By the way, testing something here. You're reading the title text, not the alt text. (...That's what the WordPress version of this post said when you mouseover the image. Tumblr doesn’t support mouseover text, so you get the mouseover text as plain text instead.)

For April Fools’ Day, I brought my weekly stream back to Twitch and did annoying things popular Twitch streamers do a lot. I played a mainstream game online, I had a webcam which covered up my money and ammo counts, I had a lot of useless crap taking up space on the screen, and I constantly begged for followers and donations. Even Moobot was spamming up my chat, which had the default cuss filter on despite the NSFW language onscreen. This all went horribly right, even with Twitch constantly buffering and crashing and Xbox Live dropping my connection several times.

When I’m browsing around pixiv and something that jumps out at me with its colors and style, it usually belongs to Fuzichoco. She comes up time and time again on pixiv’s staff picks blog pixiv Spotlight with her modern take on traditional Japanese themes. She even made the box art for her favorite drawing program, openCanvas 6, and she has an online store.
Fuzichoco requests not to republish her work, so this pixiv link is all you're getting from me. She has plenty of really great work, so please click all the links and look around. It was tough narrowing it down to just one.

After playing Wordle for three months and becoming a mod on /r/wordle, I’ve analyzed every possible starting word for greens, useful yellows, narrowing the solutions, and trap avoidance. Now, here’s the culmination of my. Research: a fighting game character tier list! Every character here is playable and ranked by their effectiveness in Hard Mode. Go run the bracket on those puzzles!

It’s hard to keep up with people who post a lot. This maniac, DemizuPosuka, posts something new to pixiv three times a week. Each one looks like the cover of an indie comic book. I have no idea what most of these are called, even with Google Translate’s help.
Update: Whoa, Columbus’s resident Dr. Mario prodigy Katie provided translations in the Facebook comments. I didn’t expect that! Thank you!
Pretty sure I heard it’s around here somewhere… (確かこのあたりと聞いたけれども)
I love it when stuff messes with gravity. Reverse gravity is fantasy enough that you'll never see it in real life, but simple enough that you can understand how things interact with it. Patema Inverted plays with reverse gravity non-stop. You should watch it.
Necessary evil and unnecessary conscience (必要悪といらない良心)
There's big cars, and then there's big enough to crush buildings and take a direct hit from the moon. NASA has that one colossal truck that carries rockets from the hangar to the launchpad. I think that's as close as we get.
What? We eating pumpkin again?! (「えっまたカボチャ食べるの」)
Here's a good desktop wallpaper. Animals and monsters, just chillin' and eating dinner. I'm cool with this. If this was a Mystery Dungeon game, that witch girl would have just picked a fight with the entire room.
10pm at an old book shop (古書店の午後十時)
Never under-estimate a pop-up book. Ashens reviewed one called Inside the Personal Computer that has a full desktop PC with a couple moving parts. I'd link to that video, but a link's title text can't have its own links. That would break the Internet. (But on Tumblr, I can link you to that Ashens video.)
Goodbye world (さよなら世界)
You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you? Sometimes things don't end well for DemizuPosuka's subjects. At least this one isn't about to be eaten by a monster.

For Android Pebble users, Canvas for Pebble makes plenty of information available to your watchfaces. It’s hard to display much information on such a small screen and still look nice. For Wallpaper Watchface, the time is still large and in charge, and the other two lines are stuffed with so much small text and icons that the screen takes about 20 seconds to load. Missed calls and unread messages make new notifications appear on top of the large wallpaper image. Replace that Pebble Beach wallpaper with any graphic you want from your phone.
Wallpaper Watchface was built on Canvas for Pebble v2.0.6 beta which requires Pebble firmware 2.0 beta 5. If you have that stuff installed, click the links below on your phone to install the appropriate screen on your Pebble.

It's tricky to photograph e-ink displays indoors, let alone time the shot to the second... Ick, this preview looks ugly. This is why I took a photo of the watch itself.

Sorry about the slow updates lately. I’ve got a new job, so I need a new schedule for stuff like blog posts and Instagib streams. I’m pretty sure I can make it fit if I bang my head on it enough.

So here's a mid-page art style shift that the artist uploaded on my birthday.

“BirthStones” Acrylic paint, marker, colored pencil and glitter on paper. About 30 hours. From top left to right bottom, May Emerald, June Moonstone, August Peridot, December Turquoise, September Sapphire, January Garnet, July Ruby, February Amethyst, March Aquamarine, November Topaz, April Crystal and October Opal.
While looking around on pixiv and adding bookmarks, I found out that good artists tend to have really good bookmarks of their own. This is how I find stuff like Anime Galactus destroying some planets. Also, things that users tag as “Futsukushii”, “Hisense”, and “Click Recommended” are usually great picks, and this one has all three.
Actually, she seems sad about this. I guess that's where all the ice came from.
