REMINDER, DO NOT FOLLOW ME IF YOU "WORK WITH LILITH"

I have too much respect for witchblr's Jewish community to waste time with people who appropriate aspects of their culture, and refuse to respect their requests that you all stop.

If you're TRULY clueless as to WHY working with Lilith is not okay I can link you to a few resources on it, but I truly suggest you seek out someone who IS jewish and learn from them instead.

Hi šŸ‘‹, My name is Mohammad, and I’m reaching out in a moment of desperate need. I’m a father of three young children living in Gaza, and we are caught in the midst of a catastrophic war. Our home is no longer a safe haven, and the future here seems increasingly uncertain. šŸ’”

I’ve launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $40,000 to relocate my family to a safer place where my children can grow up in peace and have a chance at a brighter future.

Unfortunately, my previous fundraising efforts were abruptly halted when my account was terminated without explanation. However, I remain determined to keep fighting for my family’s safety and well-being. 🫶

If you could take a moment to read our story, consider donating, or simply share our campaign with others, it would make an incredible difference. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to safety and a new beginning. šŸ™

Thank you for your time, compassion, and support. ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹

One Of The Earliest Definite Mentions Of Azazel Was In The Book Of Enoch, Particularly In What Is Known

One of the earliest definite mentions of Azazel was in the Book of Enoch, particularly in what is known as The Book of the Watchers. This text, written between the 3rd and 1st century BCE, is a part of the Dead Sea Scrolls and is not considered canon by most modern day denominations but the characters and stories in this text remain a popular source of intrigue even to this day. In Enoch, we are told of the Grigori (Watchers) who were a group of 200 angels in charge of, you guessed it, watching mankind. In the process of watching humanity, they began to notice the ā€œbeautiful and comely daughtersā€ of mankind and were overcome with lust for these women. Collectively, they agreed to take wives and father children but their leader Semjaza expressed concern that some of his men would back out. In an effort to guarantee that he would not be the only one commit this great sin, they all took an oath on Mt. Hermon, binding themselves ā€˜by mutual imprecations.’ Of the 200 Grigori, there were 20 leaders, with Semjaza holding the highest rank. The second highest rank went to Azazel who taught mankind how to make weapons and use cosmetics (get yourself an angel who can do both!)

Each of the Watchers taught humanity different ā€˜secrets of heaven’, which ended up being subjects like astrology, meteorology, and various practices considered ā€˜witchcraft’ in those times. However, some of them taught subjects still considered taboo in certain cultures. Tamiel, also called Kasdeja, for instance, was said to have taught women about abortion. Each of the Watchers also slept with mortal women and fathered monstrous giants called Nephilim. The Nephilim were said to be 3000 ells high, which is a little more than 2 miles tall. They were ravenous, even cannibalistic. When the labors of humanity could no longer keep up with the Nephilim’s appetites, the Nephilim turned on humanity, devouring man, animal, and each other. Those who were killed by the deeds of the Watchers arrived in heaven and brought God’s attention to destruction on Earth. To combat the devastation brought on by the Watchers, God sent he archangels. Uriel was told to warn Noah of the upcoming flood. Gabriel was in charge of killing the ā€œbastards and the reprobatesā€ as well as the Nephilim. He was instructed to pit them against each other while Michael bound Semjaza and the rest of the Watchers so that they could see their son’s rip each other apart. But God specifically set out an individual punishment for Azazel. ā€œThe Lord said to Raphael: ā€˜Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there forever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire.ā€ He further adds ā€œthe whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin.’

Art: Azazel by Peter Mohrbacher ( @bugmeyer ) for his work, Book of the Watchers.Ā

Luciferian feminine - without appropriation

One of the most popular beings venerated in modern Luciferianism (as well as Satanism), besides Lucifer himself, is Lilith. That is unfortunate, as she is a being exclusive to a closed religion. People will say she is an ancient goddess and not originally Jewish - that is not true. Jewish Lilith is connected with certain other beings and classes of beings, but is not the same, and the whole story with her being the first wife of Adam and becoming wife of Samael is Jewish. As I’m not Jewish myself, I will linkĀ @will-o-the-witch ’s blog. She wrote extensively on Lilith appropriation and misconceptions surrounding her. Quite prominent Eisheth Zenunim, Agrat and Naamah are also exclusive to Judaism.Ā

However, there are many fascinating feminine figures a Luciferian can research and potentially work with that are open. They come from various places, but all have some established connections with Lucifer and the infernal.

