5 things itoshi sae will do.
he will make you cry.
intentional or not, this man has the magical ability to turn the faucets behind your eyes. the once warm salty tears running down your cheeks become cold the moment they make contact with that one spot below your eyes.
he will force you to attend his games.
you’re immediately obligated to attend his matches as soon as you two make it official. he’s not embarrassed about you watching his matches like at all because he’s quite confident in his abilities. you technically get dragged into the stadium by the team’s guards who escort you to your seat.
he will let you see him walk around with his fuckass bangs down without any hairspray.
he’s quite shameless when he’s alone—except he isn’t, he’s in the room with you . . . but you don’t count as someone to be wary about. so when he first came to you with his bangs down, you almost squealed. it’s somewhat of a reward when you see it. he still looks like he came straight out of the photos his mom sent you from when he was younger.
he will tolerate your touches.
nope, he is not known for his affection. even with you, he doesn’t initiate it. not like it would kill him to do so, he’s just . . . clueless—you could say. but when you wrap your arms around him, hover your hands over his body, entangle your fingers with his hair, touch his face, kiss him—he’ll accept them.
he will leave you on seen.
yup. either one : he doesn’t know how to respond so he just looks stares at your text like a clueless child—debating whether he should send a stupid millennial gifs or not respond at all. or two : he’ll respond you when he meets you. “i’ll buy you dinner.” “what?” “that text. you asked what you should get for dinner.” “sae, that was 4 days ago.”
5 more things itoshi sae won’t do.
he won’t let you cry in front of him.
he’ll turn you away or he’ll walk away. look, he’s trying to give you some space but honestly, it isn’t helping. it’s not that he doesn’t want to comfort you—he just doesn’t know how to handle his own feelings, let alone yours. so he’ll leave you alone. however, when your tears dry up, he’ll come back to you and pray to God that you don’t hate him.
he won’t lie to you.
even white lies. it just isn’t part of his vocabulary. but it does come in handy—for example, when you see an article about some stupid ship between him and another celebrity, he shuts it down and you know he’s telling you the truth. then there’s the down side . . . “do you think this shade suits me?” “no. you should find another one.” he finds there is just no use in coating lies.
he won’t put you above soccer.
it sounds harsh but he doesn’t expect you to expect him to give up his livelihood for a relationship and neither should you give up yours for him. he’ll love you to the end and back—soccer isn’t on his love spectrum, more like his obsessive spectrum. so yeah, he’ll love you more than soccer but he doesn’t put you above the sport.
he won’t hide you.
it’s actually futile to get him to listen to his PR team. no, he is not ashamed going to an event with you in hand. no, he is not ashamed with keeping one highlight of you on his inactive instagram account. no, he is not going to entertain other set-ups. no, he won’t give a fuck.
but he won’t ever hate you.
don’t even try because it won’t happen.

No Way He Pulled That Pt.3
No one in the Neo Egoist League believed Rin Itoshi had a girlfriend.
To be fair, he hadn't given them much to go on. He never showed photos. Never talked about her. Never so much as acknowledged the concept of romance. When the other players from PXG or Bastard München bragged about DMs or fangirls, Rin just rolled his eyes and walked away.
So when Aryu casually asked if he’d be staying behind for a hangout w all the guys, Rin shrugged once and muttered, “Can’t. She’s waiting for a call”
It was like dropping a lit match in a room full of gasoline.
Reo paused in the middle of a shoulder stretch. “She who?”
“My girlfriend”
Chigiri actually choked on his protein shake. “You? A girlfriend? Are we calling sleep paralysis demons girlfriends now?”
“Is she imaginary?” Nagi asked from where he was lying on the floor. “Do we clap to summon her or…?”
Kaiser laughed like it was the funniest joke he’d ever heard. “Come on, Itoshi. No girl survives that personality”
Rin didn’t even bother with a rebuttal. He just signed and walked away.
So of course, when Ego gave the players a surprise rest day and mentioned a beach day for all the stratums, everyone jumped at the chance.
Except Rin.
Until he heard you'd be there.
The beach was loud with yelling, sunscreen smells, and the sound of overly competitive volleyball matches echoing through the court. Kaiser had already roped Ness into a game with Reo and Chigiri, while Isagi looked like he was two seconds from treating it like a World Cup final.
Rin stood far off to the side, arms crossed, shades on, unmoving.
Someone bumped his shoulder on purpose.
“You waiting for your imaginary girlfriend?” Reo teased with a grin. “I think she’s late”
Rin didn’t even blink.
Then—
WHACK!
A volleyball slammed down onto the court. It bounced once, twice, and rolled toward the sidelines. All heads turned, expecting to see Shidou or Bachira doing a cartwheel or smth
Instead, they saw someone.
You.
