands moved to your hips. You moved forward slightly to lean more into him and he let out a groan against your mouth. He stilled in the kiss, keeping your hips in place from moving further. You both pulled away to catch your breath.
“What does this mean for us?” you questioned softly looking into his eyes.
“I think this means you're mine officially,” he smirked.
“I think you have to ask a certain question though,” you joked.
“You’re really going to make me ask,” he laughed throwing his head back.
“Oh, absolutely.”
“Will you, Y/n, be my girlfriend and go to the Rave’N Dance with me,” he asked you raising his hand to tuck a piece of loose hair that fell onto your face.
“Of course, I will,” you smiled back. “You know if I knew all it took was being close to some guy for you to finally ask me out, I would’ve done it sooner. Maybe again, with all this pent up frustration,” you joked letting out a giggle.
“NO! No more guys. EVER!” he said pushing you down on the bed to give you another kiss. "I mean it."

You tap your pencil against your notebook impatiently, staring at the clock, willing it to go faster. Xavier looks over and gives you a small smile.
“So anxious.”
“Shut up,” you mumble as he takes your hand in his, “I just want this stupid class to be over.”
“I thought herbology is your favorite,” Xavier raises an eyebrow at you, nudging you.
You give your boyfriend a dirty look, “Don’t be cute. I need this class to be over.”
“I wonder why.”
And Ms. Thornhill tells you that class is over and you can pack your things. All of your belongings are quickly and carelessly tossed into your bag while Xavier watches you in amusement.
Ever since Rowan left, or was murdered according to Wednesday, your boyfriend has had his dorm to himself. And last weekend, after he snuck you in, he made a suggestion that’s been cemented in your mind ever since he said it.
“Hey, you remember that movie? Titanic?”
You look at him, curious, “Where Leo dies?”
“Well, that’s part of it,” he grins slightly, “Would you let me draw you like that?”
“Wait, when he draws the girl naked?”
“Yeah.”
As you’re leaving the classroom, Ms. Thornhill pulls you aside, needing to talk to you about something to do with your roommate, Yoko. You sigh, hiding your annoyance as best as you can, turning to Xavier.
“I’ll meet you up there,” you say quietly.
He presses a quick kiss to your forehead before walking out of the room. You can’t help but stare after him and admire him. His broad shoulders, the grace with which he carries himself. He turns back and winks at you, making you laugh quietly.
After Ms. Thornhill finally releases you, you race up to your dorm, ignoring Enid’s excited wave. You love her, but for fuck’s sake, if you miss out on time with your boyfriend to hear her complain about that dumbass stoner kid, you’re going to murder her.
Yoko is in your room, watching you with slight interest as you quickly change your clothes, “You and Xavier going into town?”
You shake your head, grinning at her, “No, no we are not. We’re staying in, if you know what I mean.”
She snickers, heading out the door, “Have fun.”
“Oh, I will!”
You hear her laugh again before she closes the door.
You quickly rid yourself of your underwear, wanting to surprise Xavier when you show up and take your uniform off. You can practically see his face in your mind’s eye. You fix your makeup and hair before walking over to your boyfriend’s dorm.
Weems almost catches you, so you duck behind a Poe statue, rendering yourself invisible. After she leaves, you bolt over to Xavier’s dorm, banging on the door.
“It’s open!”
You open the door, enter Xavier’s dorm, and turn around to slam it shut, locking it behind you. Xavier stares at you, confused.
“Weems almost caught me,” you explain, running into his open arms and grinning up at him, “Hello.”
“Hi,” he smiles down at you, kissing you softly, his hands resting on your hips, “You ready to do this?”
“Mhm,” you say, pulling back from him, “Born ready.”
He grabs his desk chair and takes a seat, “Undress for me.”
You shed your uniform jacket, followed by your shoes. You turn around, letting your shirt and skirt drop to the ground, revealing to Xavier you’re wearing nothing underneath. You hear his breath hitch. You smirk to yourself and move to lay down on his bed.
“How do you want me?”
“Uh.”
You laugh, seeing his jaw hanging, looking like a cartoon character, “Well?”
He walks toward you, moving to grab your face and pull you into a kiss, but you stick your hand up between his lips and yours. He opens his eyes and stares at you in confusion.
