i. they'll catch you staring at them in a quiet moment, and instead of looking away, they just smile, slow and sure, like they already knew.
ii. they'll let you warm your hands against the back of their neck, laughing at the chill but not pulling away.
iii. they'll need to feel the weight of your presence to remember how to breathe.
iv. they'll be devoted to you, just like church is to god, just like the lamb is to the shepherd, just like faith is to the believer lost in doubt.
v. they'll see the way you close your eyes when the sun hits just right, like it’s a moment just for you, and they'll wonder if they're allowed to share it with you.
vi. they'll look at you when you think they're not watching—from across the room, in the glow of a traffic light, through the blurry reflection of a dirty mirror—like they're afraid to be caught loving you this much (they aren't).
vii. they'll whisper your name like it's the answer to a question they don't know how to ask.
viii. when you write your name on fogged windows, they'll try to read their future in it.
ix. when you're getting ready to go out, they'll wait at the door, keys in hand, watching you tie your shoes, smiling a little, because they love the way you double-knot them.
x. they'll stand behind you when you're looking in the mirror, watching your reflection instead of their own, like they only see themselves in the way you see them.
xi. when you look at them, just for a second, they’ll think it's the first time anyone has ever seen them.

someone TELL ME WHY i have dreams of shifting to my dr LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE NIGHT BUT WAKE UP HERE? LIKE I LITERALLY HAD 3 DREAMS ABT MY S/O AND SHIFTING LAST NIGHT 😭 SOMEONE HELP
okay, i mean it, im shifting tonight \(≧▽≦)/ you guys will too!!
Idk if I've talked about this before, but I saw someone post about why people who have been trying to shift for so long might not be shifting (this might not apply to everyone, but it really clicked with me). They only explained why, so I'm gonna talk about the solution I came up with.
They specifically said that it was not tough love, but psychological facts: it's possible that your mind registers shifting as a goal in THIS reality.
Think about that for a second. This is the part that really got me when I started to think about it. When you are here, in your CR, your goal is to shift, right? So what if our minds interprets that as a goal IN THIS REALITY, as simple as going to bed thinking "oh, I'm going to unload the dishwasher in the morning." Because shifting is just aligning with your DR self, and guess what?? Your goal in your DR is not to shift! That blew up my brain a little bit.
"But i want to shift" you know how everyone keeps saying "you are already in your DR"? I interpreted that for so long as motivation. It's not. It's the process. To align with your DR self, just like aligning with another person in your CR you have to have the same goals.
So your goal is no longer to shift. Stop thinking like that. Your goal IS NOT TO SHIFT. Waking up where you are meant to has never been a goal, but an expectation. Your goal is to wake up and go downstairs to have breakfast with your DR friends or family. Your goal is to wake up and get to class on time to ace that Defence Against The Dark Arts quiz you totally forgot to study for until the night before. Your goal is to wake up and win that Oscar, to break that curse, destroy the One Ring, you fucking name it babes.
I don't know if this is really dumb and obvious, but it wasn't for me before, so I really hope this post helps someone else too.

Focus on your internal experience. That is what matters. That is what shifts. Think as your DR self and no one else. If you enter the mental state of your DR self you will enter the physical state of your DRself.
It's ok if you don't feel it yet, it's ok if you hear a sound from your CR, it's ok if you can feel your old bedroom still. It's OK.
Shifting is not a physical process. Your physical body is not what's shifting between realities, your awareness is. Your sight, hearing, taste, feeling, etc, are all a part of your physical body.
What the nerves in your body are experiencing doesn't matter because you are not the nerves, you are not the body, you are the awareness. Your body isn't trying to shift, your mind is.
You are trying to become aware of another reality and therefore what you are experiencing in this one is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what this body experiences it matters what your awareness is experiencing.
Shifting is internal focus on shifting internally.

If you are sitting down and thinking to yourself about everything see, hear, feel, smell, or taste from your CR, then you are LITERALLY applying the 5 senses method to your CR.
If your method is mainly affirming, so repeating to yourself that you're there, WHAT do you think is happening when you keep telling yourself you're not there? Everything you say is an affirmation. It's not that methods aren't working it's that you are literally applying them in reverse.
It doesn't matter what your senses are telling you because you will shift before they do. It doesn't mean anything unless you tell yourself that it does.
If your senses do not match your mental state stay in the mental state until they do. Do not compromise with shit you don't want.
STAY in the mind of your DRself. That's your only job. Continue to think as if you're there. Continue to think about your life in your DR, continue to occupy the mind of your DRself.
This is what so many people get stuck on. I don't expect you to magically stop experiencing it, it is ok that you felt it. All you have to do is continue to think as if you are in your DR anyway.
Your subconscious will believe what you tell it over what your body is experiencing. Your only goal is to keep telling it that you're in your DR.
Yes you might have heard a loud noise and yes you know it's not from your DR. That doesn't matter. The goal is not to magically un-hear it but to avoid returning to the mental state of your CR self.
It is ok if you can't make yourself believe you're there, you just have to think to yourself as if you are. Think as DR you and no one else.
Essentially, you shift mentally before you feel it physically. Before you experience your desired reality externally you experience it internally.

