But I finally got this fic posted in time for this year’s Hunter’s Moon! I was stressing myself over editing this fic again.

Hello!

So, I have been hyperfixating on Beetlejuice and School of Rock for the past couple of weeks and I really want to write something.

Both of these fandoms are incredibly comforting to me and I would like to do something revolving around them. I’ve seen both movies and I am watching Beetlejuice the Animated series currently. I’ve listened to the musicals more times than I can count!

I, however, don’t have access to watching the musicals. Does anyone have access or a link to the full Beetlejuice Musical and the full School of Rock musical?

I want to make sure that I watch the full musicals before I write anything because I don’t think just listening to the album and reading the Wikipedia pages are doing the musicals justice.

I would like to please request a dhawan!master x reader request where the Master has to go and do something dangerous but he doesn’t want you going with them, they need to make it so you stay in the TARDIS. (Maybe the Master has tried to hypnotise the reader and the reader has said something like “I know what you’ll do if I look into your eyes.”) Maybe he could trick the reader into being hypnotised or use another method to keep the reader safe. I have had it finished for a bit now, but I had multiple anxiety attacks through the editing process on top of everyday executive dysfunction. Okay, so I love Tolkien’s works. I grew up with them! My dad loved Tolkien and read me his works when I was a kid. But now I have a really hard time reading the books on my own, probably because I have ADHD and I can’t concentrate on anything.

But anyway, I constantly imagine Eddie Munson completely understanding my difficulty with concentrating on things, because I think that he also has ADHD. And he would totally help me with reading Tolkien’s works. 

I love imagining being curled up together in a massive blanket in our underwear or pyjamas(boxers and a t-shirt) and reading Tolkien together. Or even Eddie reading to me!!!

He would make up unique voices and mannerisms for each of the characters! He would definitely make The Silmarillion more interesting because I really struggle to get through that one! 

Later, Eddie would probably act out the scenes, eventually getting me to join him. There would probably be tons of inside jokes between me and him about Tolkien and the way he, and eventually me, acted some of the characters out and the voices we would do.

Ugh! I just want this sooo badly!

Shower Detox

Eddie Munson x Reader

Summary - Eddie and the Reader comfort each other after their time in The Upside Down

Warnings - nonsexual nakedness, mentions of the events of season 4

Word Count - 1149

A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested. Just some hurt/comfort and fluff. This can take place after the events of episode 7 or episode 9. I’m just hoping that Eddie doesn’t die in season 4 part 2

The remains of the soap slipped down your back. You had been in the shower for a while now, trying desperately to scrub off any evidence of The Upside Down from your body. You probably rubbed parts of your skin raw, but you didn’t want to remember that place. You knew that in the back of your head that doing this wouldn’t get rid of your memories from there, but you could try.

You stayed in the shower for a bit longer, allowing the warm water to crash onto your head and run down your face. It was almost meditative. Something about feeling the water drops run down your body finally allowed you to feel a feeling close to relaxation. But no matter how much you tried to reach a peaceful mindset, an image of The Upside Down would always flash across your mind. 

You hung your head lower and closed your eyes, fully letting the water crash down upon your head. You hoped that the water might take away the countless images that remained in your brain, no matter how foolish that hope probably was. Suddenly you felt two arms curl around your waist and another rush of fear and paranoia ran through your body.

“It’s alright. It’s just me.” Eddie whispered into your neck while keeping his arms firmly around your middle in an attempt to keep you steady on your feet. Of course, he also just needed to hold you.

“Eddie? What are you doing?”

“I missed you. It was too lonely in your room without you there with me.” 

“You’re still wearing your clothes.”

“It’s fine. They need a wash. They reek of … that place.” You winced upon recalling The Upside Down, once again. You were pretty sure Eddie noticed, too. He rubbed his hands up and down your sides as he kissed the space between your shoulder blades.

“Want to stay here with me?” You turned slightly in order to catch a glimpse of the metalhead, who was currently nuzzling into your shoulder. He needed you and you needed him right now.

“Yes, please.” You turned in Eddie’s arms and smiled at him bittersweetly. Eddie returned the same bittersweet smile. You pulled on the bottom hem of his shirt to silently ask if you could help him remove his clothes. Eddie nodded to your request, a tiny smirk sneaking past the sadness heavily written on his face. You removed Eddie’s leather jacket, then peeled his semi wet hellfire club shirt over his head. You bent down to untie Eddie’s shoes and removed them from his feet, along with his socks. Finally, you removed Eddie’s pants and underwear, holding his hand while helping him step out of the clothing. Both of you threw all of Eddie’s Upside Down covered clothes to one side of the tub before you and Eddie shuffled to huddle together under the showerhead.

You brushed away some of Eddie’s now wet hair from his face. You could see in his eyes that he was finally breaking down. First Chrissy died before his eyes. Then he had to run from everyone and to endure being blamed for everything happening with the deaths in the town. Then all of you got trapped in The Upside Down. Eddie didn’t have any time to process these events before, but now he did. 

Eddie’s eyes welled up with tears and his face contorted in pain and fear and sadness before he finally collapsed onto you. You immediately wrapped your arms tightly around him. You tried your best to comfort the person you cared about the most, but you were hurting too. You broke down crying into Eddie’s shoulder and his arms tighten their grip around your torso. 

