The main advantage of bifurcated garments is they make it easier to ride horses. But Western men wear pants so women wearing pants has become ~the universal symbol of gender equality~)

The book I’m reading literally just had its medievalesque heroine declare that peasant women wear breeches to work in the field because “You can’t swing a scythe in a skirt!”

If I had a nickel for every time I shipped:

a white themed blindfolded man trying to save the world in his own small way, with incredibly powerful abilities that involve sensing evil spirits without actually seeing them with his own biological eyes, who has a strong sense of morality but is also a little fucked up in his own way

and

a black themed mass murderer man doing his own twisted version of "justice" after tragic events in his childhood broke him, with incredibly powerful abilities that involve controlling evil spirits to do his bidding, who could change, maybe even wants to, maybe even would have, but is held back by an unbelievable amount of cognitive dissonance

I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
