Hi, everyone!
In case you have no heard, Tumblr is considering changing its post editing format such that, in summary, limits are going to be imposed on word count and paragraphs– meaning, this can potentially be a problem for writers like me, especially for those that post stories that are exceptionally long! The change has not been implemented yet and the staff is looking for feedback, so on behalf of all the writers in the fandom, please please please inform the staff of the negative impacts this change can cause! If it is in fact implemented, this can lead to a mass exodus of writers off the platform– which may include myself– that will dramatically alter the fandom culture on this site. Operating solely out of Ao3 is not ideal, because I love the interaction I have with my mutuals and followers that is specific to this site. So please, be vocal about the impact this update will have!
Despite its quirks and hiccups, we writers do love Tumblr and don’t want to have to abandon all the work here to move platforms. Let’s work together to make our voices heard and tell the staff that this new post editing update will do more harm than good!

For months, my family and I haven't tasted any fresh vegetables or meat. Obtaining bread has become an impossible task. Hunger has reached the point where we've been forced to sell some of our personal and household belongings, which we acquired after our house was completely demolished, to raise money for our basic needs amid the skyrocketing prices of flour and other scarce goods available in the markets.
The severe restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial goods have led to the depletion of everything in the markets and the rise in prices. As a result, famine has "eaten" our bodies. Due to the intense hunger, we eat flour that is infested with weevils and insects.

hi everyone, i don't like having to do this as much as you don't like having to see it but my last post lost traction and once again i need to ask for your help.
i'm a disabled south american trans woman and things are rough. my mom is still undergoing cancer treatment and because of my disability and the fact that i'm a trans woman i can only find jobs doing odd gigs.
the cost of living in my country has become absurdly high and it keeps rising, and i don't manage to scratch even a fifth of it, so i come here to you begging and asking for help to at the very least be able to cover my mom's transportation to her oncologist and have a daily meal. once again i apologize for intruding and i thank any and every bit of generosity you could share with me, even in the form of reblogging this post

Oh dang, I haven't checked up on Tumblr in awhile so I've been making rounds trying to piece back together folks I haven't checked up again in awhile. Sorry for how long it's been since I've lasted popped up. I would've reblogged and boosted far sooner had I known.
I really hope you get your help soon, I've never had something messing with my plumbing like that in years...But I still remember the hospital trips to this day.
Hopefully things will get better, with a little luck and everyone doing what they can to support ya.
Well for those who have been paying attention this won't come as a surprise, but my health has been quickly deteriorating since February
or to put it more blunty I've had the shits for over 2 months now and that has completely fucked my health
We're still trying to figure out what caused this, but there's been no new developments
So that has left me with two options:
I either continue to rely on my country's universe health care system and continue to wait months between tests, and continue to let my physical and mental health go to shit (haha) even longer
OR I talk to a private clinic about this and start paying to get this dealt with as quickly as possible
This donation goal is to help me do the latter, so my life can return to some sense of normality and so I don't need extra cushions to sit at the lunch table anymore
Anything helps at this point. Even if you can't donate just giving this a boost would do wonders

Over the last 12 months I have:
Submitted 3,000+ applications/resumes.
Had 100+ interviews.
Got 1 job that I was constantly misgendered at, and upon informing HR, was then cyber-stalked by my bosses.
Got 1 freelance opportunity who, after two weeks, realized they had hired too many people and then let everyone go who was hired - me included.
Ran out of unemployment, drained my savings, maxed out my credit, and fully lost my insurance.
Unfortunately, even if I got a job RIGHT NOW, I would be unable to pay rent and bills for the foreseeable future.
I am constantly applying for jobs and trying to keep everything above water, but at this point I've become desperate for help.

It's my city! It was fully with life until the butchers passed through it! Since the beginning of the massacres, I've been struggling to save myself and my family.
I am Mohammed from Gaza I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
a 31-year-old living amidst the war in Gaza, a place deeply affected by conflict and hardship. I hold a Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences , I graduated with very good But Unfortunately, I did not get a job opportunity.

Before the outbreak of war, my family and I had a comfortable life in our beautiful home filled with cherished memories. However, since the conflict began, our lives have been turned upside down. We now find ourselves living in a small tent, exposed to the harsh elements and constant threat of violence.
Our home, which once embraced us, is now destroyed It became a remembrance

The situation here is dire. Food and basic necessities are scarce, and famine and malnutrition have become rampant. Our lives are hanging by a thread, and we fear for the safety and well-being of our children every single day.
The cost of living here has become extremely high. All of our resources are going towards securing food and trying to escape from disaster, desperately seeking a lifeline.
We are yearning to escape this nightmare and rebuild our lives in a safe place.
However, the cost of traveling to a safer area was beyond our means.
Each ticket cost $5000 per person,
a sum that was impossible for us to bear. Now, the border crossing is closed, and things continue to worsen.
We want to collect donations to leave Gaza if the crossing opens