First of all, Eve is often contrasted with Lilith and depicted as some docile ancient tradwife archetype. And this makes totally no sense, because Eve ate the fruit, and shared it with Adam. She was the one who dared to reach for knowledge and give it to humanity, and was misogynistically reviled for it in Christianity for centuries. The story of Eden is so important in modern Luciferianism, and yet, Eve remains tragically underappreciated. People will say they want to reclaim a reviled feminine figure and that’s why they appropriate Lilith, and at the same time completely remove Eve’s agency from her story.

image

Speaking of Lucifer, he is not strictly male - they are a fallen angel, which makes them nonbinary. They are a very androgynous, fluid, shapeshifting being. And while masculine depictions are more prominent, there’s lots of lore with her assuming a feminine form as well. If you want to explore Luciferian feminine,Ā I thinkĀ feminine aspects of Lucifer themself are really worth looking at.

Some other demons associated with femininity are:Ā Astaroth (connected to ancient goddess Astarte), Vepar (depicted as a mermaid) andĀ Gremory (depicted as a beautiful woman). That said, none of them should be approached with the assumption of being women or always presenting feminine in any culture’s terms. They’re not women, they’re demons, and they are not bound to any human concepts of gender. They will do whatever they want. The same applies generally to any being of angelic origins. (Please note that while grimoires include many open spirits, they also include a lot of appropriation so check origins of things before diving into stuff. This is not just about entities - you can very much approach a non-exclusive being with techniques that are bastardized elements of Judaism.)

image

The goddess Diana in AradiaĀ is depicted as Lucifer’s partner, and Aradia is their daughter who came to Earth to teach oppressed people witchcraft. While the book’s authenticity is still disputed academically, it influenced modern witchcraft greatly.* It can be particularly interesting for Luciferian witches, as well as anyone whose Luciferianism is connected to social justice.

Diana’s role in Aradia is influenced by her role as a Witch Goddess and aĀ Fairy Queen in post-christianisation folklore. Both witches and fairies often have infernal associations in that folklore. The Fairy Queen, or various specific Fairy Queens, were sometimes connected with the Lucifer as the Folk Devil, who could be depicted as their partner and even a Fairy King himself. Interested in folkloric Luciferianism? Check out the Fairy Queen.

While I’m not aware of anything connecting her specifically with Lucifer that wouldn’t be modern, Hekate in post-antique folklore shares not only Diana’s role as a Witch Goddess, but also her connection to the fairies and infernal associations - the depiction of those two in that context is more often than not very similar. William Warner in Albion’s England describes her as Queen of Hell (not simply Greek Hades, but Hell, and possibly the fairy realms as well).

image

And finally, even though she comes from Thelema, not Luciferianism or Satanism, Babalon, the Whore of Babylon goddess,Ā is quite popular among many LHP practicioners, including Luciferians and Satanism. If you’re interested in Lilith because you associate her with untamed sexuality, you can check out Babalon.

As I wanted to include many beings in that post, I don’t have experience with every single one of them, but if you have some questions about Diana or Aradia, and especially about Hekate (with whom I worked the longest) you can send asks, they are very prominent in my practice and I might be able to help.

*cw for a few myths involving sexual assault, and one passage that is antisemitic and anti-Romani. While Aradia is a historically important text for modern witchcraft, it should be questioned and should never be treated as a literal gospel.

How do non-theistic luciferians work towards apotheosis if they don't even belief in the existence of gods?

Apotheosis does not only refer to literal deification. I’ve found that the number of luciferians who work towards this particular understanding of apotheosis, in which they strive to transcend and shed their own mortality to become literal gods, are few in comparison to those that incorporate apotheosis in their work in a much broader sense, where divinity doesn’t exist solely outside of the bounds of humanity.Instead, apotheosis may mean becoming like God. It may mean taking responsibility of one’s own fate, of refusing to blame or thank anyone/anything for what they have done for (or to) themselves. Apotheosis may refer to self-betterment, in which the vision of your own best self is the divinity you seek to become.Ā It may refer to the godhood that mankind has already made for itself, this strange sort of artificial (but not necessarily lesser) divinity that our own hands have wrought.Ā

There are so many different things that apotheosis may mean to someone, theism is hardly a requirement. In fact, I think this is an excellent chance to get some discussion going on—anon, perhaps input from others will help answer your question even further. So, I’m opening this up to whoever wants to contribute: What is your understanding of apotheosis, and how do you incorporate it into your own practice?

