Hello, I'm hamdi 🇵🇸 After 100 days of displacement, my family and I found ourself forced to leave our home and land in Gaza. 🏡💔 The journey to Egypt was not a choice, but a necessity imposed by the harsh conditions. we crossed the border, carrying with us scattered dreams and hopes for a better life, but we quickly realized that displacement was not the end of the suffering, but the beginning of a new chapter.

In Egypt, we are stuck between a bitter alienation and a painful reality. 😔🚧 We do not have residency, which makes every step difficult and every day full of challenges. Prices in Egypt resources are unforgiving, and the ones we brought with us are quickly melting away. 💸 While we try to endure and survive, our hearts remain attached to Gaza; The homeland that never leaves our minds or leaves us for a moment. 🇵🇸💔 Our loved ones there live under siege, and we live under the burden of alienation and worry for them. Every day in Egypt feels like an endless wait, and every contact with Gaza opens a door to pain. 📞💔 Returning to Gaza did not alleviate the anxiety, but rather confirmed to me that the suffering continues, whether we are inside or outside.

We may still have 300 days to reach the “goal” that we do not yet know, but until then, we will continue to face the challenges of life with patience and strength, waiting for the day when safety and stability return to us and our loved ones. 🍉🌈🤲 Donate now: In these difficult times, every donation makes a difference. My Journey Escaping the War in Gaza

My name is Musab. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I’m one of the survivors of the war here, and in a moment, I lost everything — my home, my safety, and my community. 🏚️💔

I’m a father to three young daughters: twin girls, Alaa and Lama, who are 4 years old, and my eldest, Lina, who is 6. 👧👧👧 Lama had to undergo surgery after being injured in an airstrike — she now has metal plates in her arm. We don't even have bread to eat, and when we do find it, the prices are impossibly high. 🍞❌💸

The war has turned Gaza into rubble. Everything is destroyed. No safety. No stability. No hope. 🕊️💣🏚️ Food and clean water have become luxuries. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and medicine is nearly nonexistent. 🚫💊🚑

I am also injured — my shoulder was severely damaged, and I had surgery, but I still need a second operation. The pain is constant, but the greatest pain is seeing my children hungry and afraid. 🤕❤️‍🩹😢

Escaping Gaza is my only hope, but I can’t do it alone. The cost of evacuation is overwhelming, and I simply can’t afford it. I write to you now with hope that my words will reach a compassionate heart. 🙏🌍

I’m not asking for much — just a chance at life for me and my children. A chance to escape fear and destruction, and to begin again in a safe place. So uhhh, update on my novel.

DRAFT 1 IS DOWN! After 8 months it is done. The first draft for Tides of Change has finally been completed.

I am so excited, this does not feel real lol.

Is it good? No. Did I decide to change my magic system 3/4 of the way through the draft? Yes. Did I still push through and finish the draft? YES!

I am so excited. Thankfully my magic system change isn’t too major (well, it is major but it’s not an entirely new magic system so it could be worse).

For any other writers out there, you can complete that draft! This is only the third full draft I have ever completed in my life. The first I wrote when I was 11 (we do not speak of that one), the other is for a Star Wars fanfic, and now Tides of Change.

I know there is a lot of work left to do but this is a huge deal for me and I am very happy.

This pain will end one day, and I believe in that. We are going through great hardships, but hope has always been in my heart. The freedom for Palestine is now closer than ever🥹🇵🇸

Stimming violently and loudly

Hitting yourself

Vocal stimming loudly

Being higher support needs

Being higher support needs and a POC

Being intellectually disabled with autism

And so much more. I shout-out anyone who are these things or do these things. You are amazing.

“In the past, my life was simple and peaceful, filled with love and safety. We were a family that lived together happily, sharing dreams and laughter. I never imagined that one day just dreaming of peace would feel like a luxury, and just surviving another day would become an achievement.

Today, I’m Mai, standing here with a broken heart. My mother is sick, and we don’t have the resources to help her. I am also unwell, but I have to be strong because my mother and brother need me. My older brother is badly injured—he used to be so strong and full of hope for the future, and now he needs someone to stand by him.
