Clueless Season 1 Episode 6 - Making Up Is Hard to Do (1996)
As I sat sipping my morning coffee, I couldn't help but wonder: why do we often wait for someone else to take us on a romantic date when the perfect partner has been there all along—ourselves?
We get so caught up in chasing love from others we often forget that sometimes that you can give yourself the love you need too.
There’s something soooo empowering about falling in love with your own presence. I mean why wouldn't I want to hangout with myself? I'm amazing, fun and smell good too.
When you take yourself out, you're not just spending time alone— you're setting the standard for yourself everytime you get dressed up and go to that fancy restaurant, everytime you grab your tote bag and favourite runners and go exploring in your city, or even monthly spa visits to pamper yourself. make your solo dates pop so you don't settle for less when it comes to romantic partners and platonic friendships
Sunset Beach Walk: Slip into your cutest sundress and wander along the beach as the sun sets. You could even pack yourself some of your fave sparkling drinks and some fruits! and everybody always feels better after they spend some time by the water.
Picnic in the Park: Pack a basket with your favorite snacks, a cozy blanket, and a good book. Find a shady spot under a tree 🍓📖
Yoga in the Garden: Roll out your mat in your backyard or a nearby garden. Breathe in the fresh air and stretch your body 🧘♀️🌸
Gallery Hopping: Spend an afternoon exploring local art galleries. Take your time admiring each piece and journal about it after 🖼️
Stargazing Night: On a clear night, lay out a blanket in your backyard or a quiet park and look up at the stars ✨
Food Solo Date Ideas
Café Hopping: Spend a day exploring cafés in your city and act like the main character in a sitcom or romcom. My fave thing about cafe's is people watching and making up storylines about people. ☕️
Gourmet Dinner for One: Dress up and take yourself to that fancy restaurant you’ve been eyeing. Put on that dress you've been "saving for a special occasion" and order yourself the whole bottle! 🍷
Baking Adventure: Try out a new baking recipe and create some new sweet treats, whatever you have leftover you can share with your girls 🥮🍪🍰
Farmers’ Market Feast: Visit a local farmers’ market and pick out fresh, seasonal ingredients. Then, head home and cook a delicious, wholesome meal just for you.
Ice Cream Parlor Indulgence: Treat yourself to a visit to an ice cream parlor.
Remember, darling, you're the star of your own show. Every moment spent with yourself is a chance to fall head over heels for the fabulous person you are. So, slip into that cute outfit, step out with all the confidence of a city girl in stilettos, and let the world bask in your glow.
After all, the greatest romance you'll ever have is the one you create within yourself.
How I pick myself up
~after hard times~
Information After The Divider<3
Admitting my problems and accepting my feelings: The first step for me is always admitting my problems and accepting how I feel. If you put aside and downplay your feelings they’ll only grow stronger and stronger until they eventually break out. Whenever I used to find myself in a bad place in life I would say “I’m fine” or “I’m okay” no matter the situation because that’s what I wanted to believe. In reality saying those things when your in fact not “Fine” or “Okay” will never work. Now, instead when i’m in a bad place i’ll admit it, “I’m depressed” but always add more to it.
“I’m depressed. And that’s okay.”
“I’m sad. And that’s okay.”
“I’m tired/burntout. And that’s okay.”
Now that i’ve come to terms with how i’m feeling what do I do about it?
Finding out the root of these problems/What’s causing them: Connect with your inner self and think about what feelings or events prior to the present may have triggered your feelings. Think about all the other times you’ve felt like this, if you have and what reoccurring events happen leading up to it. For example, in my case almost all times before I start feeling down I go through a sort of disappointment and stress. Those feelings cause me to spiral and I fall deeper and deeper into my negative feelings.
What needs to change in order for me to get better?: This is going to be different for everybody. Try to think of simple things you can do that will positively impact your life and situation. Whether it be your environment, your support system, or the way you spend your time, anything you think is best.
How do I do those things?: After acknowledging what needs to change in your life think about what steps you can take in order to change them. Make a plan of action for it! For example I thought one of the things I needed to change was my support system, I’m not too comfortable talking to family or friends on personal levels so I looked at free online therapy chats and decided I would try one out.
