If you are young do not be swayed by the whole "identity" shitck. It is a mumbo jumbo word salad to make people feel special, it is purely egoic, nonsensical, and sometimes fandom induced grown up play pretend. Notice how EVERYTHING has become an identity? Mental illness (sometimes physical), sex, sexuality... It all implies that this thing here, yeah, that thing? It can be identified into, you can "become" it on a knee jerk reaction and NOBODY will (at least in their fantasies) question it. And so far this is how it is! Combine it with internet shushing everyone up for questioning the validity of the said identities with threats of accusing them of being problematic and justifying wrong identification as "soul searching" or "exploration" and here you have it! Perfect business plan!

Not to mention how this whole thing has taken off with mental illness, and it becoming a new identity, a shiny, new, fresh, counter culture and subversive label you can PROUDLY wear for no reason. The only "gross" symptoms people managed to normalise were not being able to get up from bed and wash yourself, two of which are very easy to fake. Some people, and you have to admit it at this point, use the whole mental health awareness thing as new technique to learn new ways of manipulation and faking it. Women will practice and uphold patriarchal beauty standards they personally conform to. It’s all fun and games when you’re the preferred fetish. Body types, hair colors and textures, lip size, skin tones, etc are all ways in which women are ranked. Egos are bruised when different models go in and out of style. It’s not that deep and I do it for myself anyway.”

When women are “winning” the patriarchal game of penises and empty promises, they will do anything to maintain their status. Social capital is kept through presenting yourself as sexually available to heterosexual males. That is the foundation on which all beauty standards are built upon, regardless of what women tell themselves. Competitiveness is the sole purpose behind women’s picking and choosing of which aesthetic preference’s should be maintained. Remember, women are hierarchical too, and heterosexual world dominance is perpetuated through pecking order.

I’ll take claims of unfair beauty standards seriously when I see women rejecting ALL of them in mass. Until then, the same women shaving off their body hair can keep begging the pedo’s they’re appealing to for less judgment on their ass size/shape.
