i think this is the first art art ive posted on tumblr
i just got the data entry for Hope and oh my god?????? i love Alan he's so so so so silly silly oh my god Maybe its the dynamic of one character is disgustingly human with their emotions and to the other human emotions and stuff like that are a foreign concept that just tickles me the right way i dunno but theyre just my favorite
the way that robin goes from kind of hating Alan for getting in her head to slowly as you discover more and more artifacts to thanking him for telling her about them and encouraging him that he can find the rest of his network is beautiful.
also the fact that he thinks hope must be a bird because of the way the Emily Dickinson poem describes it means he must have never known hope before. Robin literally taught him what hope is. She gave him hope for the first time in god knows how long and even in his analytical literal-mindedness he understands that hope is something he needs to take care of and keep safe
its just a beautiful dynamic because again Robin is driven by human emotion shes on 4546B to find out what happened to Sam, she does this reckless thing based solely on her feelings, and Alan is the exact opposite. He only knows logic and rules and emotion gets in the way
AND AND AND the parallels between Robin losing Sam and Alan losing his connection to his network is beautiful because that means they have something in common, a link that they can work through to explain to one another
its just beautiful writing and im probably reading into it way too much but thats my fucking job
the subnautica brainrot is getting me
your days are numbered and i cant fucking count
one of my favorite youtubers (miniminuteman) made a video on vampire burials and im so fucking im im im im *vibrates*
he mentions so much stuff that most people dont even think/know about like coins in mouths and being buried upside down and the common connections between disease outbreaks and vampire hysteria
i literally fucking love vampires so much im so autistic and my hyperfixation oh lord oh boy oh me oh my oh gosh golly darn boy do i love vampires
imagine a vampire refusing to drink blood straight from the people faucet as it were because its the same thing as drinking milk straight from cow tiddies to them
i just fucking rediscovered the movie that was my monsterfucker awakening???? like damn little me was onto something because the tall skinny nervous dude archetype still fondles my brain TO THIS DAY
(the movie is Strange Magic (2015) btw and I just watched it for the second time in my life because I only ever saw it when it was first in theaters and then proceeded to forget it existed)
So, like any idiot who likes vampire manga/anime/any media, I watched/read The Case Study of Vanitas but that wasn't enough so I watched/read Seraph of the End and it's always itched my brain with how similar they are. Are they both based on some other story or something? Because a lot of the character archetypes are the same and in the same places. First we got Mikaela and Mikhail which I mean the similarities are already there between the names and they both have lighter color palettes, and then they both have a "family" character with a darker color palette (for Mika it's more of a found family thing in the same way as TOH because I mean. Him and Yu are so fucking gay) that goes apeshit. And THEN there's the archetype of ageless god figure who is visibly feminine but also described as a man (and in The Case Study of Vanitas Luna is described as a "he" in the beginning, referred to by Mikhail as "Father," and referred to by Vanitas as a "woman" but uses they/them pronouns) and then they are also widely blamed for the existence of the main problem of the series (malnomens in Vanitas no Carte and demons/horsemen/angels/vampires in Owari no Seraph) I know it's really just a couple archetypes but they feel so similar and if anybody can tell me if they're related somehow (like based on a different story) I would be really thankful
i just realized i shouldve sent the pictures of the prints i mentioned in my last post
thank you to the pretty lady with the nice dress who made them you were very nice and thank you for telling me about the way you draw hands
I love being delusional because I went to my first con yesterday and got a bunch of shit and I was just yknow walkin around and A CERTAIN MOTHERFUCKER catches my eye so I do a double take to make sure it was him and then I dropped $25 on an original artwork of Astarion
So, its established that dwarves have a heat tolerance of at least 180C/356F (the boiling point of olive oil). This is established in the episode where they fry shit and Senshi sticks his thumb in the oil and even says its 180 even if he doesnt specify F/C
This is fine. This makes sense. My problem is with the part where they boil the undine. Water boils at 100C/212F which is lower than the boiling point of oil but Namari and Senshi still jump away because ooo ouch lid hot hot
The lid can be hot hot but for them to release it and the undine to have stopped fighting just a moment before it would just barely be past the boiling point of the undine which we're gonna assume is the boiling point of water.
My point is how the fuck is Senshi unbothered by the heat of boiling oil thats 180C but he and Namari are blown back by the ouch too hot effect when the lid is around 100C.
Logic where
nothing beats playing slime rancher and using the jetpack but I hit something and the POV tilts and suddenly im back in the trenches because a ghost just rammed the cyclops
Hi! I'm Beebo and I'm a little goob who didn't make an account for the longest time because I do everything in my power to avoid making accounts for shit unless I absolutely have to. My hyperfixations/likes: -Blue Exorcist -The Case Study of Vanitas -Baldur's Gate III -Percy Jackson -Genshin Impact -vampires and faeries (in general) (i just like weird folklore) -Gravity Falls (toxic old man yaoi) (they are divorced and hate each other) -recently I've gotten into Seraph of the End and i HATE IT (i love it. it feeds my inner 12 y/o) -The Owl House -English vocaloid (GHOST, R.I.P. Vane, whatever else I find thats good) -Funky music (Will Wood, Lemon Demon, tallyhall) -Sexy villain music (Shayfer James but SPECIFICALLY Counterfeit Arcade bc im too scared to listen to his other stuff. Also Necromancin Dancin by Bear Ghost but I havent listened to any of their other shit so do they really count?) -Subnautica My little brain goobers (oc's) (please talk to me about them I'm constantly foaming at the mouth about them and I love to talk to people about my brain worms): -Grim & Iris (also known as my worldbuilding project): Human girl meets the grim twink reaper and ends up in another dimension that's kind of the afterlife and also kind of like a weird version of Olympus but not really -Viktor and Cecil: Just some oc's i made once that have consumed me entirely. Viktor is an anxious emotionally wet vampire and Cecil is a silly goofy monsterfucker who gets reincarnated every time they die but they resurrect at the same age and everyone around them just acts like they were always there (think Jason Grace memory situation at the start of HOO) -Dream OC's: A group of fuckers I had a dream about within the last week or so. Only 4 characters (Sebastian the witch, Damien the tiefling, Carmen the vampire, and Lana the human). No clue what im gonna do with them but hey! they exist! i'll yap about them!
My friend got tumblr and i wanted to follow him so im here now