Do them: After developing a plan of action follow through with it! It may be hard but you can do it! A little after finding those chat sites I signed up and talked with a therapist for nearly an hour and though i was quite nervous before, it helped me lots!
🦢I hope you guys enjoy this short little post! Please leave suggestions for posts in the comments, it’ll be so heavily appreciated. One that note i’ll be off, bye my lovesss! <3

The Glow-Up Is a Lifestyle: 10 Ways to Elevate Your Everyday
by Soleau Club
If you're still thinking of a glow-up as a one-time thing, let's shift that energy. The glow-up is a lifestyle, not a crash course. It's how you pour your water, speak to yourself, and curate your entire damn aura. Here's how I subtly (but dramatically) elevate my everyday to keep it soft, hot, and high-vibe.
Folding laundry becomes a reset ritual when Sade is playing and there’s lavender mist in the air. I’m not "cleaning the kitchen" — I’m clearing space for my next manifestation.
I’m not punishing her with workouts or starving her. I move her with joy. I feed her with care. I rest her with luxury. She’s my ride-or-die, so I act like it.
Overbooked = overwhelmed = out of alignment. I’ve started turning things down that don’t feel like a full-body yes. If it doesn’t light me up or calm me down, it’s a no.
Hydration is a personality trait. I have one bottle for bed, one for my car, one that looks cute in Instagram pics — and I rotate through them like they're part of my identity.
Everything around me either adds to my peace or disrupts it. I choose candles, playlists, lighting, textures, and colors that feel like me. That is self-respect.
Walking slower. Eating slower. Answering slower. When I stopped rushing, I started glowing. Slow = sensual = regulated = powerful.
If I’m doom scrolling and comparing, I log out. If my vibe is off, I don’t keep feeding it content. I detox like I detox sugar — regularly and unapologetically.
If it’s not aligned, calming, inspiring, or luxurious in some way… I’m not buying it. Wealth starts with how you invest your attention, your time, and yes — your dollars.
Some days the vibe isn’t a green smoothie in a silk robe — it’s eating popcorn in mismatched pajamas while watching early 2000s rom-coms. That counts. That heals.
I’m not waiting to “glow up.” I’m embodying it. I wear the perfume now. I eat the nourishing food now. I take care of myself now. And suddenly, I’m already her.

Cultivating Your Signature It Girl Aesthetic | THE IT GIRL DIARIES
Fashion and style are critical components of the ideal It Girl. However, style is not about following every trend, you are the inspiration, the trendsetter, the It Girl style is about creating a look that is uniquely yours, an appearance that no one else can replicate but instead only have deep admiration for it. It’s about creating a personal brand that feels true to who you are and owning it.
How to discover and curate your signature look?
Identify your fashion preferences. Are you drawn to classy elegance, barbie doll pink, edgy streetwear, coquette or bohemian chic? Curate a wardrobe that reflects this aesthetic consistently. Identifying your aesthetic does not mean limiting yourself to only that, else you're just another follower taking inspiration from the trendsetter. Take your aesthetic and make it your own, add your touch of personality and characteristic to it, give it a bit of you.
Build your wardrobe around staple pieces that can be mixed and matched. Classic items like plain white or black tees, versatile denim, fitted slacks, clothing that can never go out of style because it can always be made into something more.
Celebrate what makes you you. If you have big lips or eyes, find ways to accentuate them! Instead of conforming to trends that don't serve your look, embrace and elevate your features. For instance, laminating your brows for a neat, polished appearance instead of shaving them all off and redrawing them on like.. Discover beauty techniques that enhance your natural beauty rather than masking it.
Your hair is one of your defining traits! Whether you have silky straight hair or kinky 4b curls, a consistent haircare routine helps you feel polished and put together. Invest in treatments that align with your hair type and goals—like deep conditioning and hot oil treatments for moisture and strength. If you love to wear your hair sleek, using heat protectants and frizz control products will help maintain your signature look while preventing damage.
You don’t have to spend hours on makeup to feel fabulous. Find key beauty steps that give you lasting results, like applying a lip tint every third day to keep your lips subtly flushed without constant reapplication. Design a makeup routine that emphasizes your key features. A weekly face mask tailored to your skin’s needs helps keep your complexion glowing. Embrace easy, effective beauty hacks that fit seamlessly into your routine.
