Enn:On ca Vepar og na
Other names:Vephar
The Forty-second spirit is Vepar, or Vephar. He appears like a mermaid. Vepar is an excellent spirit to evoke if you want to explore your emotions or behaviors prior to making a change. Good for cursing toxic emotions as well. He governs the waters, and to guide ships laden with arms, armour, and ammunition, etc. He can cause the seas to be right stormy and to appear full of ships. If you're in the Navy and you're stuck in a storm, call on him for calm seas, or to wreck the ships of your enemies. He is also the one responsible for making seas to be rough and stormy. . He's also good at intimidating enemy captains by making them think you're stronger than you may really be. Vepar is responsible for naval warfare. He's watches over the supply ships that bring the armor and weapons to troops. Also he makes men to die in three days by putrefying wounds or sores, and causing worms to breed in them. He governs 29 legions of spirits.
⬩Calm storms and cause storms
⬩Explore inner emotions
⬩Protection in the Navy
⬩Ask him what he will work you on⬩
Enn:On ca Vepar og na
Sigil:Posted above
Plant:Mugwort
Incense:Sandalwood
⬩Green candles or objects
⬩Ask Dutchess/Duke Vepar what he likes⬩
⬩It is important to learn protections before trying to work with any spirits. You can get tricksters and parasites if you don't.
Cleansings- cleaning your space of negative energies. You can burn herbs or incense for this.
Banishings- forcing negative energies out of your space. The lesser banishing ritual is one of the most commonly used.
Warding- wards keep negative energy out of your space. Amulets, sigils and talismans do this.
Set up a your space and do a cleanse and banishing. Have wards up in your home. Meditation is to calm yourself and get your mind ready. The sigil (symbol) is what you draw on paper. The enn is what you chant or say to call forth the spirit.⬩

More people die in the first week of the year than any other.
People are most likely to die in the morning, around 11a.m.
Monday is the most common day to suffer a fatal heart attack.

I had never seen this sculpture before until today and I have been obsessed with it all day.
Prompted by Lucifer she takes what rightfully belongs to humanity - the knowledge of good and evil. Not afraid of God’s threats, not ashamed of her nakedness, (that goddam sassy hand on the hip!): it’s as if she’s daring him to do anything about it.
This is not a Fall - this is mankind rising up against the tyranny of servitude and the suppression of sexuality. It’s as if she’s grabbing God by the balls.
In medieval paintings of this theme Eve is either portrayed as innocent (pre-apple incident) or ashamed (post-apple incident). Usually Lucifer is depicted also, coiled around the tree. We don’t see Him here but we know He’s in the background, about to be cursed by a vindictive and controlling tyrant.
But He is here. We see Him in Eve: full of pride, rebellion, power, wisdom, and knowledge; unafraid of death and assured of her future. This is not a Fall. This is freedom.
Hi! Do you have any information on Belphegor?
He’s not a demon from the 72 in the Lemegeton, which can make finding the usual info on him a little tough. Belphegor seems to be a corruption of the name Bael-peor, as a reference to the God of the Moabites. within Numbers, we see him as a God that some Israelites became corrupted by and sacrificed to, and all those who did were sentenced to death.
Hebrew references:
“Your eyes have seen what the LORD has done in the case of Baal-peor, for all the men who followed Baal-peor, the LORD your God has destroyed them from among you.” – Deuteronomy 4:3“They joined themselves also to Baal-peor, And ate sacrifices offered to the dead.” – Psalm 106:27-29“I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your forefathers as the earliest fruit on the fig tree in its first season. But they came to Baal-peor and devoted themselves to shame, and they became as detestable as that which they loved.” – Hosea 9:10
there seems to be a bunch of divides on just what he was to that culture. but according to some of the info and a background in the etymology, we know Bael/Ba’al is Lord or Lord of, and Peor seems to be the name of the mountain. in Moab. there are some references to an entity known as Chemosh as well, but there doesn’t really seem to be a solid connection there.
the information on him as a demon is a little bit hazy and sort of crude, so I can’t honestly say what seems super relevant or not. like, there are people who claim that you better pray while you’re in the bathroom to him, cause your offering is excrement. JewishEncyclopedia covers this as well and basically says that it might just be stigma/ridicule of the worship.

Hi there! So I saw this post and I wanted to ask, how to you view and work with Lord Satan, and how do you differentiate him from Lord/Lady Baphomet? I've always been confused about Satan as a daemon, and never really knew if he was the same as Baphomet or not or how to differentiate them.
I've been wanting to work with Satan as his own deity/daemon for a while now, but never really knew how to go about it.
Really interested to know how you view them both!
~ Many Blessings ~