On the opposite side of the court, glowing under the sun like something out of a dream. You wore a sporty two-piece and high-waisted shorts, eyes bright, skin sun-kissed, smile lazy and warm like a summer afternoon. You jogged over to retrieve the ball, your hair bouncing with every step, sweat glinting like gold on your collarbone. The strings of your swim top peeked from under your tank, but you didn’t seem to notice or care.
Someone—maybe Reo, maybe Isagi—whispered a stunned “whoa”
“Who the hell is that?” Kaiser asked, lowering his sunglasses.
But Rin was already moving.
He crossed the sand like he’d done it a hundred times, ignoring everyone’s stunned expressions.
And when you looked up—
Your whole face lit up.
“Rinnie!!”
You ran to him, volleyball forgotten. Sand kicked up behind you as you jumped slightly, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. He caught you easily, hands firm on your waist.
“You’re here!” you said, breathless with excitement, brushing his hair back. “I thought you wont go”
“They dragged me,” he murmured, voice low. But his hand never left your side. “You’re… tan”
You grinned. “You’re squinting. That’s a compliment, right?”
Behind you, the boys looked like they’d seen a ghost.
“That’s her?”
“There’s no way”
“She’s literally glowing—is that legal??”
“She called him Rinnie. Bro didn’t even flinch”
“Not even I could pull that,” Aiku muttered.
“I need to sit down,” Ness whispered.
You finally turned, looking toward the stunned group. “Oh! These must be your friends”
Rin’s eye twitched. “No”
You waved anyway, giving them a dazzling smile. “Hi! I’m [Name]—I’ve heard so much about you all!”
You weren’t shy. You weren’t awkward. You were nothing like they imagined.
And Rin?
He did NOT pull away from your side once.
Was this a Spoiler before?

best friends 🙂↕️
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ in which, you finally experience his smile and his laughter for the first time.
˖ . ݁𝜗𝜚. ݁₊ when you had first befriended rin all those months ago, you honestly hadn’t expected your friendship to flourish like this.
rin was quiet, snappy, and quite frankly, tended to be very rude. but for some reason, that never shook you off of him. why? he couldn’t fathom a reason. not even you could come up with a reason. just that you liked his mystery, his company, his presence, all of it.
maybe you liked it too much.
under the spring sunlight, you and rin walked back to your home as you yapped away. another thing you liked about rin was that he was a good listener. you could talk about any of your interests and he would be there beside you, nodding along, occasionally asking questions — and the best part? he remembered. he remembered things even you had forgotten.
“i don’t understand why he doesn’t just confess already.” you huffed, complaining about the male lead in your romance novel. “he has to understand he’s an attractive guy. i don’t think any girl would reject him!”
rin looked at you curiously. “what do you mean?”
“i mean that everybody likes pretty boys. even if they’re the worst person on the planet. rin, come on, back me up here. you can testify!”
“i still don’t understand.” rin replied.
you rolled your eyes. was he being serious? absolutely no way. “girls confess to you all the time.”
he looked at you completely cluelessly.
then it hit you.
oh my god.
rin was genuinely clueless.
he was utterly unaware of his own beauty.
how? he was one of your closest friends now, and one of the first things you had noticed about him was that he was rather beautiful. pretty teal eyes fringed by long dark lashes, a face sculpted by angels, dark hair that fell over his face perfectly, and come on. he was an athlete. anybody with eyes could see the carefully built muscle against the fabric of his clothes. rin was a pretty boy. it was no secret.
however, it seemed that everybody knew the secret but him.
he tilted his head just slightly to the side, sunlight streaming through the trees and pronouncing the deep green undertones of his hair. “so?”
you stopped walking, completely the dumbfounded. then the words tumbled out of your mouth before you could stop them. “you’re pretty.”
oh, now you’ve done it. who the hell calls their male friends pretty?
rin raised an eyebrow. “i’m pretty?”
“no!” you exclaimed, your heart racing in your chest as he looked down at you, and oh god — you were blushing. then his eyes widened in surprise at your quick reaction, your heart beating so fast it could have collapsed inside your chest. “i mean i’m not saying you’re not, ‘cause you are. pretty, i mean. but i’m just saying-”
your rambling was definitely making this worse. you looked down at the ground, your cheeks flushing pink and your blood racing through your veins. then you heard something soft. the smallest sound.
laughter.
you raised your eyes to find his face, and your breath catches. he laughed louder, and your heart fluttered in your chest as you watched him with wide eyes. you didn’t think he could get prettier.
but here he was. the soft golden sunlight hitting his face and illuminating every breathtaking feature. his smile could have stopped wars, his laughter could have been mistaken for an angel’s. you had never seen him look prettier. it was almost too much for your poor heart to handle. he was smiling — laughing because of you.
you felt light. too light. as you watched him, lips parted in awe, you felt your heart fall. falling endlessly, effortlessly, as you looked at rin.
he giggled, and your stomach flipped, his smile radiant as he looked down at you. “so you think i’m pretty?”
you couldn’t even speak. you just nodded.
he laughed again, nodding to himself. “good. i think you’re pretty too.”
you might faint.
rin’s laughter was pure as his hands went to your face as you mumbled about feeling lightheaded ; his proximity, touch and laughter worsening it. rin could only giggle as he teasingly asked you if you were okay, delighted by your shy and soft responses.
oh, you’re so screwed. you’ve definitely fallen for itoshi rin.