“You don’t get to touch me until you’re done. I want my sketch, baby.”
He frowns, “C’mon, babe, you can’t be serious!”
You pat his cheek, grinning at him, “I am.”
You lay down on his bed, posing like the girl from Titanic did and quoting in as dramatic a voice as possible, “Draw me like one of your French girls, Xavier.”
Xavier sighs but laughs in spite of himself at how ridiculous you are. He drags his feet back over to his chair. He’s like a little kid who just got his favorite toy taken away.
He pulls his chair close to you and opens his sketchbook, “Okay, I don’t get to touch you till I’m done?”
“Wow, great memory,” you tease him.
“You’re lucky you’re cute,” he rolls his eyes, moving his pencil along the paper for only a moment or two before closing the sketchbook, “Done! Let’s make out now.”
You give him a look, “That fast? Show it to me.”
He sighs, opening the book and showing you the page. Your jaw drops.
“It’s a fucking stick figure, X!”
“You didn’t say the drawing had to be good!”
You shake your head, “If you don’t do draw me and do it well, I’m not fucking you for a week.”
His eyes widen, “You’re kidding, right?”
“I’m so fucking serious, baby.”
He pouts and rips out the page with his awful stick figure, crumpling it up and tossing it at you, “Here.”
You toss it back at him, “No! I feel like she’s judging me with those creepy eyes and weird boobs!”
He throws his head and laughs at you, “I love you so much.”
And he starts actually sketching. You watch him as he works. He’s beautiful, you think, as his eyes move between you and the sketchbook, his hair falling slightly in his face. He looks more intense than you’ve ever seen him when he’s doing a sketch. It’s a bit of an ego boost, if you’re being honest.
When he’s done, around thirty minutes later, he moves to lie down in his bed next to you, handing you the sketchbook, “I hope this one is more to your liking, my muse,” he teases.
You open it and gasp. You always knew he was talented, but this? This is something else. And the way he’s drawn you makes you feel like you’re the most beautiful person to have ever walked the earth. You look at him, smiling, a little shy now.
“Aw, don’t get all coy on me now,” he teases, “You were acting like a little minx when we started.”
“Is this really how you see me?” you ask, rolling over to straddle him, carefully setting his book on his side table, “I mean, I-”
He nods, moving his hands to hold your thighs, pulling you closer to him, “Yeah. It is.”
You lean down and kiss him, moving your hands to run through his hair. He moans into your mouth, moving his hands to squeeze your ass as you grind yourself against him.
“Gotta let me get out of these clothes, babe.”
You move off of him for a second and let him stand up to ditch his clothes, each article that comes off revealing more of him to you. You smile at him, staring in admiration.
“I think you’re beautiful too, X.”
He moves to lie down beside you, facing you, “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
He lifts your leg to drape it over his and looks at you questioningly, “You’re okay if I-”
You nod, “Enid took me to get a refill on my birth control. It’s fine. And I’ve been wet the whole fucking time you were sketching me, so do us both a favor and skip the foreplay,” you press a kiss to the corner of his mouth and whisper, “I need you inside of me right now.”
He nods eagerly and slides into you, making you moan at the way he fills you up. He stays there for a moment, completely still, reveling in how warm you wet you feel around him.
“X, baby,” you plead, taking his face in your hands, “Please? Move?”
He nods, pulling you closer and bucking his hips into yours, going even deeper, still laying beside you. You haven’t fucked in this position before, but you love the intimacy of it and you know he does too. He watches you intently, loving each expression you make, the sound of each of your pants and whines of his name.
He sets a faster pace, holding your leg in place on top of his and fucking into you like he’ll never get to touch you again. Each time, it feels like he’s fucking you harder, faster, deeper than the thrust before. He moves his hand from your leg to rub your clit, making you whine at the sensation. It’s almost too much, but at the same time, it’s never enough.
“Tell me you love me,” he whispers, “Tell me what I do to you.”
“I love you,” you somehow manage to say as his long cock slams into you, “You make me feel like we’re the only two people in the world.”
Xavier kisses you, continuing to rub your clit and thrust into you, making you cry out his name as he brings you closer to the edge. You feel a burning heat in your stomach and know you’re close, your body clenching around him.
“Come for me, Y/N,” he murmurs.
