I NEED LONG HAIR ZUKO
He's such a cutie, yay, what makes me mad is that his hair is still short as hell, in the show his hair grows like there's no tomorrow but now there's literally been AGES.
when do we get this flowy beautiful hair in the comics like damn!
Talking about LoK: I liked the show overall but it had some pretty intense low points. It really shows how hard the studio tried to sabotage it, but I think it still turned out pretty well regardless
Talking about LoK when I hear a man complain about it: The Legend of Korra is actually one of the greatest, if not THE greatest show ever produced, and is superior to ATLA in every way actually. I can't think of a single episode that didn't have me on the edge of my seat. Korra has literally never done anything wrong in her life. Sorry you don't have taste.
i wish one day Korra and the krew visit the Fire Nation Capital and we see Izumi and her daughter appearing in the comics
i love azula but if her stans love her too then at least actually like her canon character yk 🤦♀️
I wonder when the inept Azula stans will realize that this innocent, sweet, caring young Azula “before she was corrupted” doesn’t exist and was never canon. She was not once shown to be some perfect child that got turned bad by Ozai (or Ursa? because people still think she did it? Somehow?). There was never a moment where she was purely friends with Ty Lee or Mai without an ulterior motive.
And no this isn’t saying she was “born evil” or that she has no chance of not being that ever, but more that those tendencies to be manipulative/selfish/cruel have always been there and that she was constantly exposed to an environment that brought out and encouraged those tendencies rather than teaching her to know better.
Ashes of the Academy does not change that. If anything, Ursa’s fear towards the academy being Azula’s downfall shows that she does NOT think her daughter was just “born evil” or anything like that. Again, nothing in the show, the books, or any of the comics infers that Azula was ever not like how she currently is because her environment and influences were consistent from the day she was born.
Too many people want to just say one singular person or thing is at fault for Azula being the way she is, and all of them are wrong. It’s a combination of her extremely manipulative and evil father, living in a country that was upholding the ideals of her father, her mother being largely unable to connect with her, and her status allowing her to get away with her worst tendencies unchecked. Stop reducing the characters you like into a checklist of one-dimensional traits and backstories and you may find them more interesting.
