Had a shocking revelation last night, maybe this insight will help somebody else. I don't know how to ask for what I want. It seems so silly and ridiculous in my head, just use your words just ask for what you want. I think it's been so beaten into me time and time again that what I want comes second to everybody else in my life. The world has often required me to be stronger than I am, and to make up for it I tell myself I don't need or want anything. To want is to burden another person with the expectation of fulfilling that want, and that's selfish and wrong no matter how small of a task it is. But maybe I'm past the point of needing to be strong. I think I might be the only one still fighting, and at this point I'm only fighting myself. I need to start asking for what I want, and trusting the people around me to fulfill that desire.
Attack of the Meth Gator (2023) Movie Review

Let me start this off by saying I'm reviewing this movie as a "so bad it's good" kind of movie. Going into this my first thought was that I'd be watching a knock off Cocaine Bear. That is not the case and I'd argue that I enjoyed Meth Gator more than Cocaine Bear. It has unique characters, absurd plot points, gore, funny moments, and all in all keeps you entertained with a good mix of everything! The only negatives that I find within this movie is the acting is rather stiff at points, and the female character who is suppose to be a badass doesn't really live up to her "strong woman" identity. Meth Gator is a good silly movie to throw on if you're looking for something ridiculous to watch!
Suspiria (2018) Movie Review

The 2018 remake of Suspiria is in and of itself a decent horror movie that, on one hand succeeds its original in areas, but also falls short in areas on the other hand. The plot is interesting while being relatively easy to follow (comparatively to the the original) and there are a few gnarly gore scenes. However if you're looking for the magical set design and charming horror of the original Suspiria, you will not find it here as this remake takes a rather edgier approach to its narrative (and by no means is that a fault). I would say this movie is definitely worth a watch, but not necessarily a "must watch".
Scream (1996) Movie Review

Scream is the perfect concoction of horror slasher film and irony! The story line keeps you on the edge with a good amount of fight scenes, witty humor, and gore. Just as ghost face does, this movie keeps itself shrouded in mystery up until the very end. I have nothing bad to say about this movie it is definitely a must watch for any horror movie lovers and all others!

Suspiria is a very charming horror movie with its outlandish sets and color coding. Although it lacks an abundance of body horror/gore like some movies, there are a couple scenes where the depiction of blood is spectacular. In my opinion they got the color just right in this movie! The only negative thing to speak on about this movie is the story line was a bit hard for me to follow. On top of a confusing plot, the movie can be rather slow and it's a long watch. Definitely worth a watch once, but I wouldn't rewatch this movie unless showing it to anybody who hasn't seen it yet.

I think one of the Worst Things about wanting to find period clothing from other cultures, is trying to find fucking casual/work clothes. Like no, I do not want to see all these fancy intricate kimonos, I want to see jinbei, and field work outfits so I don't put a damn obi on this poor boy so he has a belt to hang his knife from.