And with one last thrust, he has you screaming his name; you feel every part of your body is on fire and the only thing that can help is him.
He fucks you through your high, only pulling out to spill himself onto the bed.
Xavier presses a kiss to your forehead, smiling at you, “That was amazing. You were amazing.”
You press a kiss to his chest, where his heart is, “I love you, X. More than I ever thought I could ever love a person.”
He rests his forehead against yours and looks into your eyes, “Is it weird if I tell you that you’re kind of my best friend?”
You grin at him, “No. Because you’re my best friend too.”
You roll on top of him, laughing to yourself, making Xavier ask, “What’s so funny?”
“We should reenact the car scene next time. You know? When Leo’s hand is in the window and it’s all steamy-”
You feel him harden again against your leg, “Babe,” he grins, “The night’s still young. Let’s find a car.”

“Why does it have to me though?” You stared at Ajax holding baby Xavier in your arms.
Ajax grinned, “You're the only one that has babysitting experience.”
Staring at the mini Xavier you couldn’t help but smile, “do you know how old his body is right now?”
He shook his head, staring at you slightly smirking at his friend who was now leaning against your chest.
You shook your head glancing down at Xavier in your arms, “do you know if he has the mind of a baby or himself?”
Ajax nodded, “he has the mind of himself. He’s been trying to sketch in his sketchbook.”
You sighed in relief. “Thank god,” you mumbled.
Turning to look at Ajax, “does the teacher and principal know of the situation?”
He nodded, grinning at you. How you wished you could smack him just once…as hard as you could.
“So why can’t one of them take care of him?” You asked, patting Xavier’s back.
Ajax chuckled, “watch this.” He reached his arms out towards Xavier attempting to pick him up only for Xavier to scream bloody murder. “That’s what happens when anyone besides you tries to hold him.”
You laughed, “why doesn’t he do that when I try to hold him?” Smiling down at Xavier you rubbed his cheek, trying to soothe him.
“Who knows…maybe it’s because you have babysitting experience…” Ajax rubbed the back of his neck refusing to meet your eyes.
Narrowing your eyes at him you stared at him until Xavier placed his tiny hand on your face. Rubbing your forehead with your free hand you nodded, “okay I’ll take care of him. Do you know when he’ll go back to normal?”
Ajax gave you an innocent smile, “nope, no clue.”
Sighing you took Xavier into your dorm shutting the door behind you, not bothering to say goodbye to Ajax.
Sitting Xavier down on your bed you smiled at him, “can you open your mouth? I want to check how many teeth you have.”
He gave you a weird look before obediently opening his mouth, allowing you to see four teeth.
“Thank god you have teeth, I wouldn’t know how to feed you if you didn't have any,” you pretended to wipe the sweat off your forehead. “Okay what do you want to do? Are you hungry?”
He shook his head. Staring up at you he clenched his hand waving it around the air.
Seeing him you couldn’t help but smile, he was adorable. “You want to draw?”
He nodded, giving you a wide grin. Babbling out of happiness as you pulled out his art supplies he often left in your dorm.
“Do you want to draw on my bed or on the floor?” You held the supplies in your arm as you waited for his response.
He patted your bed staring at you with wide eyes and an innocent smile.
You laughed at him, “only because you’re so adorable.” You light pinched his cheeks after setting down his art supplies in front of him. Opening his sketchbook on a blank page you watched him clumsily pick up a pencil.
“You’re doing so well,” you praised him, taking a seat next to him.
Your eyes widened as you saw him begin. Although his lines were a bit clumsy his lines were precise, just like his lines normally were.
You patted his head smiling, watching him draw. Slowly but surely his picture came to life, literally. The little bird he drew flew out of the page as soon as he placed the pencil down.
Looking at the bird you stared at him wide eyed, “you’re amazing y’know that? I can’t believe you can still draw so well, not to mention being able to use your abilities even as a baby.”
His laughter echoed around the room, his cheek turning a shade of red hearing your praise.
The day passed with the two of you sitting on your bed. With him drawing and you watching him.
Ajax had been kind enough to bring the two of you your meals. He brought you the normal dishes you would normally eat, and Xavier mashed potatoes.
You feed him in between bites of your own food.
Before you knew it it was nighttime.