two reflections of one energy. i'd connect lucifer to this, as well (though keep in mind that this is my personal beliefs, and it's alright and even encouraged to form your own - do what feels right for you first and foremost). they're all connected, not dissimilar to the father/the son/the holy spirit all being apart of the same one deity, but being different aspects of said deity. think of them as like a hydra, having three heads with different faces and different brains, and one body that connects them. the heads are their own identities, while also being the same body that connects one to another. i hope that makes sense, because it makes sense to me.
anyway, another way i personally differentiate satan and baphomet is if satan was red, and lucifer is blue, then baphomet is purple - a peaceful middle ground between the two. additionally, if lucifer is more angelic and satan more demonic, then baphomet is a neutral ground between the two. baphomet is also divinely androgynous, whereas lucifer can be seen as being feminine, satan more masculine (though labelling demons as strictly one or another doesn't really slot neatly into my practice, i need to express that. it works for some people, but not for me).
i'm a little dissociative when writing this, so i hope this makes sense. i just want to express differences in order to help you focus on one or another. but again! it's totally fine to disagree with me and/or form your own belief system regarding this. this is solely just how i view it within my own practice.
see the first post here
wear devotional jewelry (typically a symbol that is associated with them, but can be anything as long as you designate it)
create something with them/for them (poetry, drawings, cook or bake, build something, etc)
research their myths
create playlists for them and listen to those playlists
do you like sandbox games? create a shrine, temple, altar, etc for your deities in those games (like minecraft, terraria, stardew valley, etc)
go on a walk outside and invite them with you
thank them. thank them for anything and everything
take care of yourself as a devotion to them. if you want to specify, you could do this with a deity that is more closely related to self care (my mind immediately goes to Aphrodite or Hera), but any deity would appreciate you taking care of yourself; they love you
set aside a day of the week to be “their” day and spend time with them, give them offerings, etc that day (some deities are associated with days of the week; apollo for sunday, artemis for monday, thor and zeus for thursday, to name a few)
be creative! above all, the gods like to see that you put thought and effort into your worship. it doesn’t have to be grand or expensive to be thoughtful, just heartfelt. may the gods be with you <3
Sea Magic is that which is practiced by the ocean, or using objects related to the ocean or coastline. It has been practiced for hundreds of years, as populations have always resided close by.
The oceans have always been worshipped, feared, revered, and cherished; and many stories of ocean gods, goddesses, sea creatures, and mermaids have been passed down through the generations, adding to the mystery and magic of the Sea.
Today I am sharing a simple spell from Scott Cunningham’s Earth Power, which is used as a protective device.
A SEA WITCH’S BOTTLE
Take a medium or large jar with a tight-fitting lid and a bag to the ocean very early in the morning, and preferably after High Tide.
Walk on the beach gathering small pieces of driftwood, shells, rocks, and any other natural object which has been thrown up onto the sand by the waves. When you have gathered several things, stop, sit on the beach, and spread them out before you. Please each item in the jar, and as you do repeat the following verse.
"Amulet of the sea which I have found, protective energy in you is bound."
When each piece is placed in the jar add a half-handful of sand and then fill with seawater. Tightly cap and take it home with you. On your property bury the bottle. As you place in the hole repeat the following.
"Waves on sand, the tides in motion; you are now a silent ocean. Avert all evil to the sea; this is my will, so mote it be."
Cover, and return the earth to a normal appearance. If you can’t bury the bottle bury it in a flowerpot instead. The jar will act as a protective device for the home and all those who reside in it.
We may believe there's nothing truly evil about those beings, but the narrative of the Yazidi as Devil worshippers is something that directly contributes to them being subjected to genocide. Yes, Melek Taus refused to bow, but he is conceptualized in a very different way than Iblis or Christian Satan. And yet I've seen them equated in LHP books. I've seen Connoly describing the Yazidi as "ancient demonolaters", I guess to show how old her religion is, and completely ignoring how not only disrespectful but physically dangerous this equation is. And yes, actual Devil worshippers shouldn't be murdered as well, but outsiders labeling the Yazidi this way is something that literally kills people so please, just stop.
The Yazidi are NOT Devil worshippers.
“Eve’s ingestion of the forbidden fruit becomes a heroic act of rebellion against the tyranny of God and Adam. This closely parallels how socialists like Mikhail Bakunin (1814–1876) used Satan’s battle with God as a symbol of their fight against a capitalist and monarchist society (God being the ultimate monarch).”

For the bedridden witches who hear the call of the seas.
Burn sea/beach scented candles.
Listen to background sounds like waves or the wind.
Make macrame strands that have glass beads or sea glass in them.
SEA. SALT. Just keep a jar of sea salt around for any of your needs and to feel connected!
Make a simple salt water spray to cleanse your space.
Create an altar/shelf dedicated to the sea.
Keep beach and ocean themed pictures, paintings and postcards around your room.
Make a sand garden.
Hold a glass of water on your hands, and focus on how the water is/has been connected to the ocean.
Create a sideblog for all your ocean needs. Can double as an altar!
Keep a collection of sea shells and invest in a shell field guide!
Watch ocean documentaries.
Keep crystals like opal, quartz, selenite, blue calcite, ocean jasper, and labradorite around.
Create a bottle filled with things that remind you of the ocean. Here’s mine.
Write/read poetry about the sea.
I really like using ocean waves as a way to clear my mind when I need to calm down/start meditating. Use meditation to connect to the ocean!
Hang flowing curtains from the ceiling - light turquoise and white.
Learn about the lore and mythology related around the ocean.
Whisper sweet nothing towards the sea - it doesn’t matter how far away it is!
The moon phases directly interact with the ocean. Keep track of them!
Draw sigils designed to connect you to the ocean.
Get a little fish tank (only if this feels manageable to you of course!) and keep it in your room.
Do seashell divination
Decorate with beach/seaside decor - rustic wood, shells, blown glass, etc.
Connect with any deities of the ocean/sea (for me that includes Amphitrite, Poseidon and Ceto).
Make/wear seashell or pearl jewelry.
Listen to music that makes you feel like you’re standing in front of the ocean.
When it’s windy or downpour rain, allow it to take you to the sea. Feel the raw energy. Open the window a crack if you can!
This is a great resource for some sea witching ideas!

Come, charming Vepar, demon of the seas,
Of enchanting voice, oh siren of old,
Fierce as a storm and gentle as a breeze,
One whose heart is kind yet vengeance ice cold,
One able both to bring and kill disease,
Come, warrior mermaid, terrible yet sweet,
Be our defender, oppressors defeat.
