hey @pukicho i saw your art and i thought it was super cool! you improved so quickly (really impressive btw), and i was wondering what resources used to study art? and what app/website you digitally draw on? and your brushes if your okay with sharing them? and literally ANY other information you had because i would love to learn how to draw?

I use an XP-Pen Pen Tablet and Clip Studio Paint as my program of choice, but any pencil and notebook will suffice for learning, and may even be better. As for learning, I use books, baby!!! BOOKS! I'll even be nice and tell u which ones, because I am a lover of shared knowledge:

How To Draw by Scott Robtertson - deceptively complex book on perspective. It tells you how to draw a box, I then suggest you draw a fuck-load of boxes in correct perspective before moving forward. Having a strong grasp on planes and perspective allows you to properly grasp the volumes and shape of almost anything. It's the baseline principle to visualizing what u wanna draw. Without simple forms understood in perspective, you merely lack the skills necessary to draw from imagination.

Carlson's guide to landscape Painting - A good book, even if u don't intend to draw landscapes. Tons of clever explanations on lighting and value. Tons of useful relational shortcuts to understand complex scenery in smarter ways. I like the way he explains things, it makes me go ohhhh.

TACO point character drawing 1 & 2 - Two NEAT anatomy reference books. It's mostly just a collection of simplified, anime-esque proportional figure drawings. They're a great reference, but I absolutely wouldn't use it as my only set of books on anatomy. It's still useful to use and learn, but in a more general way - and I can't currently apply everything the book tells me yet, because I haven't learned the forms in more detail first.

The Human Figure by Jon H Vanderpoel - this is a short, but VERY useful anatomy reference book. The Author is from the early 1900s - real oldschool, which is good. He has a very useful, matter-of-fact writing style. This is the better starter book to use in order to remember the proportional relationships of the human body (even then, it's still not enough)

The Practice of Oil Painting & Drawing by Solomon J. Solomon - I'll be honest, this one makes sense to me conceptually, but I cannot fucking execute some of his practices. This dude is from the victorian era, his paintings are in museums and they're too good. It only makes sense that his views and approach to art are headier than some of the other suggestions on this list. The book is still useful, and I presume will only grow in usefulness as I learn. It does still have some cool ideas in the first-half of the book that you can easily apply to your art studies! But the second half is a series of master-derived schools of learning that I have yet to dare touch.

The hilarious thing about House MD being a loose Sherlock Holmes adaptation is that in the books and pretty much every adaptation Watson follows Holmes around whilst he solves cases and helps him solve the cases and in universe writes about them for an audience, so even though there are varying levels of homosexual vibes and they are friends there is at least a plot reason for Watson to be there all the time. In House though the ‘helping him solve the case’ role is given to his team so apart from House bouncing ideas off of him and the times it may or may not be cancer Wilson following house around to the extent that he does is just kind of Because. If you accept that Wilson is supposed to be the Watson figure in the show then it’s pretty funny that they got rid of all the motives Watson has for following Holmes around all the time and are just left with ‘he’s my bro’. Like he’s not there to solve the puzzles or to get Content out of House solving the puzzles but he is still always there; it ruins his marriage how much he is always there.

So with E we have the "spend the night because you walked here with an injury" scenario. How would the ROs react in the MCs position? As in the RO is injured and the MC invites them to stay the night

Elle/Ezra: Is used to being the caretaker type so would, first, be really appreciative and soft that MC would offer. Excitement at being able to stay the night (E is always happy to spend more time with MC) and then a little bit of...anxiety, maybe? Is this the trigger to something that they won't be able to take back?

Oliver: Immediately refuses at first. Doesn’t want to put MC out in any way. After some gentle convincing, would agree to stay. In the event that Oliver and MC have to sleep in the same bed, the panic begins. What is he even doing here? This is acting on his worst impulses, this isn't right.

Sabine: Also refuses at first, but a little less vehemently than Oliver. Is not-so-secretly thrilled. Wants to rifle through everything MC owns to learn everything there is to know about them.  

Gage: Makes himself right at home. This couldn’t have gone any better if he’d planned it himself. Maybe his injury will never get better. Maybe he’ll just sleep here with MC indefinitely. 

The ROs reaction to the MC falling asleep in their arms, clearly secure and feeling safe enough around them to just doze off without worry

Elle/Ezra: Smiles and dozes off with MC. Safe place for both of them. 

Oliver: Freezes up like MC is a cat they’re scared of spooking. Doesn’t move a muscle. If others around, shushes everyone who makes any slightly loud noise.