Glancing at his dirty clothes you asked him, “can I give you a bath?”
Xaiver eyes widen his smile dropping adamantly shaking his head.
“Okay okay, I won’t but you need to be cleaned up.” You sat staring at him, he too stared at you. “What about I just wipe your face, hands, and feet clean? Would that be okay?”
He didn’t move or say anything for a moment before nodding.
“Okay, stay here and don’t fall off the bed. I’ll go get a wet towel.”
He gave you a nod before you turned around and walked into your bathroom. Coming out of it a moment after holding a damp towel.
“Don’t move around too much, scream if I hurt you, okay?” He once again nodded before you started to wipe him clean.
Pulling back you stared at his now cleaned face, “there so much more handsome.”
His face flushed red, he used his tiny hands to cover his face. Though it didn’t cover much of his rosie cheeks.
“Y’know you suck at hiding your feelings in baby form, unlike when you're you,” you laughed, staring at him. “I thought I didn’t stand a chance, but now I think I do.”
He pulled his hands away from his face, mouth wide open.
“Well goodnight!” You quickly shut off the light, face burning. You hadn’t meant to say that outloud.
You moved him next to you, laying his head on the pillow before you did the same. Patting his stomach you hummed softly in hopes of lulling him into sleep.
As his breathing became slower you stared up at the ceiling, wanting to hit yourself for saying your thoughts out loud. You knew he liked you back but it was still embarrassing blurting out your feelings out loud.
Your mind consumed with embarrassment until sleepiness overpowered it.
Feeling someone stare at you, your eyes fluttered open only to see normal Xavier grinning at you.
You blanked at him trying to figure out why in the hell he was in your bed, only to get a flashback of the day before.
You felt your face heat up as you remembered what you had said just before turning off the lights.
He chuckled, his voice sounded much deeper than you were used to hearing. “You’re adorable y’know that?’
Sitting up you rushed out of the bed staring down at him.
“I-When did you turn back?”
He sat up laughing, “when I woke up I was already myself again.” He stood up walking closer towards you.
You stepped back, only for him to follow you. Once your back had reached the wall you stared at him, “what are you doing?”
He leaned closer towards you, “I like you, you know that. I also know that you like me.”
Nodding you watched as his nose touched yours.
“So would it be okay if I kissed you?” You could feel his breath on your lips.
Staring into his eyes you gave a soft, “yes” before your eyes fluttered shut. You felt him gently pressing his lips against yours.
When he pulled away he laughed, “you’re adorable.”

You had been stuck in the same position for what felt like forever as you sat on the assigned wooden stool. Your arms felt tense and you could could feel yourself twitching. The long hair brunette in front of you chuckled, “Quit squirming. Just 5 more minutes, ok?” You whined, “You said that just before!” Xavier smirked, “This time I’m telling the truth. I’m almost done just hold that pose.” If it was anyone else you would have got up and walked away but, you had quite the soft spot for Xavier. You weren’t sure how you felt about it, or maybe you were just in denial. You first met Xavier Thorpe at the start of the year, sharing the class of botanical sciences with Ms Thornhill when the only available seat was next to him. It didn’t take long for him to befriend you, admiring your passion towards botany as well as art. You gazed at the long haired boy in front of you, watching as his brows furrowed with concentration, his slender fingers at work sketching you, and the sun shining on him just right. You could watch him all day. Xavier of course noticed your staring, secretly basking in your gaze. He noticed everything. His signature smirk found its way onto his face, “Done staring?”
Your mouth fell agape, cheeks flushed at the embarrassment of being caught, “Shut up.” The brunette only grinned wider in response. You cleared your throat collecting yourself, “Are you finally done?” Xavier simply nodded, beckoning you to come look at his sketch. He looked away, suddenly shy as you gasped in response to his artwork. It was stunning, his line work was precise capturing your entire essence, the shadows in his work adding depth to your face. It was perfect. You looked over at the suddenly shy boy, your hand cupping his narrow chin, gently guiding him to look at you. “Xavier Thorpe,” he loved it when you said his name, “you have truly out done yourself. This is perfect.” A soft smile graced his face, “Really?” You held eye contact with his green eyes, “Really.” His lanky arms snaked around your waist pulling you closer from where he sat, “It’s all thanks to my muse.” Your breath hitched from the close proximity, internally cursing yourself as you reminded yourself it was only a friendship. But you found yourself desperately craving more.