Many of you might hate to hear this but the reason why you guys are not shifting is because You make it seem so difficult. You don't need to do methods,reprogram your mind, or listen to subliminals. These are a helping hand not the key to shifting. If you don't feel like doing those then don't. YOU ARE THE KEY TO SHIFTING. For fuck sake u can go and say a few affirmations and then roll over and visualize/do scenarios untill you fall asleep.
It is not that difficult. Stop making it so difficult and go shift.

things that won't stop you from shifting
꒰ putting your dr on a pedestal , does not exist. it is not some glass castle suspended in the ether. it is a place like any other, as accessible as a room you haven’t walked into yet.
꒰ fantasising about your dr , does not matter. your brain is not a courtroom and you are not on trial for thought crimes. imagining a place does not exile you from it.
꒰ not knowing everything about your dr , won't impact. you do not need to be a historian of your own life. you do not need to have memorised the census records and economic structures of a world you are simply in.
꒰ being too attached to your dr , does not ruin it. urgency does not dismantle possibility. the sky does not fold in on itself every time someone desperately wants rain.
꒰ not being "calm enough" , no one is breathing monkishly through their nose 24/7. you are not required to be an unmoved river stone. people shift after a long day at work. people shift mid-existential crisis. it is not yoga, it is not meditation, it is a thing that happens when it happens.
꒰ doubting yourself from time to time , irrelevant. you do not need to pass a faith test. you do not need to be baptised in unwavering conviction. you just need to assume. doubt is a background noise, not a locked door.
꒰ external validation , unnecessary. your reality is not waiting for someone else to confirm its legitimacy. you do not need a jury of peers nodding solemnly at your experiences. this is not an academic dissertation. you do not need footnotes and sources and a professor’s approval.
꒰ "trying too hard" , not a thing. effort does not push it further away. want does not make it shy away. this is not an uncatchable fish. this is not a paradox where wanting something too much means you will never have it.
꒰ failing to shift multiple times , irrelevant. past attempts do not predict future outcomes. you are not an athlete counting losses. you are not a gambler on a losing streak. every attempt is new. every moment is unburdened by the weight of the last one.
꒰ an inconsistent sleep schedule , doesn’t matter. you are not being graded on your circadian rhythm. shifting does not belong exclusively to people with 8 hours of uninterrupted rem.
꒰ using multiple shifting methods , neutral. you are not hexing yourself by switching it up. they are not magic spells, they are just tools. they are ways to organise your approach, not laws of the universe.
꒰ shifting while sick or in pain , possible. you do not need to be in peak physical condition. you are not signing up for a marathon, you are existing. bodies exist in all states. you are allowed to exist in all states.
꒰ not “feeling close” to shifting , doesn’t mean anything. shifting is not a feeling to be unlocked. you do not need to sense it coming like a change in the weather. it does not always announce itself.
꒰ having trouble visualising , won’t stop you. not everyone sees things like a movie in their head. imagination is not just images. it’s thoughts, impressions, instincts. a blind person can shift. a person with aphantasia can shift.
꒰ not affirming constantly , does not matter. you do not need to chant like a monk or plead sweet nothings into the void 24/7.
꒰ being distracted mid-shifting attempt , not fatal. you are not required to have monk-like focus. people shift thinking about their homework. people shift thinking about dinner. people shift thinking about absolutely nothing at all.
꒰ not having a specific shifting method , does not stop you. people shift lying down. people shift sitting up. people shift standing. people shift in moving cars. you do not need a formula to do something natural.
‧₊˚ ⋅ I love how natural and easy shifting is. All I need is my intention; no methods, no subliminals, no affirmations. Shifting is literally so simple. I love waking up in my chosen reality every day. ౨ৎ ‧₊ .ᐟ

The thing you don't seem to grasp, is that you already exist in your chosen realities. You were born there, you grew up there, you formed core memories and have thousands of stories to tell... You have lived with your family for years and you have known your friends for years and you have most likely already met your S/O. You have eaten all of your favourite foods and went to most of your favourite places. You have fallen down and scraped your knee, you have gotten a bad haircut that you regretted immensely, you have gotten into a fight with your best friend and made up almost immediately... You have already lived there. Why are you looking forward to something as mundane as waking up in the same bed you've woken up in for years now?
Live in the end and stop hoping to shift. You're already there, direct your awareness towards the reality of your choosing, and let your pure consciousness do the rest. Act as if you're there. Think like your DR self, act like your DR self, talk and walk and eat like your DR self because they are you and you are them. There is no divide, no disconnect, no separation.
