um so, a while ago I got really obsessed with inukag fan kids— like, 9 years ago I designed their daughter (eldest) and their possible son. Funny thing, I named the girl Ayame before I even watched that episode, but now I don’t know what to call either of them. Sometimes I name them after parents. I read the most lovely story where they named their girl Kikyo. Sometimes I give them names after the Inuyasha OPs and EDs or voice actors or just people who were involved somehow. Whatever. Nameless inukag babies. Girl has black hair, dog ears, and gold eyes— really takes after dad. Oh goodness. Boy has silver hair, human ears, Inuyasha’s sharp pupil (and a better sense of smell in my head canon than his older sister), and takes more after his mother. I don’t think I did either head shot much justice, but it was 2 am… And don’t pay attention to my awful and unpracticed and probably incorrect Japanese. I need to work on my handwriting… -sigh- sorrrryyyyy

I’m not sure if I’m doing the wrong one, but there’s no letters? So I just did the corresponding number, which was 7, winter clothes! I couldn’t resist putting Inu-son in a bunch of cute modern stuff, blame it on the fact that I walked past the baby aisle today and squee’d at the adorableness of the winter clothes. Inu-daughter is in a mix of modern clothes and the firerat, kind of a play on how Kagome wears in during the Togenkyo arch, but obviously much looser and larger on her.

I’ve had different “ideas” for fankids of Inukag but honestly ever since I saw @justafewsmallsteps‘s fankids I just .. fell in love haha. Now that’s how I imagine Inuyasha and Kagome’s family:

Aren’t they cute????? The only thing I imagine differently is their son’s eye color since I prefer Kagome with brown eyes ~
I think having 2 kids is just perfect for Inuyasha and Kagome. Its already going to be a big deal for Inuyasha to become a dad and I don’t think he has the patience to have more than 1 or 2 kids haha
When it comes to personality their daughter is going to take after Inuyasha and their son is going to be more like Kagome. ALSO I love the idea that their daughter is going to date Miroku and Sango’s son when they’re both going to be older c: (since she’s only going to be around 2 years younger than him).
Based on @amerikagome‘s request for Inuyasha as the Sun and Kagome as the Moon. I actually have them switched and this really doesn’t fit the prompt at all, but for me… Inuyasha is a Sun parent: sometimes overbearing and brash, but so warm and burning with love. Kagome is a gentle but commanding guiding force, naggy but with constant care and affection.

She had his temperament and lack of patience, but in a cuter way (for now). Her big, shiny, golden eyes were just like his, and the black ears atop her head swiveled around just as his did. She loved it. She loved being just like him in every way she could; going around picking up big sticks to swing like her own Tessaiga.

For Inuvember, Day 20 of Inuyasha 30 Day Challenge: Your OCs/Fankids
Two InuKag fankids that I’ve drawn before: here and here! Plus my headcanons for the MirSan kids! (In all honesty, I think they’re going to have at least one more child, but who knows?) So here’s some family time, and friendship time. I just think that everyone would baby and tease and adore and love the crap out of Inu-son. Also, like in the post by meselfandwhy, I think Miroku and Sango’s son would totally end up with Inuyasha and Kagome’s daughter. I’ve drawn comics in my sketchbook, so maybe I’ll scan those one day… Maybe I should write a fanfic? Who’d even care, lol.

Inuvember Day 14: InuYasha AU!
Genderbent AU!!! Oh god, I’m obsessed with drawing everyone this way. Maybe if everyone’s genders were switched, and everything else in the story would stay the same, I’m sure there would be a heck-ton more of strong, independent women who don’t need no senpai (There are some already, but there would be more, I’m sure).
Inuvember, Day 17: BROtp
I’m 100% sure this is how Miroku would react if he found out his bro wasn’t a virgin anymore.
But in all seriousness, I love these guys’ relationship. They are like the brothers they never had. Miroku being the older, wiser one who tells his troublemaking-yet-innocent younger brother about how to flirt with girls and junk. Ya know, boy things.
Inuvember, Day 20: InuBabies!
I absolutely adore justafewsmallstep’s design for InuKag’s possible babies. They are ridiculously adorable. And the first little scene is inspired by inuyashasforest’s fanfiction, where if InuYasha’s dad was still alive, he’d play with InuYasha to help boost his confidence.
And of course I had to draw a little bit of MirSan’s babies. The twins would grow up to be powerful demon slayers like their mother (and learn not to take any shit from perverts - but still also be flirty?), and the son will be the spitting image of his father. My headcanaon is that he falls in love with InuKag’s daughter, to InuYasha’s dismay.