A playful grin breaks out on your lips, “Oh yeah? You better be grateful!” Thorpe smirks in return, “I can find better ways to show my gratitude.” The two of you dangerously dangled over the lines of friendship and romance, your heart beating sickeningly quick. Your voice dropped to a soft whisper as you cupped his face, “Then show me.” Xavier lets out a groan at your words, craving you just as desperately. Unbeknownst to you, Thorpe’s had his eyes on you the moment you walked into Thornhill’s class, kicking out Ajax from his seat as you scanned the room lost. “You have no idea how much that means to me.” The long haired brunette leaned in capturing your lips in a kiss you were more than happy to return. His arms pulling you flush against him as he guided you onto his lap straddling him. As you kissed, one of your hands travelled to his hair tugging gently as he whined into your mouth. You took a mental note of course.
You pulled away to catch your breath but, Xavier wasn’t quite done with you yet. His lips trailed down from yours, moving to your jaw and onto the juncture between your neck and shoulder sucking harsh enough to leave a mark as you groaned beneath him before soothing it with a kiss. You were gasping against him as he marked your neck over and over before he met your lips again. There was no fight for dominance as you slipped your tongue into his mouth, that boy would honestly let you do anything to him. You ran your hands through his hair once more as he groaned until the two of you finally pulled away. You gave him one more peck, “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.” Xavier raises his eyebrows smirking slightly, “Oh yeah? You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that!” You grin, “Winner gets a kiss.” He pulls you closer staring at your lips, “Can’t argue with that.”

“Now, this is too far,” you said to Wednesday as she told you about her suspicions about Xavier being the monster.
“All the evidence points to him.”
“Wednesday, it’s not him.”
“You’re only saying that because you’re in a relationship with him,” the girl argued back with her.
“No shit, Wednesday. I know him enough to know he’s not. You think I wouldn’t notice by now if he were going around town killing people?”
“You’re letting this blind your judgment,” Wednesday stated.
“NEWS FLASH WEDNESDAY HE’S NOT THE HYDE! WOULD IT KILL YOU THINK FOR ANYONE BUT YOURSELF?!” you yelled at the girl who just raised her eyebrows back at you.
“What are you going to do when you find out he is?”
“Nothing,” you answered softly you could feel a headache coming from yelling, “There’s nothing to find out.” You walked back inside from the balcony and exited the room before you felt like destroying anything, and Enid would get mad at the mess later.
You wandered around the school before you came upon the statute of Edgar Allen Poe. You sat down near the statute wanting to clear your mind for a second before you looked up and realized the mark beneath the book he was holding. You tried to recall what your mom would always tell you as a kid about the Nightshade Society.
“He was notorious for his riddles. For it was not one alone, but each line was individual. One to remember is, ‘The answer will give a sharp cracking sound,’ that will help you once you find it,” was something she always mentioned when she talked about Nevermore.
“A sharp cracking sound,” you repeated as you stood from your spot and it clicked, or more so snapped into place. You raised your right arm and snapped two times. “Thank you, Nightshade Society.”
You walked down the staircase into the dimly lit library. The portraits that hung on the wall of old members caught your eye as you looked about the room. At the end of the portraits you find your parents, they tell you to make a name for yourself, but how could you live up to them?
“You put that bag over my head, I will choke you with that very rope in your hands,” you warned the people who stood behind you as you looked for your mom’s diary knowing that would be the only thing you could find answers in. “You should know to not mess with a witch with heightened senses.”
“Oh, come on, Y/n, we were just trying to have fun,” Kent joked causing the other to mutter in agreement.
“I WASN’T GOING TO DO ANYTHING I SWEAR,” Xavier yelped once he notice it was you and threw the bag in his hands to Ajax.
“Someone’s in the dog house tonight…” Yoko teased. Kent and a couple of the others gave a couple howls joining in the joke.
“You know Xavier you could’ve told me about this,” you said as you finally found your mother’s diary.
“Babe, if I could, I would’ve-”
“He’s sworn to secrecy,” Bianca pointed out as she gave you a dirty look when you walked to a desk with the diary in your arms.