do i look alright? // rin hitoshi
you turned around, gazing at yourself in the mirror, as you admired the sundress your husband had picked out for you, the soft cloth fitting onto each dip of your body, revealing every inch of you from bottom-to-top, the soft hue of pink complimenting the blush you decided to wear today, your little handbag in one hand as you felt your husbands hands slide around your waist before handing you your favourite ceramic-flower hairclips, ruffling the thin material as he held onto you, picking up your head to meet his beryl-like eyes, he stood strong and tall like a guard dog next to you, protecting you from the rough outside world.
“do i look alright?” you asked him as you tilted your head, unsure if you liked the dress or not. rin pressed a kiss onto the tip of your ear as he looked down at you,
his mind drifted away as nostalgia filled him, recalling the first time he’d seen you, you had worn a similar dress to this, catching his eye from the crowd of thousands of faces surrounding him, you were like birdsong to his dull, soul hungry life.
“hm? rin? you there?”
“beautiful,” he huffed out,
“you look beautiful.”
Hello Mar, I love your writing and the answers to the requests you've received thus far (especially the plushie one).
How would Kaiser, Rin & Sae react to their so being incapable of kicking a soccer ball? They either miss kicking it entirely due to lack of coordination and ehen they do kick it, it doesn't roll very far.
Thank you!
Their S/O Being Incapable of Kicking a Soccer Ball

Kaiser had never seen anything quite like this before.
"Liebling, what was that?" he asked, barely holding back his laughter as he watched you attempt to kick the soccer ball for the third time—only to miss it entirely. You stood there, foot still raised mid-air, blinking down at the completely untouched ball.
"I—I just miscalculated," you muttered, cheeks burning as you placed your foot back on the ground. "Let me try again."
Kaiser smirked, folding his arms. "Oh, by all means. This is the most entertainment I’ve had in weeks."
You huffed and squared your shoulders. This time, determined not to fail, you swung your foot back and kicked with all your might.
The ball rolled exactly two feet forward.
Silence. Then Kaiser burst out laughing, clutching his stomach as he doubled over. "Mein Gott, Liebling! That was precious. Are you sure you’re not secretly a pro?" He swiped a tear from his eye before sauntering over and ruffling your hair. "I think you should stick to watching me play instead. You’re much cuter that way."
You groaned, shoving his hand off. "You're the worst."
He only grinned. "And yet, you still love me."
Rin was usually a patient man. Usually.
"How… how are you this bad at it?" he asked, staring at you in utter disbelief.
You scowled at him, arms crossed. "It’s harder than it looks! I don’t have a foot made of steel like you."
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Okay, let’s try again. Stand properly. Balance your weight. And for the love of god, look at the ball."
You tried. You really did. But once again, your foot barely made contact, causing the ball to pathetically wobble forward.
Rin exhaled sharply through his nose. "That’s it. We're not leaving until you kick it properly."
Your eyes widened. "Rin, no."
"Rin, yes."
"I swear, if you make me do drills—"
"Start running."
"I hate you."
"No, you don’t. Now, again."
Sae was unimpressed. That much was obvious.
He watched as you lined up for another attempt. The first few times, you'd whiffed completely. The fourth time, you'd made contact, but the ball had barely budged. And now? Now you were overthinking it so much you looked like a robot about to malfunction.
With a long sigh, Sae pinched the bridge of his nose. "You're not fighting for your life. Just kick the damn ball."
"I'm trying!" you snapped, frustration bubbling over. "Some of us aren’t soccer prodigies, y'know."
Sae raised an eyebrow. "Clearly."
You turned away with a scowl, but before you could kick again, you felt hands on your waist. Your breath hitched as Sae leaned down, his voice low in your ear. "Here. Let me show you."
His foot ghosted over yours, adjusting your stance. He guided your leg back and forward, helping you make clean contact with the ball. It rolled smoothly across the grass.
He stepped back, crossing his arms. "See? Simple."
You turned to him with a glare. "Yeah, well, it’s easier when you're practically doing it for me."
Sae smirked. "So, you admit you need me."
You rolled your eyes, but the warmth on your face betrayed you. "Shut up."
He let out a soft chuckle, ruffling your hair before walking off. "Come on. Let’s try again. Maybe in another hundred years, you’ll actually get decent."
You groaned. This was going to be a long day.
