DON'T WANT NO OTHER SHADE OF BLUE BUT YOU
swiftie gift exchange for @stood-onthecliffside <333 i love you so much i hope you like this!!!
Taylor’s music AND fashion choices really went from ‘ I can be your perfect princess’ to ‘ I’m gay and I don’t give a f*ck’ and I love it. Pathological people pleaser in remission, I salute you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

so The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived is for SURE about so many things, like scooter braun, scot swift, the music industry at large, her fans, etc. but. what about taylor talking to herself? she is The Man after all. so what about True Queer Taylor talking to Public Persona Taylor? i need to sleep but!!
I can’t imagine not viewing this album through a queer lens
I thought after “Hits Different” came out, we all just knew Taylor was some kinda fluid. I remember thinking, “Oh, it’s so cool everyone likes that song, no one cares that she’s singing to a woman!”
But I had no idea until I fell deeper into the rabbit hole how far out of their way people will go to shove her into the straight box. It’s sad.
She’s literally like “Hiiii I have loved a woman dearly” and everyone’s like “Wow it must be nice to be sooooo straight that you can write gay lyrics and they’re still straight.”

taylor attended a hannah montana afterparty with emily osment, miley cyrus, and demi lovato
miley later said: “if you guys didn’t know i was bisexual from this damn picture, i don’t know what’s wrong with you. uh, i mean, hello! look at them!”
Whether she is conscious of it or not, Ms. Swift signals to queer people — in the language we use to communicate with one another — that she has some affinity for queer identity. There are some queer people who would say that through this sort of signaling, she has already come out, at least to us.