You pulled it out to see she sealed it with magic though not any kind of magic, blood magic. “My family was a part of the Nightshades long before you, although I thought it to be disbanded.”
“Yeah, the group kind of lost its charter 30 years ago after some normie kid died,” Xavier explained which answered your thoughts as he walked up to you noticing that you were looking for something.
“But we have a lot of wealthy alumni, so Weems looks the other way as long as nobody makes any waves,” Yoko added on.
“What are you looking for anyways?” Xavier questioned you.
“If you’re trying to open your mom’s diary, you can’t,” Bianca told you cockingly.
“Maybe you can’t,” you retorted just when you noticed a letter opener sitting at the corner of the table.
You reached over and grabbed it seeing that it had a sharp edge. You noticed from your peripheral vision that the group was crowding around you to see what you were doing. Xavier was right next to you with his attention on the knife you held in your hand. You lifted your right hand over the book and took the knife to your palm just before it touched your skin you heard shouts from around the room.
“Y/N!”
“Woah, girl, no need to prove a point.”
“No need for bloodshed-”
“What are you doing?!”
“No, no, no, no, absolutely not,” you heard Xavier say as he tried to grab for the knife, but it was too late. “Oh my god, only you. Literally, you’re the only one who would do this.”
You sliced the inside of your palm and allowed for the knife to drop down onto the table as you felt the sting in your palm. You closed your fist and put it directly above the lock on the book. You felt the blood sweep down near the bottom of your fist before it dropped down into the lock.
“Blood magic?” Yoko asked in amazement when she saw the lock unlatch and you opened to the front page that held your mom’s portrait along with her signature.
“Only the very best for mother dearest,” you remark sarcastically.
“That explains a lot!” Kent said from behind as Xavier looked around for a first aid kit. “Bianca was trying to open that months ago and nothing would work!” right as the words left his mouth, Bianca smacked him in the back of the head causing him to groan in pain, “Well, ow.”
When Xavier finally found a first aid kit that looked like it could be decades old, he went back to your side and held out his palm to you. Putting your sliced palm in his hand without him even having to ask you.
“I couldn’t find any actual alcohol to disinfect it, so vodka will have to do,” he unscrewed the bottle with one hand and looked back into your eyes before you gave him a slight nod telling him it was okay for him to do it. “This might sting.”
“Oh shit, I can’t watch,” Ajax gagged as the vodka was poured onto your palm and the blood washed away with it.
“Makes the both of us,” another member said.
“Stop being babies, people would think you’re the one with the cut palm,” you told them off as taking in the pain with no reaction. “At least I have a hot doctor patching me up,” you smirked.
“Only for you,” Xavier muttered as he focused on wrapping the bandage around your hand. At this point, almost all the members already left not wanting to see what you and Xavier get up to.
“Thanks, babe,” giving him a kiss on the cheek before returning your attention back to your mother’s diary.
“What was so important that you have to look into your mom’s diary?” he asked you. “You’re looking for answers, but for what?”
“Any information about hydes.”
“That’s the monster, Wednesday was talking about right?”
“The same one she believes you to be, yes.” you look up from the diary to see his confused expression.
“Wait, me?” he wondered aloud.
“I told her it wasn’t you though, but that girl is the most stubborn person I have ever met,” you informed him taking one of his hands in your non-injured one to give it a tight squeeze in reassurance. “You have to be careful, I know you’re not the Hyde, but she is going to do everything she can to prove her point.”
“I love you.” he blurted out to you. “You could’ve easily believed her, but you didn’t.”
“I know you, Xavier. There’s no damn way in hell, I’m going to let you be falsely accused for something you so obviously are not,” you stated. “And, I love you, that’s why I’m trying to see if my mother knew anything about Hydes during her time here,” you smiled at him.
You turned to put the diary back onto the desk as you hurriedly flipped through the pages scanning for any kind of information on the damn monster. You were about to turn to another page just before you noticed a name you’ve heard of before. Francois Sylvanne. Xavier moved to stand behind you leaning over your shoulder to read the diary as well. He placed his hands on your hips to steady himself causing you to lean back into him.
“Seems like Wednesday’s little boy toy just got way more interesting,” you pointed to the name on the page for Xavier to read.
“Who is she?”
