live i wanted to try to save them again :(
please reblog with your answer in the tags so i know which ones of you are To Blame….
i just think it’s real interesting how during the code segment ranboo was adamant that we’d choose wrong on purpose because we wanted to kill him. of course we spammed into chat that we would never and we were here to help him, and we cared about him.
gl!ranboo only knew we voted red. for all he knew, the code could have been one of the others he didn’t try. he had no reason to trust us, he thought we’d want to kill him.
and after us screaming at him that we wanted him to live, that we loved him that we would never kill him, thirty minutes later we voted for him to die.
gl!ranboo died thinking we voted because we thought he deserved it. gl!ranboo thought we wanted to kill him. gl!ranboo thought we probably wanted to kill him the whole time because we hated him. gl!ranboo never knew we killed him because we loved him.
i voted live bc i was panicking and wanted to have another chance (however slim) to get them out of there somehow, but looking back it definitely was the right decision
it was a mercy they deserved. we saved him, though through death it may be.
I think one of the weirder things from generation loss that i haven't seen anyone mention is that, when ranboo's running from the shark-pickle-lobster-thing and he goes into the basement with the cage, he reaches into the box in the corner and pulls out a hoodie that looks EXACTLY like his. He then uses this hoodie to distract it by placing the hoodie in a cage. The shark-pickle-lobster then goes into the cage, because it thinks the hoodie is ranboo. This also seems weird to me as I'm pretty sure Slime mentions that the shark-pickle-lobster can't see very well (i could be misremembering I'm writing this from memory) meaning that it's probably going off of scent and sound. So not only is there an exact copy of ranboo's hoodie it also smells like them. Idk what this means if anything but it's such a weird detail it really stuck out to me.
EDIT: So first off slime said "once he gets your scent it's over" (at around 1 hour 20 minutes into the YouTube vod) which confirms what I said originally. And here are two photos of the hoodie( slightly shitty because I'm on mobile)
I kinda feel like since i was a kid i always preferred bringing new people, people who don't really know about my interests into my interests because i kept waiting for them to experience the same rush of excitedness and happiness that i had when engaging in it, and i didn't understand that that is not how it works...
Does anyone else prefer to enjoy their special interest alone? Or with people who’ll engage with you but don’t know anything about it instead of people who know a lot about it?
Sometimes it’s just refreshing. Sometimes I don’t want my headcanons or personal opinions on Doctor Who challenged because it’s too upsetting. Sometimes I want to pretend the fandom doesn’t exist. Sometimes I prefer explaining basic lore in the most complicated and off-track way possible rather than dealing with other Whovians.
Special interests really feel personal- it’s sorta strange how allistics don’t feel that intense connection, but I’m also just a bit envious.
Don't You Feel Like You've Done This Before?
your friendly neighbourhood spider!
Ranboo: Someone just said "kissing men stream pog" ...I'm going back in. I'm pulling a Misha
not he did not
Everybody says that Ncuti will be the 14th/15th doctor, but its more like 17th/18th or even more! Some regenerations just are not numbered. :D
One of my favorite things is learning random facts about random things. When I got my autism assessment I scored crazy high in general knowledge because I like to know ALL the things.
Anybody got some good random facts? Info dumping is welcome. Please tell me the minutiae of your favorite things.

Guys! I cracked the code! I wish I had any followers to share this magic revelation I had!
In D&D I love being a DM. I really do. With one exception.
Money.
Knowing how much a character should buy or sell something for is just way out of my grasp. For a rare item the price can be anywhere between five hundred and five THOUSAND. That’s a big difference! How am I supposed to know in between those two numbers what it should be?
I googled. And googled. And googled. Thinking *there must be a better way* and couldn’t find a single thing that made sense. Well me and two other DM friends got together and we figured it out. The magic system of pricing.
So first you take the pricing by magic item rarity in the DMG
Then you go to Xanathars and look at the Magic Item Tables to determine if the item is major or minor
Divide the prices in the rarity into major and minor. Major the higher half and minor the lower.
So that makes
Rare Minor - 500 - 2,500
Rare Major - 2,501 - 5,000
Very Rare Minor - 5,001 - 30,000
Very Rare Major - 30,001 - 50,000
Legendary Minor - 50,000 - 300,000
Legendary Major - 300,000 - 500,000
Then
THEN
It’s all up to a persuasion roll. Because let’s face it, what’s a fantasy shopping adventure of magic items without bartering and haggling?
So you divide the amounts into roll milestones. So a persuasion roll of 0-10 you pay the highest and 20+ you pay the lowest.
Like so:
Common Items: 1d6 x 10
Uncommon Items 1d6 x 100
Rare Minor:
0-9: 2,500
10-11: 2,100
12-14: 1,700
15-17: 1,300
18-19: 900
20+ : 500
Rare Major
0-9: 5,000
10-11: 4,600
12-14: 4,200
15-17: 3,800
18-19: 3,200
20+: 2,500
Very Rare Minor
0-9: 30,000
10-11: 25,000
12-14: 20,000
15-17: 15,000
18-19: 10,000
20+ : 5,000
Very Rare Major
0-9: 50,000
10-11: 45,000
12-14: 40,000
15-17: 35,000
18-19: 30,000
20+ : 25,000
Legendary
0-9: 250,000
10-11: 200,000
12-14: 150,000
15-17: 100,000
18+ : 50,000
Legendary Major
0-9: 500,000
10-11: 450,000
12-14: 400,000
15-17: 350,000
18-19: 300,000
20+ : 250,000
Seriously someone who is followed by a lot of D&D people find this shit and spread it! It’s so much easier and makes a million times more sense then anything I ever heard of before and i wish someone else would have thought of it sooner (or if someone else did that I had found it sooner)
