I realize Saitama's hero suit has sentimental value to him, but if you were to redesign it, what changes would you make?

In reality, I would not change my Saitama’s costume at all. 

Back when he was just my sensei, he told me the story of how he came to own such a costume, and how important it is to him. Therefore I would not change it.

However, hypothetically, I would make several changes.

In General: 

I would use modern stretch textiles in order to allow him greater ease of movement whilst also reducing bagging, which presently leads to snags and tears and necessitates repairs.

Front:

At the front of the costume, I would install a ‘window’ at the chest, to allow better airflow between my Saitama’s body and the fabric itself. It will allow him to feel the cool breeze against his chest, which will make him more comfortable when he becomes sweaty with exertion. 

Next, I would remove the legs of the costume. Saitama often eats lunch whilst on patrol, and has a habit of spilling things on his thighs. If there is nothing on his thighs to spill food on, he will avoid stains. 

To compensate for the lack of leg in his costume, I would exchange his current boots for thigh-high boots made of a particular extremely stretchy leather-look textile that Dr Kuseno has developed (presently it is only available in black, though I’m sure Dr Kuseno can make it in red). 

The robustness of this textile lowers the risk of tears and friction-related wear. 

Back:

The back of my Saitama’s costume would, effectively, be absent from shoulders to just below the waist. Saitama’s cloak covers this area most of the time, so an absence of costume immediately against his back means we can economise on fabric usage. The bareness would allow him better ease of movement and reduce overheating during the warmer months.

In Summary:

Short, tight, and revealing efficient.

First off their interactions are funny (and if a ship can’t be funny I generally don’t care about it) but they’re not without the possibility for serious depth between them, like when they talked about Saitama’s loneliness and goals for the future

Also I find their history of Saitama saving King before either of them were pro heroes to be romantic..little did they know…….. 

I feel like King’s the character that understands Saitama best out of everyone (and obviously Sai is the same about King with knowing his secret) like he respects and admires Sai’s strength without putting him on a pedestal, and he recognizes Sai’s faults without losing respect for him. King knows where they both are in the world and what Saitama can do but they’re still able to be friends and have fun together

when I saw it I thought “what since when is he enthusiastic” and maybe it’s just an off translation but also.. maybe.. he’s enthusiastic when he’s around king so king’s impression of him is an upbeat guy.. cause   hes happy around king))

and while I know totally well none of this is like “so they MUST be dating” this is all stuff I really like in ships! I like characters who enjoy each others company and make each other better people by being together.. sai’s getting out of his comfort zone with king and king is becoming braver with sai’s support.. I love it

their canon relationship makes a really good setup for a slow burn thing yknow.. it’s not like it’ll happen but if it DID it could feel really natural. and for impatient people like me there’s always sudden friends w benefits developments for fic stuff.

Speaking of fic, I also just really like writing for king, and I’m a fandom bicycle type of person so saitama has to be there, so I naturally really like writing kingtama even if I wasn’t as into the ship as I am. lol

Dancing Through Life isn’t just a fun, catchy song in the middle of act one. It’s an exploration of Fiyero’s deep seeded depression and apathy. And it shows how isolated and desperate for companionship he really is.

During Fiyeros introductory song Dancing Through Life we get introduced to his character. He’s a playboy, rule breaker, and above all else, superficial. Now Fiyero REALLY wants us to know how superficial he is and he also REALLY wants his fellow students at Shiz to be as superficial as he is, but he never explains why.

Well if you read in-between the lines, it’s a shockingly depressing reason. He wants people to be superficial and empty because it the only way he can relate to and befriend them.

He’s been conditioned his whole life to only be surface levelled and shallow, so much so that when it comes to real, authentic social relationships he has genuinely nothing to offer

He has no interests, no ambitions, and no opinions. So much so that until Elphaba snaps him out of it, he really has no other quality’s other than beings empty. Like genuinely none.

So instead of admitting that he is uninteresting and socially inept, he tires to get everyone around him to be as shallow as he is. If EVERYONE is empty and hollow, then that means he doesn’t have to grow or change. He can stay comfortable and brainless.
