cult of the crossing animal or something idk
Here's an impromptu photodump about life on Caochan Eit from our very own island representative, Lynx!🪐🏝🐾🎣
Update on that: I've defeated three of the 4 regional phenomena (Tulin, Riju, and Mineru's quests), and I'm moving on to the Sidon and Yunobo quests now! The bosses are even more fun a second time around, and I missed the Stormwind Ark challenge SO MUCH!
So you'll never guess who restarted Tears Of The Kingdom on an alternative account so they could do more with the sky Islands before going anywhere else but got wayyyyy too excited about getting down to Hyrule and ended up forgetting their own plan entirely😅
It me... I'm still having a lot of fun, though. Re-experiencing everything has kinda shown me the game under a new lense, and I'm even MORE emotional about the Zelda, Rauru arm, and dragon lore than ever before!!!
I love that my fiancé and I kinda have matching islands but in different directions! Mine is a kinda cottagecore village with a welsh name and a tune from Lord Of The Rings/ The Hobbit, and my fiancé's island is a kinda cottagecore town with a Japanese name and a Studio Ghibli island tune! I love seeing that Lark is visiting from Komorebi with the title "Aspiring Pet" just as much as I'm sure xe loves seeing that Lynx is visiting from Caochan Eit with the title "Festive Pet". My energy is matched SO well down to every little detail🥰
Even our island names are kinda matching cottagecore vibes with xyr island name meaning "Light dappling through the trees" and mine meaning "A river hidden by vegetation" and "The act of leaving quartz crystals in riverbeds by moonlight to attract fish". Just very cottagecore vibes🌲🌟🪻
What if celestial cottagecore island that mainly has blue, white, green, purple, and gold as a color scheme, and I invite Tia, Baabara, Becky, Ione, Julian, Filbert, Eunice, Diva or Gloria, and Ed? Maybe Muffy? Like... kinda whimsigoth, maybe 60's/ 70's Renaissance revival as well, with a hint of dark fantasy?
You know how every few months I debate restarting my island? I'm getting that itch again lol, I just really love the hustle and bustle of restarting and making everything new and trying to level everything up again, and I love how unique each run is! I've never had the exact same run, and I've TRIED TO a few times just for fun! It's pure joy to have the motivation and goals in the beginning all over again
IT WAS LIONEL, I'M SO GENUINELY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED💕
He reminds me of a gingerbread prince! Genuinely, he's one of my favorite lions!!
Oh my gods, oh my gods, my first smug villager on my Valentine's Day island is heeeeere!! I'm so scared, most smug villagers REALLY aren't my cup of tea, wish me luck!🍀
(I promise you I'm going to clean up those weeds, I'm just so focused on story mode currently, so once that's completed, I'll clean up and genuinely decorate)
My partner bought a new pack of amiibo cards for Animal Crossing and got some pretty stellar characters (including Sasha, Quinn, Reneigh, and Raymond) and while none of them are my dreamies, I'm really thinking about inviting several of them despite none of them fitting my theme (aside from maybe Reneigh). It's really hard finding villagers that aren't ducks for a mystical fishing village island...
Oh, Filbert....💙🐿🩵

Reasons why I miss playing Spore and Wolf Quest as a kid in the family computer room
I don’t mean to be old but computer used to just have games. U didnt have to pay for em either but if u wanted u could get a little CD that put the game onto the computer and you could play it forever and ever even if the company that made it went to hell and shit. You didn’t even need the internet or wifi or anything. And it was pretty neat
Home of The Isle of Koi Pond (previously Cocoa Cove and Caochan Eit), but also now home to my other gaming endeavors!