Demon-A-Day: Phenex

Demon-A-Day: Phenex

Phenex – MARQUIS

Color: Violet

Incense: Jasmine

Metal: Silver

Planet: Moon

Element: Fire (Under Amaymon)

Demonic Enn: Ef enay Phenex ayer

Date (Connolly): March 21-30 (Night time)

Date (Runyon): Sept 23-27

Archangel: Raphael

Origin: Ancient Egyptian Benu bird (Phoenix), also a Fallen Angel, probably from the Order of Dominations as was Marchosias.

Original Text from the Ars Goetia:

The Thirty-Seventh Spirit is Phenex (or Pheynix). He is a great Marquis, and appeareth like a Bird Phoenix, having the Voice of a Child. He singeth many sweet notes before the exorcist, which he must not regard, but by-and-by he must bid him to take a human shape. Then he will speak marvellously of all wonderful Sciences if required. He is a Poet, good and excellent. And he will be wiling to perform thy requests. He hath hopes also to return to the Seventh Throne after 1,200 years more, as he said unto Solomon. He governs 20 legions of spirits, And his seal is this, which wear thou, etc.

Other citations of note:

Phenex is a poet and inspires the magician to writeĀ and create tomes and works … Phenex is a nature spirit, whom inspires a careful pondering of the places of nature and the animals within it.

From Goetia, Luciferian Edition by Michael Ford

Another daemonic muse for the creative. Invoke Phenex during fire baptisms and rebirth rituals including creative path working.

From Daemonolatry Goetia by S. Connolly

All the sources focus on the idea of Phenex being one quick to deceive if you listen too long, but definitely not a demon who’s going to go out and murder you. Phenex is also known by Pheynex, and the very rare simplification of just Phoenix. Phenex also doesn’t happen to exist in any Hierarchies, ah well. Just a Marquis in Solomon’s original texts who’s lookin’ to get back into heaven.

Demonic Ranking System: Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

Phenex is pretty much the closest thing to a piece of cake you could find. sure, there are probably other demons who aren’t made of literal fire and whatnot, but all you have to do is tell Phenex you want them to look human and bam. nothing to worry about. they’re basically a muse, hardly even worth worrying about. Great for a first timer or an artsy person, I’ll say.

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

I’ve seen a lot of aspiring sea witches being discouraged due to not living anywhere near the ocean. And I’m here to tell you that you can still be a sea witch and be landlocked! Being landlocked will only hinder you if you let it.

So, let’s get going!

🌊Making Your Own Sea Water🌊

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

You will need:

🌊A jar/air tight bottle. I find a swing cap bottle works best

🌊Sea salt, eyeball amount depending on jar size

🌊Warm spring water

Ground and centre. Listen to ocean sounds and visualise and feel the power of the sea. Connect with the ocean by doing a Sinking/sea centering.

Pour the water into the jar. Add the sea salt. Mix until the salt has dissolved.

Hold the jar in both hands in front of your heart, saying:

ā€œšŸš Mother ocean, from whom life flows, Bless this water with your love and nurturing power, your endless beauty and strength, For this I am grateful. So mote it be šŸšā€

(Feel free to replace mother ocean with the name of your sea deity, if you have one)

Close your eyes. Continue to hold the jar at your heart and visualise the ocean. With your hands, feel the sea’s energy emanating from the jar. When the feeling is strong, open your eyes. Your sea water is ready to use.

šŸŒŠšŸ”ŠSea Sound ScapesšŸ”ŠšŸŒŠ

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

Your sea water can be placed in a bowl and you have the ocean right there. Combine that with the sound scape, listening to the waves coming in and going out. Synch that with any spell work you want to do regarding waves, tides, giving things to mother ocean etc. With me, I place things in the bowl and then pour the water and item (if it’s eco friendly) in the stream near my house.

