Focus on your internal experience. That is what matters. That is what shifts. Think as your DR self and no one else. If you enter the mental state of your DR self you will enter the physical state of your DRself.
It's ok if you don't feel it yet, it's ok if you hear a sound from your CR, it's ok if you can feel your old bedroom still. It's OK.
Shifting is not a physical process. Your physical body is not what's shifting between realities, your awareness is. Your sight, hearing, taste, feeling, etc, are all a part of your physical body.
What the nerves in your body are experiencing doesn't matter because you are not the nerves, you are not the body, you are the awareness. Your body isn't trying to shift, your mind is.
You are trying to become aware of another reality and therefore what you are experiencing in this one is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what this body experiences it matters what your awareness is experiencing.
Shifting is internal focus on shifting internally.

If you are sitting down and thinking to yourself about everything see, hear, feel, smell, or taste from your CR, then you are LITERALLY applying the 5 senses method to your CR.
If your method is mainly affirming, so repeating to yourself that you're there, WHAT do you think is happening when you keep telling yourself you're not there? Everything you say is an affirmation. It's not that methods aren't working it's that you are literally applying them in reverse.
It doesn't matter what your senses are telling you because you will shift before they do. It doesn't mean anything unless you tell yourself that it does.
If your senses do not match your mental state stay in the mental state until they do. Do not compromise with shit you don't want.
STAY in the mind of your DRself. That's your only job. Continue to think as if you're there. Continue to think about your life in your DR, continue to occupy the mind of your DRself.
This is what so many people get stuck on. I don't expect you to magically stop experiencing it, it is ok that you felt it. All you have to do is continue to think as if you are in your DR anyway.
Your subconscious will believe what you tell it over what your body is experiencing. Your only goal is to keep telling it that you're in your DR.
Yes you might have heard a loud noise and yes you know it's not from your DR. That doesn't matter. The goal is not to magically un-hear it but to avoid returning to the mental state of your CR self.
It is ok if you can't make yourself believe you're there, you just have to think to yourself as if you are. Think as DR you and no one else.
Essentially, you shift mentally before you feel it physically. Before you experience your desired reality externally you experience it internally.

one day, you’ll celebrate your birthdays over there, and your wishes may turn softer, more resigned—no longer the desperate wishes you make now. these weeks of struggle will be no more than a fleeting thought, something you’ll brush off with a small giggle, then bury back in the deepest, dustiest shelves of your mind. you’ll look back at the nights you spent wondering if this was it, and you’ll laugh, and laugh, and laugh—a hollow but somehow full sound, at how little you knew then.
ngl im so proud of myself and my shifting journey recently, I don’t pressure myself to shift anymore, I don’t force myself to script or meditate. I really just go with the flow and do what I feel like in the moment.
shifting shouldn’t feel like a chore and that’s the biggest thing you need to know.
another thing is there shouldn’t be any disappointment after a “failed” shift. You HAVE shifted. you ARE in your chosen reality. So own that.
Why be negative and tell yourself you haven’t shifted!? when you really can tell yourself you have and control this reality as well.
you can feel lost and still make progress.
feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re failing. feeling lost doesn’t mean you’re not moving forward. if anything, it’s proof that you’re growing.
that uncertainty? that frustration? that feeling like nothing is happening? that’s what happens when you’re pushing past old limits. your mind is adjusting, your beliefs are shifting, and your awareness is expanding—even if it doesn’t feel like it yet.
growth isn’t always obvious. when you’re manifesting something like shifting, a lot of invisible factors are going to weigh in but feeling lost and still choosing to keep going is what pushes you forward.
so keep trying. the progress is already happening.
frustration and annoyance
when i decided to take some time to work on myself and my shifting journey i thought i would become more spiritual, connect to my higher self and that i would find some mythical peace. last night i could not sleep and was the most annoyed i’ve been in a long time, but it allowed me to change my perspective. i used to think that what’s ment for me will find me, that it will all happen naturally and i don’t need to do anything - just be, i’m not saying that those things are wrong, but i’m sick of waiting for things i want to find me, i know where they are so i’m taking it myself. i’m done waiting and trying - i’m getting in my dr now and that’s it, i don’t give a fuck how, i’m getting there now and there’s no other option. i used to say i’m shifting soon, but there’s no soon there’s just now, it’s not even now or never - it’s just now.

shifting works largely on belief. "i think, therefore i am" is a mantra that dismantles doubts and reinforces your ability to shift.
— A. THINKING IS BELIEVING. when you shift, the most important mindset is to believe in your dr as real and attainable. doubt anchors you to your current reality (cr), but thought and belief can transport you.
⋆ IF YOU THINK YOU'RE IN YOUR DR, YOU ARE : by focusing your thoughts and immersing yourself in the experience, you align with the energy of that reality.
⋆ AFFIRMATIONS : every time you think about your dr—imagining its details, feeling its emotions—you strengthen its existence. "i think, therefore i am" becomes "i think of my dr, therefore i am in my dr."
— B. YOUR DR ALREADY EXIST. in quantum theories and metaphysics, all realities exist simultaneously, and your consciousness determines which one you inhabit. thinking about a specific dr is like tuning into a radio station—you don’t create the station; you simply align with its frequency.
⋆ CARTESIAN CLARITY : if your thought of the dr exists, the dr must exist. by thinking about it, you prove it’s possible.
⋆ SHIFTING AS NAVIGATION : your thoughts are like coordinates, pointing your consciousness to the dr.

