Gen Z and are so funny to me (another gen z) because they're like "we are against CAPITALISM ! we are the rebel generation !" but they'll defend porn (a capitalist industry based on the exploitation of women), prostitution (a capitalist industry based on the exploitation of women), makeup (a capitalist industry based on women's insecurities and sexist beauty standards), cosmetic surgery (a capitalist industry based on women's insecurities and sexist beauty standards), transition surgery (a capitalist industry based on using the issues of dysphoric and gender non conforming people to make money), fashion industry (a capitalist industry based on the exploitation of thousands of people and that's harmful for the planet) and like thousands of other capitalist shits. it isn't an anti capitalism generation. it's a very pro capitalism generation. they just use all these capitalist things (porn, prostitution, makeup, surgeries, fashion) to paint an anti capitalism aesthetic, an illusion, a look (based on their appearance, their content on social medias) to look anti capitalists, but they are not. if they were, they wouldn't think it's okay to traffick, exploit and sell women as objects, they wouldn't think it's okay to maintain and spread sexist beauty standards to push women to buy your products/surgeries because now they feel insecure about their face and body, they wouldn't keep supporting and industry that exploits other people and hurts their planet, they wouldn't support an ideology that tells you to alter your body by selling you lies about how you are born in the wRoNg one and need to pay to be your true self.

it's an aesthetic for them, they want to look cool and rebel and revolutionnary, but they support capitalism. and misogyny. (but but but it's EMPOWERING)

Women are just as responsible for their roles in upholding the patriarchy as men are. They should not be given a pass by talking about how they were just "brainwashed" or conditioned into their beliefs.

Men and women have both been handed a belief system about EVERYTHING, including our roles in society and the ways we ought to treat each other, and once you're an adult you're 100% responsible for unpacking and unlearning all harmful programming and making good decisions. If you're not responsible, you're not a grown-up. To hold men accountable for this and to give women a pass is to say that men are sovereign, intelligent beings with free will, capable of reason and making a choice between good and evil, and women are not. It reduces women to status of robots with no free will, who are slaves to their programming, or to the status of mental children. It puts women on a level BENEATH men. We hold adults responsible for their actions. It's children who we point to and say, "They don't know any better, they're just doing what they've been told. Give them a break."

You know all these harmful patriarchal attitudes we waffle on about all day, like the idea that women should wear makeup and shave or that females are inferior to males? When you see a post with a thousand comments by women telling a girl she's ugly and needs to begin "looksmaxxing," you're seeing that self-hatred abusively being instilled into another young woman in real time...by women. It's happening right in front of you. It OFTEN comes from other women; THIS is how it's perpetuated!

Or when you hear about boy moms who abuse their daughters while favoring their sons, setting that girl up with a sense of low-self worth that she'll be looking to balance her whole life (probably with manipulative men or self-harming behaviors), you're seeing the message that "𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦" inflicted on one of your sisters - BY A WOMAN! Quite aggressively too, I might add!

If you saw a person abusing a child or beating a dog with a stick, you wouldn't tell yourself, "Well, they've probably just been taught to do that" or "Well, this OTHER group hurts kids and beats dogs far more often so, I guess I'll let this one slide," would you?

Hold abusers and agents of the patriarchy accountable wherever and whenever you see them. Shut it down. If you're against all this shit, act on it when you see it. No matter what individual you're standing against in any given moment, when you push back against these messages you're standing FOR women and against the patriarchy.

I always think it’s very interesting that Aileen Wuornos is consistently said to be one of the most notorious serial killers in history, despite the fact that if she was male, her victim count and murder method would barely be considered notable nevermind one of the worst.

She killed 7 Johns by shooting them in the head, yet she gets put on lists with men who raped, tortured, and killed 30+ people.

the only thing females can talk about is "love" and relationships and wanting to have sex? I have never been friends with men or have any male familiar so i dont know if mrn are the same. I feel exhausted of listening about their obsession with bodies and "relationships" its sickening. Are people something else? Knowing theyre empty vs seeing their emptiness so up close its bizarre.

I continue to observe how they create their own problems, when theyre finally free from their dramas they get even more desperate, its like they cant stand it, they run and jump right into the closest thing that can cause problems to them, they start destroying everything around lookimg for comfort looking for a new thing to complain and suffer about. They dont desire happiness. Or do they? If their happiness is suffering then thats their happiness.

It always tickles me when songs about rebellion and "doing it your way" are sung by THE most gender conforming women you've ever seen in your life. Its like ok bbg keep shining yayyy girlboss power divine feminine!! Eyeliner sharp enough to kill a man!!! Do it your way exactly like all the women around you and in media ❤️

Women are not victims are patriarchy. They're co-authors.

The facade of helpless victim needs to end. As if a woman never set another woman up to get assaulted by a man, as if a mother never harmed her own damn kids, as if women don't don't possess a fucking lick of evil within themselves.

Refusing to coddle grown women isn't misogyny, by the way. Grow up.

Nobody on radblr ever goes "hm. female socialization is so prevalent and suffocating that certain women will rebel against it and look down on women perpetuating it. We need to be considerate of them too. #all women are my sisters"

It only gets mentioned in the context of "be considerate and say nothing against str8 momma #16781265829^10 who is doing everything patriarchy wants her to even if it's throwing you under the bus"

hm. so interesting

I believe the myth that anger turns you into the people/person that abused you was created to keep women placated and in a position where we are never fully able to take ownership of their own rage because, according to that myth, that makes you just as bad as your abusers. Please be a hater and angry till the day you die. WHAT THEY DID WAS NEVER OKAY AND IT NEVER WILL BE.