I also use this technique to place myself at the beach through the senses. Hold a seashell or touch some sand, taste some salt, listen to ocean sounds, have an image or video of the sea, and if you can (I struggle with this) have a scent that’s ocean themed. I’ve struggled to find one as most scented candles labelled sea breeze smell like soap… And with this, you can perform rituals and workings centered around that water you made. Through your visualisation skills you can be by the sea, even when you physically aren’t. Cool, huh?!

šŸ’™You Are OceanšŸ’™

The ocean is within you. It’s your blood, the sweat, your tears, your breath, your pulse. The ocean has a rhythm, so does the human body. We’re 65% water. And what’s even cooler is we also have a tide. The moon affects the body’s fluids, just like it affects the ocean. These ideas have really helped me with my craft because being landlocked, I’m sometimes like ā€œhow can I connect with the sea?ā€ So knowing I have a tide and the rhythm of the sea, which is like the rhythm of pulse, just totally blows my mind and amazes me!

šŸ’§šŸ’¦Inland WateršŸ’¦šŸ’§

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

Now this is something that kinda quenches my sea thirst. If you can, travel to a nearby lake, river, stream etc. Sit near it. Connect with it. Follow your intuition and connect with its energy. Ask Mother Ocean/Your water deity to help you.

Honestly, I’ve been in meditation near freshwater and the smell, if I focus enough, reminds me of the sea air and it literally transports me in my mind and senses to the beach. And that’s one of my vital tools in my craft. (talk about water being adaptable and water witches doing the same, eh?!)

šŸ›€šŸšæBath & Shower MagicšŸšæšŸ›€

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

🌊Bath bombs. Look up their ingredients to know the correspondences, or, just make up your own. Lush are honestly amazing and their products have been used a lot in my bath rituals

🌊Sallllttssss! You can make a saltwater bath, meditate and relax and really tap into that ocean energy

🌊Bath tub altar. Have a little altar going on when you take a bath. Shells, candles, incense, trinkets you’ve collected or purchased, statues. Anything you have that makes you feel connected with the sea

🌊 You can use crystals that correspond to water if you like. Aquamarine, moonstone, fluorite, amethyst, labradorite, selenite and rose quartz are just a few examples. If you’re putting crystals in your tub please research which ones are water safe!

🌊Herbs and oils. You can add these to your bathtub. Please research again. Some herbs are toxic and some you may be allergic to. The same with oils, as some people have allergic reactions to them! I don’t often use herbs and oils for this reason. I get irritated skin very easily. I use coconut oil in my bath for purification and I just looooove coconut oil and the scent. Also its amazing for your skin! I use lavender oil and that’s literally it. I use oils outside of the tub, though. For candle dressing and other spell work.

🌊And if you don’t have a bathtub, all of those above ingredients and can be made into shower scrubs! They’re super easy to make and there’s a tonne of amazing tutorials around online!

🌊Meditate or work in the shower. Feel that water flowing down and through you, allow it to cleanse and charge you. Go with your intuition and explore the possibilities

šŸŒ©šŸŒŖļøā˜„ļøWeatherā˜„ļøšŸŒŖļøšŸŒ©ļø

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

Weather. It all begins at sea. Snow, rain, thunder storms, winds, hail. Its all from the sea. The water is ocean water that’s traveled to the land. Weather magic is just a more expanded form of sea magic. Go out and let the rain cleanse you, collect weather water of any kind and make your sea water with it! Feel the power of a storm and focus on how much energy the sea has during that time. Feel her with you when you are on land! Remember to stay safe when practising weather magic, too.

🐚✨Seashell Magic✨🐚

šŸ—»šŸŒŠSkye’s Landlocked Sea Witch TipsšŸŒŠšŸ—»

And if you have seashells, they have amazing uses and correspondences. Offering bowls, amulets, charms, talismans, runes, charging items and so on. I highly recommend the book Sea Magic by Sandra Kynes as a lot of the tips I’ve given you were inspired or taken from that book :)

A quick PSA regarding seashells:

If your shells are store bought, they may not be ethically sourced. Some craft stores sell them by the many so try to be wary of this. It’s down to your moral compass whether or not you decide to use them in your craft. And if you do choose to use them, I advise cleansing them before any magical use. Furthermore, do not purchase nautilus shells, starfish or seahorses. Nautilus shells are endangered. Star fish and sea horses are taken alive, then killed to be sold in stores.

