A spokesperson for Amber has confirmed she WILL be appealing the verdict🎉

Amber Heard is finally free from her abuser. She will not have to pay him a penny (insurance will cover the $1 million), she has not admitted any guilt, and going forward she will be able to speak about the truth as much as she wants. Depp’s team must have been scared of her appeal to settle this much. Now she can (hopefully) live peacefully.

Do you think if (when) Amber wins she will have a chance to get her career back? It's well known that since all this mess started she's having trouble finding work. She literally WON the UK cases and that still wasn't enough, I'm scared that ugly man and his smear campaign and his ugly cult of fans have done enough damage to make people not want to hire her, afraid of the backlash they will get, and how that will affect their project. Even now basically no one seems to want to publicly support her because of it.

I really do. Perception towards her is already changing and a few years down the line she'll be culturally considered a 'wronged' celebrity which people always feel defensive over/sympathy towards. I've seen lots of comparisons to her and Britney, Lindsay Lohan etc. (the latter of whom is currently making an acting comeback). I'm not sure how involved with Hollywood she'll want to be though. She probably just wants to raise her daughter and continue with her activism.