“His mother. The same one he goes to therapy for, I heard she died a while back, and apparently the sheriff isn’t only bad at his job but bad at parenting too,” you explained as you read more of your mom’s writing.
There’s something about this girl. She keeps to herself. Quiet. Distance. Truly an Outcast. I have a feeling something is going on with her or at least something will. I’m going to keep a close eye on her, but she is graduating this year.
“Weird, your mom always has good intuition, I wonder if she’s right about this one too,” Xavier said after he read your mother’s entry.
You flipped through more pages of the book and found nothing. You looked at every line on the pages, and your mother never mentioned her once again. It wasn’t until you got to the last page of the diary to see a quite messier version of your mother’s writing.
THAT GIRL IS A HYDE. FRANCOIS IS A HYDE. HIDDEN AWAY WITH A NORMIE IN THE TOWN.
“No,” you gaped as you turned to see nothing more and reached the end of the book.
“Do you think Tyler’s the Hyde?” he whispered into your ear.
“It’s the only way. It makes sense too,” you claimed, “But the question is why?”

you watch from afar as you see your boyfriend walk up to wednesday addams once again. rolling your eyes, you hear your name being called by bianca. “come on, if you want to get back at her i’m racing against her in the poe cup. i know xavier means the world to you so, this is your chance to make her step down— when we win. humiliate her. i already have a plan,” bianca smirked. you shook her head, “i’m not getting back to a girl who’s done nothing. till i have evidence that they’ve been fucking, i’ll join you bianca.” your eyes met her piercing ones, and she huffed. “suit your loss. but we both know they already have been since day one.”
rolling your eyes, you walk the other way to a class you just been put in and look no other, wednesday addams alongside xavier thorpe sitting next to her. you scoff, placing your hand on your hip. xavier looked your way and gave you a weary smile, a wave and nothing else.
“good evening class,” the redheaded stated. “we have two new students in our classes, one that just enrolled to our school and one who just switched classes. i’m sure you already know her,” she gestured to you. you stood up, “i’m sure you already know me. but to make this clear for the new girl, i’m (y/n).” you smiled hastily at her, than sat right back down with a sneer look on your face.
xavier looked to the right behind him, a confused look of ‘what the hell was that?’ and you just rolled your eyes straight back at him. class continued, and the bell rung. letting everyone out first, you finally finished placing your books neatly into your book bag.
“i’ll see you next session, xavier. (y/n), good to see you in my class. hope to have you here tomorrow.” she smiled kindly and you did as well, before getting up from your seat and placing your bag onto your back. “(y/n)-“ xavier called, stepping a few steps towards you. you twirl to face him, “what.” you spat out.
he bit his lip, “i know i’ve been a shitty boy—” you scoff. “bianca’s right. i shouldn’t have d—” he slammed you back into a wall, both hands right from your face side to side. “don’t you dare fucking say that,” he spat. “don’t you dare.” his eyes glared into yours, “for the past two years that we’ve fallen into love, i have always gone to sleep thinking and dreaming of you. not once did it change when wednesday came into our lives, and you know why?” he sneered out. your eyes widened, a bit scared by him due to the sudden outburst. “because i love you.” he finished.
“i don’t care, if you’re ready to say it or not. i love you, (y/n). i always have and always will.” he softened his eyes, his voice. and had a little smile on him. onto you, in your mind, you’ve never once had any type of love to have your parents gave you up at the age of fifteen, no family members wanting to take you in due to them being too scared to what your parents could do if they did. “you are the one that’s important to me, you are the one that makes me whole—” you interrupted him, your hands on both either side of his cheeks.
your lips met his, and his left hand met to your waist. the two of you slowly let go of each other, your eyes meeting his. “i’m sorry,” you apologized. “i just didn’t want to lose you to.. addams. you are the only person i trust, and the only person i love. i can’t risk to lose—” you can see that he was smiling, and he was smiling big time. “what was that?” and you knew what he was asking.
you sighed and shook your head, a small smile forming onto your lips. you’ve never said that to him, out in the blue. and now that you have, he knew that no matter what happened, the two of you would stick like glue and figure shit out on your own times. “i love you,” you whisper. he smiled, his thumb running over your bottom lip. “i love you,” he repeated after, closing the space between you both.