I really hope this helped! Have a swishy day! šŸŒŠšŸ’™And if you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

Venus & Satan

Connection with Satan/Lucifer

In the Book of Isaiah, chapter 14, the king of Babylon is condemned in a prophetic vision by the prophet Isaiah and is called הֵילֵל בֶּן-שָׁחַר (Helel ben Shachar, Hebrew for "shining one, son of the morning"), who is addressed as הילל בן שחר (HĆŖlĆŖl ben ŠāḄar), The title "HĆŖlĆŖl ben ŠāḄar" refers to the planet Venus as the morning star, and that is how the Hebrew word is usually interpreted.

This passage was the origin of the later belief that Satan was a fallen angel, who could also be referred to as "Lucifer".

However, the translation of הֵילֵל as "Lucifer" has been abandoned in modern English translations of Isaiah 14:12.

An association of Isaiah 14:12–18 with a personification of evil, called the devil, developed outside of mainstream Rabbinic Judaism in pseudepigrapha and Christian writings, particularly with the apocalypses.

The metaphor of the morning star that Isaiah 14:12 applied to a king of Babylon gave rise to the general use of the Latin word for "morning star", capitalized, as the original name of the devil before his fall from grace, linking Isaiah 14:12 with Luke 10 ("I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven") and interpreting the passage in Isaiah as an allegory of Satan's fall from heaven.

Astronomy

Venus is the third-brightest object in the sky and the most prominent planet.

The third smallest planet in the Solar System, Venus is a terrestrial planet and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to the Sun, and bulk composition.

Venus is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from Earth in light.

Venus has an extremely dense atmosphere composed of 96.5% carbon dioxide, 3.5% nitrogen—both exist as supercritical fluids at the planet's surface—and traces of other gases including sulfur dioxide.

The ground shows evidence of extensive volcanism, and the sulfur in the atmosphere may indicate that there have been recent eruptions.

The absence of evidence of lava flow accompanying any of the visible calderas remains an enigma.

The planet is bright enough to be seen in broad daylight, but is more easily visible when the Sun is low on the horizon or setting. As an inferior planet, it always lies within about 47° of the Sun.

Venus "overtakes" Earth every 584 days as it orbits the Sun. As it does so, it changes from the "Evening Star", visible after sunset, to the "Morning Star", visible before sunrise.

As it orbits the Sun, Venus displays phases like those of the Moon in a telescopic view.

The pentagram of Venus is the path that Venus makes as observed from Earth.

Venus & Satan
Venus & Satan

The pentagram of Venus. Earth is positioned at the centre of the diagram, and the curve represents the direction and distance of Venus as a function of time.

The pentagram of Venus is sometimes also referred to as the petals of Venus due to the path's visual similarity to a flower.

What color is Venus

To the naked eye, Venus appears as a white point of light brighter than any other planet or star (apart from the Sun).

If looking with human eyes, Venus is white and yellow with a reddish and brown surface. Scientists generally agree to describe Venus as white and yellow.

Alchemy

To the world of antiquity, Venus/Copper stood as a personification of the divine feminine.

Venus/Copper was the planet/element that represented aspects of feminine beauty, love, lust, artistic creativity, affection, fertility, and balanced thinking.

In magic, Venus/Copper is used to promote love, sensuality, friendship, positive relationships, fruitful negations, and peace.

To the alchemist, Venus/Copper represents the love and compassion needed to become a well-rounded individual. It is the balanced psychological energy of Venus/Copper that allows the alchemist to evaluate experiences through one’s inner eye and bring those powerful insights into conscience awareness.

Culture

Dante Alighieri associated Venus with the liberal art of rhetoric.

The Venus symbol, ♀, consists of a circle with a small cross below it. It has been interpreted as a depiction of the hand-mirror of the goddess, which may also explain Venus's association with the planetary metal copper, as mirrors in antiquity were made of polished copper (alloy), though this is not certain.

In botany and biology, the symbol for Venus is used to represent the female sex, alongside the symbol for Mars representing the male sex, following a convention introduced by Linnaeus in the 1750s.

Arising from the biological convention, the symbol also came to be used in sociological contexts to represent women or femininity.