True elegance comes from appearance and how you carry yourself. Paying attention to skin, hair, and environmental cleanliness, moving with grace and poise. Keeping things simple yet chic, whether it’s maintaining a daily skincare routine or practicing oil pulling—ensure you’re always putting your best self forward. The key is consistency and subtlety, qualities that define It Girl charm.
The It Girl aesthetic isn’t about following every trend—it’s about finding what works for you and sticking with it. Your style and beauty choices should reflect what feels comfortable and sustainable for you.
Your personal style should reflect who you are on the inside and help you radiate confidence. Discover what feels authentic, and from there, curate a signature It Girl aesthetic that highlights your best self.

Angel’s Spring Reset: A Full & Complete Guide
ib: [busy, yet pretty]
Mindset Refresh ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ🐇་༘࿐
Reflect & journal what’s been weighing you down n what you want to leave behind. 𐙚🧸ྀི
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Weighing me down: overthinking past conversations and ones to come, feeling like I have to prove my worth to people who don't even prioritize me, doubting myself when i know deep down what i want, the pressure to always be productive even when i need rest.
₊˚⊹ ᰔ What I'm leaving behind: guilt of prioritizing myself above others, self-doubt, fear of change, people who don't reciprocate my energy.
I am making space for the new opportunities and getting rid of anything in my life that doesn't align with me.
Set new intentions 𐙚🧸ྀི
⋅˚₊‧ 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅ The theme is MORE. This season will be filled with more opportunities, more friends, more love, more happiness, more light, more relief, more peacefulness, more experiences.
Detox & restart! 𐙚🧸ྀི
୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ clear away any & everything that feels heavy or stagnant. Physically, emotionally, mentally by asking myself:
۶ৎ what does my body need right now?
⊹ ࣪ ˖ a balanced diet
⊹ ࣪ ˖ vitamins
⊹ ࣪ ˖ more movement
⊹ ࣪ ˖ more hydration + electrolytes
⊹ ࣪ ˖ more fresh air
۶ৎ what can i do to make myself feel more refreshed?
⊹ ࣪ ˖ stretching in the morning to loosen tension
⊹ ࣪ ˖ taking walks
⊹ ࣪ ˖ prioritizing rest
⊹ ࣪ ˖ sunlight exposure
⊹ ࣪ ˖ breath work
⊹ ࣪ ˖ self-massages (gua sha, a body roller)
۶ৎ what habits should i get rid of?
⊹ ࣪ ˖ all the things I mentioned in the first step.
۶ৎ how can i be gentler with myself?
⊹ ࣪ ˖ reassure myself instead of criticizing
⊹ ࣪ ˖ let myself rest without guilt
⊹ ࣪ ˖celebrate small wins
⊹ ࣪ ˖ let go of people who don't show up for me
⊹ ࣪ ˖ give myself space and time to feel and heal without judgement
⊹ ࣪ ˖ talk to myself like someone i love
۶ৎ the detox plan?
1 thing im removing from my life
The habit of second guessing myself. I have strong instincts, but sometimes I overthink or doubt my choices. I’m going to let go of the need to overanalyze and trust that my decisions are enough in the moment.
1 thing i'm adding to my life
More intentional rest - truly allowing myself to relax without guilt (sleeping in, watching something comforting, or just existing without feeling like I should be doing something.)
1 way i'll take care of myself this week
Setting a boundary with my energy - if someone or something is draining my energy, I’ll choose not to engage (ignoring a message, postponing something that doesn’t feel right, or simply saying “no,” protect my peace.)
This detox isn't about perfection, but rather making space for what i really want.
Mindfulness 𐙚🧸ྀི
‹𝟹 ground yourself in the moment by:
꩜ .ᐟ noticing your surroundings. focus on your senses, what do you see, hear, feel, smell and taste? this can happen when you're doing nothing or even an activity like eating or getting dressed
꩜ .ᐟ start and end your day with journaling and reflection
꩜ .ᐟ watch your thoughts without judgment
꩜ .ᐟ let yourself be (silence, daydreaming..) you don't have to always be doing something
