Hello, my name is Lama, and I am from Gaza City, specifically in the northern Gaza Strip. I grew up in a loving family of resilience and hope, with my parents working tirelessly to provide us with a life of dignity and opportunity. My father was our steadfast provider, and my mother was the heart of our home. I have two brothers and three sisters, the youngest of whom is just six months old. She is frail and often sick due to the lack of proper food and medicine. My siblings and I have shared dreams of education, careers and a bright future. But life in Gaza is marked by hardship, and when the war began, everything we had built was shattered. My older brother, a kind and a courageous soul, was martyred while trying to secure basic necessities for our survival, my younger sister was gravely injured, and the cost of her treatment weighs more than the universe to us, now the responsibility for my family has fallen on my shoulders.

Our home, once filled with warmth, laughter and memories, has been reduced to rubble. We have been displaced more than thirty times from place to a place with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Each time we returned, we found more destruction, we always clung to the hope of rebuilding, but in the last attack, our home was completely destroyed, we are now homeless, living in unsafe conditions with no shelter to protect us from the cold nights. The loss of our home is not just the loss of a building, it’s the loss of safety, stability, and the place where our dreams were nurtured.
With my father unemployed since the beginning of the war, we have no income to provide even the most basic necessities. Water, food, medicine, warm clothes and blankets-things that many take for granted-are beyond our reach. Every day is a battle for survival, and every night is a reminder of the dangers and struggles we face. I am determined to care for family and give my younger brothers and sisters a chance to grow up with hope. But I cannot do it alone.
I am reaching out to you with a plea for compassion and action. Your support can help us rebuild our lives, restore hope, and secure a future where my family can live in peace and safety. Every donation, no matter how small brings us closer to survival and dignity. Please for the sake of god and humanity, help us in this time of desperate need.

Help my family in Gaza and give them hope to live in peace 💔🚨
Hi, I am Ahmed from Palestine, from the northern part of Gaza City. I am 33 years old, married, and a father of two children. I live in the Jabalia refugee camp with my family, which consists of 19 members, in a four-story house.
Since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7th, life in northern Gaza has been extremely difficult, lacking basic necessities due to the siege imposed by the Israeli army on the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The occupation has blocked food, medicine, water, electricity, and even communication networks. Thousands of airstrikes have been carried out, and hundreds of massacres have been committed, mostly affecting innocent civilians, the majority of whom are children and women. The infrastructure, thousands of homes, and civilian facilities have been destroyed.
On May 12th, 2024, the Israeli army besieged the Jabalia camp for the second time and ordered us to evacuate, informing us that it was a military operation zone and a dangerous combat area. We were forced to leave our homes in the camp and flee under heavy bombardment and intense gunfire, navigating through the rubble and bodies lying in the streets and on the roads. We became homeless, with no food or water. During this difficult siege, I lost two of my brothers, Abdullah, 30 years old, and Atallah, 26 years old, due to random shelling and airstrikes on the camp.
Why am I collecting donations?
After more than 15 months of war, on January 19th, 2025, the ceasefire came into effect, and we returned to the camp to check on our home. However, we were shocked by the extent of the destruction and devastation in the camp. The homes had turned into piles of rubble, and we could no longer recognize the places or roads due to the scale of the damage. Our house was completely destroyed, leaving us homeless. Now, my family and I live in a small tent that is insufficient for the number of family members. It offers no privacy, no bathroom, no kitchen, and it does not protect us from the summer heat or the winter cold. We are living in an overcrowded environment with displaced people, chaos, piles of garbage, and the spread of diseases, especially among the displaced children.
This war has forced us to live in extremely harsh conditions and an environment that is unfit for human life. We continue to suffer every day from the ongoing war, repeated displacement, lack of resources and essentials, fear, pain, and oppression. Not to mention the hardship of fetching water, standing in long queues for basic needs, and struggling to find food—another challenge added to our suffering in this devastating war that is destroying people, buildings, trees, and animals. All of this has exhausted our bodies and deeply affected our mental well-being.
Therefore, I am reaching out to you through this humanitarian platform to help me support my family, rebuild our destroyed home, and contribute to providing the basic necessities of life so that I can live with my family with dignity and freedom.
• How will these donations be used?
1) An apartment will be rented to temporarily house my family until the reconstruction of the destroyed house is completed, as an alternative to a tent, at a cost of $600 per month for at least two years. (An estimated total cost of $14,000 over the two years.)
2) Purchase the basic tools and equipment necessary to furnish the rented apartment at an estimated cost of $5,000.
3) Purchase clothing and basic necessities for all family members at an estimated cost of $6,000.
4) Remove the rubble of the destroyed house and rebuild it at an estimated cost of $140,000.
5) Purchase the tools and equipment necessary to furnish all apartments in the new house at an estimated cost of $35,000.
• How does your donation and support make a difference?
Your support and donation is a noble humanitarian cause that supports and strengthens our resilience during the war. This contribution, even if it is small, will make a huge difference in my life and the life of my family.
Please help us to live in safety and peace, to start over to achieve our ambitions and dreams, and to create a safe environment for our children that will provide them with a bright future.

In Gaza, 🇵🇸🍉
For months, my family and I haven't tasted any fresh vegetables or meat. Obtaining bread has become an impossible task. Hunger has reached the point where we've been forced to sell some of our personal and household belongings, which we acquired after our house was completely demolished, to raise money for our basic needs amid the skyrocketing prices of flour and other scarce goods available in the markets.
The severe restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial goods have led to the depletion of everything in the markets and the rise in prices. As a result, famine has "eaten" our bodies. Due to the intense hunger, we eat flour that is infested with weevils and insects.

Hello, I'm Asmaa from Gaza.
I was born in 1991.
I'm a girl from a family of seven boys and six girls, and I'm the youngest.
My mother and I live in a house left to us by my father. I studied at university and graduated with a degree in basic education.
I worked in a private job and received a salary that covered my expenses as much as possible.
We were happy until the war came.
The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.
Here, hell began for us in Gaza. I lost my job and became unemployed. My mother owns nothing, and I own nothing now.
My mother was displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. It was months of longing for my mother and siblings.
My brothers, Mahmoud, and Ashraf stayed behind.
We cried several times because I live in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, a border area close to the army.
During the displacement on June 27, 2024, we left the house and raced down the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the lightning strike. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape. Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers. I lost my beloved son Mahmoud. Ashraf Mahmoud left no children. As for Ashraf, he left behind his sons who are grieving, and my mother is in pain because they departed to God without saying goodbye, without a kiss on their forehead, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house had been severely damaged by demolition and stones that had fallen from their places, which used to shelter us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out tarpaulins that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Our suffering is great, but with your help, we may reach a better life and a dignified life. May God bless you all.