The discovery in the modern era that Venus was a distant world covered in impenetrable cloud cover gave science fiction writers free rein to speculate on conditions at its surface; all the more so when early observations showed that not only was it similar in size to Earth, it possessed a substantial atmosphere. Closer to the Sun than Earth, the planet was frequently depicted as warmer, but still habitable by humans. The genre reached its peak between the 1930s and 1950s, at a time when science had revealed some aspects of Venus, but not yet the harsh reality of its surface conditions.

The Name of Lucifer

The Name Of Lucifer

Always Rising

The passage in Isaiah that became associated with the fallen angel speaks of the bright Morningstar explicitly as a Fallen Star as well, fallen due to his pride that led him to rise against God himself. The fragment is explicitly not about our Lucifer - but this is essentially how he's seen in Christianity (and where the Isaiah association generally ends).

Challenging God is something that certainly demands extraordinary courage. The consequences Lucifer suffered were painful. And yet, the dawn always rises again, and so does the Morningstar, persistent and unbroken. Thus, Lucifer's name can be linked to those qualities, as well as to hope, rebirth and new beginnings.

The Star of Venus

As the church considered it sinful, sex became naturally associated with Lucifer. Later, when the Romantic Satanists began to reclaim his and Satan's symbolism - whether treating them separately or as one entity - they reevaluated this association more positively.

The reason why I'm talking about it here is that it coincides perfectly with the Morningstar being the planet Venus in both astrology and various religions connected with love and eroticism.

In my experience, the planet's association with various kinds of love, not just romantic and sexual, mirrors Lucifer's nature as well.

Light of Intellect

Lucifer is, of course, also a spirit of intellect whose light can be understood in connection to that as well. As the Serpent and ever further, they are encouraging us to question, to practice critical thinking, to learn and reflect.

Light of Gnosis

Not necessarily about Gnosticism, gnosis is spiritual knowledge acquired in personal experience. It is subjective, of course, but beautiful. In a more spiritual interpretation of the Eden myth, the knowledge Lucifer the Serpent opens the way to is gnosis.

Note - you might have heard the term UPG. In the spiritual context, it stands for unverified personal gnosis. While, in my opinion, personal gnosis would be enough - it's always unverified, in the end - the term helps us coexist while understanding things in our own ways.

The Warmth

There's another, deeply personal way I've experienced the light Lucifer brings - the light of comfort that shines in the dark, the sweet flame warming me when I need support.

The Name Of Lucifer

There are certainly more ways you can interpret Lucifer's name! Do you have your own?

Sea Magic : A Sea Witch bottle for Protection

Sea Magic is that which is practiced by the ocean, or using objects related to the ocean or coastline. It has been practiced for hundreds of years, as populations have always resided close by.

Sea Magic : A Sea Witch Bottle For Protection

The oceans have always been worshipped, feared, revered, and cherished; and many stories of ocean gods, goddesses, sea creatures, and mermaids have been passed down through the generations, adding to the mystery and magic of the Sea.

Today I am sharing a simple spell from Scott Cunningham’s Earth Power, which is used as a protective device.

Sea Magic : A Sea Witch Bottle For Protection

A SEA WITCH’S BOTTLE

Take a medium or large jar with a tight-fitting lid and a bag to the ocean very early in the morning, and preferably after High Tide.

Walk on the beach gathering small pieces of driftwood, shells, rocks, and any other natural object which has been thrown up onto the sand by the waves. When you have gathered several things, stop, sit on the beach, and spread them out before you. Please each item in the jar, and as you do repeat the following verse.

"Amulet of the sea which I have found, protective energy in you is bound."

When each piece is placed in the jar add a half-handful of sand and then fill with seawater. Tightly cap and take it home with you. On your property bury the bottle. As you place in the hole repeat the following.

"Waves on sand, the tides in motion; you are now a silent ocean. Avert all evil to the sea; this is my will, so mote it be."

Cover, and return the earth to a normal appearance. If you can’t bury the bottle bury it in a flowerpot instead. The jar will act as a protective device for the home and all those who reside in it.

forsakensnakeskin - Liberation
Liberation

Salem. Agenderflux. Mix of all pronouns and terms. Sapphic aroace and polyam. Poet, horror fan, hermit. Satanist and eclectic polytheist. Azazel. Main blog is thirstyvampyre {I do NOT support racism, Nazis, cultural appropriation, terfs, queerphobia, fascism, or sexism. If I reblog anything that condones any of the above, please let me know. I do not want it on my blog.}