⋆ REDIRECT THE DOUBT : instead of "what if i can’t shift?" (if you still think like that, i will SLAP you (i'm joking (not.))) think "i’m aware of my doubt, which means i’m conscious, which means i can direct that consciousness elsewhere."
— B. EMBRACE THE POWER OF CHOISE. descartes argued that thought is evidence of free will. if you’re thinking about shifting, you’re already exercising that will. use it to choose to shift.
— A. MULTIVERSE THEORY MEETS DESCARTES. in a multiverse, infinite realities coexist. thinking of one dr is like opening a door to it. descartes gives you the confidence to step through by asserting that thought is all the proof you need.
— B. YOUR CR VS YOUR DR. the line between your cr and dr is only as real as you allow it to be.

in the end, shifting is less about "leaving" one place and more about realising you already are wherever your thoughts take you.

Shifting diary entry #2
I was meaning to make a post sooner these last couple of weeks but I was feeling lazy and forgetful. Anyways, I’m finally writing something now.
Today I was feeling pretty tired and my sister and I took a nap. I decided to use my headphones and play a subliminal. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was planning to do, but I didn’t really care about that. I just started to relax and kept affirming “I Am” I’m not really sure if I affirmed anything else though, this whole thing is kinda fuzzy to me. Along with affirming I kept my body still and tried really hard to not move at all so my body would fall asleep and I would stay awake.
I feel like I was just constantly drifting in and out of consciousness. And then at one point I felt really floaty and heavy at the same time and I don’t remember hearing my subliminal any more. I’m not really sure if this was the void state or not, but I do know that at that point I wasn’t even thinking of shifting, instead I was trying to get myself to lucid dream. I can’t really recall if I did lucid dream or not but I do know I had a really vivid dream (unrelated to anything regarding shifting) and then I felt that I needed to wake up from my nap so I did. I thought my sister and I had overslept because it felt like I was meditating for hours, but when I checked my phone I was only doing all this for 30 minutes…
I’m not sure if I will meditate again tonight or not. I think I need to figure out how to remember I even want to shift? Idk, but that’s all for now!
THE TARNISHED COMPACT MIRROR, THE WAX SEAL AND THE MAP.

SO, WHAT DOES IT MEAN? this is the artefact of self-perception. if asking, “who am i in this moment?” and not trusting the answer. shifting is your MO (master opus, obviously), but this mirror is here to remind you: even when you’re mastering realities, you are the through-line. the cracks in the glass is the self you’ve shed in every DR, your multidimensional fingerprints. but be warned: this mirror doesn’t just show you—it shows the version of you others see, too. every smile, every shadow, every flicker of their perspective. it’s asking: are you as fluid as you think, or are you just trying on new faces to escape the old ones?
in your journey, this object suggests a phase of intense self-reflection. maybe you’re realising that even as you leap dimensions, there’s a “you” who stays constant. or maybe you’re questioning whether the roles you’ve played were ever really yours. either way, this mirror says: own the cracks—they’re your history, your kaleidoscope.

SO, WHAT DOES IT MEAN? this object is all about potential. it’s an artefact of the unsaid, the unclaimed, the could-have-beens. it’s asking: what are you waiting to mark as your own? shifting is the art of writing yourself into stories, but maybe you’ve been forgetting to sign your name at the end. this blank seal is your reminder that you are the creator of your journey—your identity isn’t a pre-set engraving; it’s something you carve anew every time you shift.
the wax is your legacy—the parts of you that already exist in every DR you’ve touched. even if you haven’t seen it, your presence is felt. maybe you’ve been second-guessing whether you’re leaving a mark or just slipping through realities like a shadow. the seal says: even without a design, you’re sealing the deal. your intentions are enough.
this object speaks to a moment where you’re on the verge of something big, but you’re hesitating. maybe you’re wondering if you’re ready, or maybe you’re holding out for a “perfect” moment. the truth is, the seal doesn’t need engraving—it’s what you choose to imprint that matters.

it’s soft in your hands, the kind of paper that’s been unfolded and refolded a thousand times. there are stains on it—coffee rings, maybe tears. the ink is fading, but the routes are still clear: zig-zagging lines, X’s marking spots, little hand-drawn symbols that mean nothing to anyone but the original cartographer.
SO, WHAT DOES IT MEAN? this is the artefact of guidance and exploration. the map isn’t just a tool; it’s a record of journeys past. it’s been used, loved, and abandoned—but never destroyed. and it’s showing you one thing: you’re not lost—you’re exactly where you need to be.
the X’s are goals you’ve already hit, DRs you’ve already conquered. the stains are the messy parts of the journey—the nights you stayed awake scripting, the mornings you woke up and didn’t feel “there” yet. but the beauty of this map is that it’s a living document. the roads change as you change, and the hand-drawn symbols, those are little pieces of you left behind in every reality.
this object says your journey is not linear—it’s a spiral, looping back to places you thought you’d left behind. maybe you’re revisiting old DRs, or maybe you’re realising that every shift is connected, even if the roads look different. the map is urging you to trust the process—what looks like a dead end might just be a fold waiting to be smoothed out.