Neither of you knew how long the two of you stayed holding each other while crying out your frustration and fear, but it was long enough for the water to grow ice cold. The two of you finally parted, but Eddie still needed to shower. You were going to leave the bathtub, but Eddie stopped you before you could.

“Can you stay in the bathroom, at least?” You nodded in silent agreement.

You tiptoed out of the shower and wrapped up in a couple of towels before sitting on the toilet seat. You looked up at Eddie, who left shower curtain open, completely not caring about all of the water that splashed onto the floor. He showered quickly because of the temperature of the water, but covered himself in shampoo and soap, like you had. It was clear that he was trying to scrub away the debris and the memories of The Upside Down.

Eddie shut off the shower and stepped out to the tub, not caring enough to remove his Upside Down covered clothes at this moment. Eddie also didn’t care about a towel as he just walked out of the shower and grabbed your hand to pull you back to your room. Thankfully, your parents were out of town, otherwise they would have protested the two of you walking around naked together, let alone allowing a suspected murderer into your house.

You were pretty dry already, but Eddie insisted on the two of you drying each other. Eddie took one of the towels you had wrapped around yourself and wrapped it around his shoulders. You took another towel and plopped it on his head, causing him to giggle. Eddie grabbed the ends of the towel around your body and insisted that you do the same to his towel. Eddie began to pull the towel back and forth rapidly, like in a cartoon or a movie. You assumed that Eddie was trying to distract you from everything that happened and it was working. You did the same to Eddie, causing him to laugh, too. It was good to hear his laugh again.

When the two of you dried off, Eddie gave you one of his old Corroded Coffin shirts to wear that he had brought with him to your house. Eddie got dressed in a pair of boxer shorts, but chose to stay shirtless.

You and Eddie crawled into your bed and quickly curled up under your blankets. It was warming up now by this time of year in Indiana, but it could still be quite chilly at night. Eddie pulled you tightly against his chest and nuzzled his face into your neck, he loved smelling the mix of your scent and his. It always managed to calm him down. 

You could feel the dampness of Eddie’s hair, but you didn’t care enough about the fact that he was also getting your bed wet to do anything to remove yourself from Eddie’s arms. You just wanted to hold him, and he just wanted to hold you. Eventually, the two of you fell asleep holding onto each other tightly and braving the memories of The Upside Down together.

Waking Up Beside The Two Of You

Edward Teach x Reader x Stede Bonnet

Summary - The Reader wakes up in the arms of their boyfriends.

A calming purple cloud swam around your head as you rode on the back of a dolphin through the sky. You were dreaming, you knew that, but you didn’t want this fantastical fiction to end. Though, you did wonder what was going on around your sleep-ridden form. 

A few voices drifted in and out of your ears. It was Ed and Stede. You could tell that it was them even in your dreamy state. Conversations about pirates and plans were being had by the voices, causing the dreamworld you were in to shift to a fanciful version of the pirate life. Just you, Stede and Ed sailing a flying ship through the purple clouds. Occasionally, one of you would pull the other into each other's arms and dance and kiss on the deck while sailing to your next adventure. 

Some sunspots began to shine through your dream and some of your partner’s conversations began to echo in your mind more clearly. You knew that you were beginning to wake up now. 

“What if we created a multi-barrel cannon? Multiple barrels for multiple shots meaning more damage.” Ed gestured. 

“Revolutionary!” Stede whisper-shouted slightly louder than he and Ed had wished.

“Shush! Don’t wake them up, man!”

Despite Ed’s statement, you stirred. Most of your dream world disappeared into the darkness, but the images of your boyfriends remained in your mind. With your eyes still closed, your arms stretched out into the air, and you felt a hand on each arm caressing your skin.

“Good morning, dear.” Stede welcomed you as soon as you opened your eyes.

“Mornin’, love!” Ed winked at you before continuing to speak.

“Finally joined us in the world of the awakened, I see.”

“Good morning Blackbeard and The Gentleman Pirate.” You often teased them with their pirate names, especially as cheeky morning hellos and nighttime goodnights.

“Did you sleep well?” Stede asked genuinely.

“I had very interesting and pleasant dreams. What about you two?”

“We were just planning out some brand new weapons.” Stede was very excited, more than usual one might argue.

“Well … I don’t know if it’s new, but it will scare the life outta our enemies, I’d say!” 

“You must tell me what you are planning!” 

“After breakfast you two. We have to be all ship shape … ahhhh … before we get to the pirating.” Stede lept out of bed excitedly while you and Ed shared a jokingly-annoyed look about Stede’s horrible pun. The three of you, once fully out of bed, then ventured over to Stede’s secret wardrobe in order to get dressed before enjoying your breakfast and morning together.

That is so cool!!! I really don’t know why I don’t remember this. It sounds like something I would remember.

I was looking up the language of flowers for an upcoming fic I am writing and I found this on Wikipedia …

“In J. K. Rowling’s 1997 novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Professor Severus Snape uses the language of flowers to express regret and mourning for the death of Lily Potter, his childhood friend and Harry Potter’s mother, according to Pottermore.”

Why do I not remember this? Is this true?

If it is true, part of me wants to reference this in my fic.