Sabine: Is bewildered and touched that MC feels that safe around her. Strokes their hair and lets them doze as long as they want. 

Gage: Wide eyes. Oh God, he wishes he had a camera. He wishes anyone still had a camera. 

The ROs reacting to the MC giving them flowers or some other pretty thing if flowers aren't available??

Ezra/Elle: Thinks about how to give MC something back for days afterward.

Oliver: Is silent for a little bit, processing the fact that MC saw something and thought of him.

Sabine: Reconsiders that maybe her love language is actually little gifts. Maybe her love language is anything MC does. 

Gage: Carries it around with him for as long as is possible. 

The LIs reaction to coming home and finding the MC lounging on their bed, either down to their underwear or nothing at all, greeting them with a flirty grin on their face. Silently asking them to join in some fun?

Assuming this is relationship-ish stage!

Elle/Ezra: Enormous grin. Steps back to completely take MC in and just admire them for a moment. Wow. How long have you been waiting like this? I would’ve come sooner. 

Oliver: Has his clothes off and MC underneath him in record-breaking time. If MC’s intention was to distract Oliver so completely he can’t remember what he was even doing before this, mission accomplished. 

Sabine: Pouts. She wanted to undress you herself. Well, two can play at that game. Teases MC by not immediately touching them and opts to take her own clothes off as slowly as humanly possible. 

Gage: Is he hallucinating? He’s been thinking about this all day, and now MC is actually in front of him? Seems unfair to everyone else who doesn’t get to come home to this.

Slightly NSFW? The reaction of the RO’s if MC keeps teasing them (like blowing air against their ear or tracing their fingers up their back) but dips out when the RO’s try to initiate even a kiss. This goes on for about a week, maybe two. Who literally can’t take it anymore first and who teases the MC back ;)

Love, love, love this. 

Elle/Ezra: Is happy to be teased a bit. E is always in their happy place with MC so very little gets to them. In it to tease and be teased. 

Oliver: Can’t take it. He’s above pleading, right? Not two weeks into getting teased by MC, he isn’t. 

Sabine: Also can’t take it. Teases back, but teases back with the intent of winning. 

Gage: Teases back. In the event that MC gets tired of their game and wants to end it, Gage keeps going. Torture him for a week? Back atcha.

Oliver: Deep breaths. Attempts to remain calm. Can’t. Has to touch the MC – everywhere, if he’s allowed. 

Sabine: Amazed and enamored. Actually looks...starstruck, almost? Never wants the lap dance to end.

Gage: Kisses everywhere. Interrupts the dance unashamedly. Will not let the MC pull away from him after the lap dance has started. 

!!!! That amnesia ask is literally my favorite trope (so happy someone asked it) so I’m gonna need to ask a few more questions about it. In continuing the same scenario (no memory of MC at all), RO’s reactions if MC directly tells them they’re in a serious romantic relationship with them?

Elle/Ezra: Does their best. Asks the MC how they should best go about this. Does the MC want to see E at all? Do they want to start where they left off? How can E make this as painless as possible? 

Oliver: This really freaks him out. Does not believe it. Avoids the MC for some time, before finally confronting it head on. Learns, eventually, to ask the MC direct questions. What was it like with us? Were we happy?

Sabine: Is immediately suspicious, but comes around eventually. Makes sure she talks to others who can confirm that story. Feels exceptionally sad when they all admit that she was very, very in love. 

Gage: Has no memory of being in a relationship, but is weirdly kind of proud of himself. Pats himself on the back. Good going, Gage, can’t believe you locked this one down. 

Okay! Love those answers! How about if MC is the one who gets amnesia? MC forgets they’re in a relationship with the RO but still remembers they know them (I don’t want them to forget their friendship with E😩). What do the ROs do?

Oooh boy, this is painful. 

Elle/Ezra: Tries desperately to convince themself that they’re fine going back to just friendship. Really, they are. It takes a while for E to really come to terms with the pain of losing the MC as a romantic partner (for now). 

Oliver: Oliver is so deeply heartbroken by this that he’s not sure where to put all that pain. Underneath that reaction is a real belief of his that the MC will not fall in love with him again; that it was a lucky break on his part. 

Sabine: Tries so desperately to be helpful that it’s probably a stressor to the MC after a while. Wants them to get their memories back so bad, and is so in denial of any other outcome, that she becomes obsessed with triggering old memories of them together. 

Gage: Is determined to start over with the MC. Is less motivated by the idea of getting their previous memories back, than he is of ensuring that they have a relationship in the future. He can win them over again. Right?
