If we could stop using the word "cheated" to describe the Robby/Zara situation when it was straight up SA, that would be great!

I was surprised by the lack of empathy that miyagi do had most of part 2 (mostly to robby). They are supossed to be good and a team, but they did not show that until the last two episodes. I don't know if it was poor writing, or what, but their behaviour towards their own teammates was shitty and backstabbing.

Mary Mouser and Tanner Buchanan deserve the biggest apologies from the Cobra Kai fandom... the way people constantly hate on them for no good reason is disgusting.

Mary gained weight due to diabetes. And even if it was for another reason, why do people care so much? She's still just as stunningly beautiful as she was before and it clearly has not affected her ability to portray a karate student. Calling her "Ham" is not funny. It's not original. It doesn't make you look cool. It's immensely childish behavior and makes me ashamed to be a part of this fandom. None of the jokes concerning the way she looks are in any way entertaining or funny, but for some reason they're under every post about Mary or Sam. It's sad how hateful people like that have managed to bully a sweet, kind person like Mary Mouser into posting less off of herself in the internet.

Tanner has a style. He wears certain clothes that aren't considered "masculine" and sometimes he wears makeup. So what? You don't know him, his clothing should not matter to you. The way he dresses does not immediately mean he's gay. But again, if he was, why do people care so much? Let him express himself the way he wants to without flooding his comments with insults. Just like with the comments about Mary, calling Tanner gay like it's a bad thing and making nasty remarks about the way he looks is not funny. They're not in any way necessary. They make you look immature and overall like an extremely unpleasant person.

Hi, I just want to vent about the brawl. This is a rant so, be warned.

So we all agree Tory will end up winning this tournament out of pity right?

Cause I'm sorry, but the show just stablished she needed Robby to save her from Zara and Sam to save her from the other Iron Dragons guy.

She needed to be fucking saved. TWICE. Instead of idk, having her get the glory for more than one hit?

So basically they are telling us "Tory will win, but that's cause Sam will not compete" since there's a leak saying she will be so torn cause of the death (that I'm still processing) she will abandon karate all together.

And people have the audacity to say the writers prefer Tory.

No, they don't.

Giving her a storyline and doing this is not liking the character.

They are saying Tory will never beat Sam no matter what she does, she can train whatever style she wants with whatever sensei she wants, but Sam and the power of Miyagi Do will always come out on top.

She had the BEST motivation, the best reason to win, and she will most likely, but not out of merit, she will win and again there will be this cast of doubt of "but what if Sam continued?"

Cause she can never beat Sam, no matter what. Sam is the writers favorite, even without storyline they will never let her have a clear loss against Tory.

sorry im really pissed this was cut because it could’ve showcased tory’s improvement of her skills and her being able to hold her own.

+ i did like the scene between zara and tory but it was shortlived , and the fight scenes we got with tory in the big brawl was a bit of her ass getting beat.

i wish they showed more tory fighting in the brawl and this choreography would’ve ATE😭 nah this pmo man.

this is not me bitching and moaning.. just wish we had really cool fighting scenes with tory in the big brawl. but i DO get that not everything could’ve made it.. but still 🙁

In a much more serious note, lord knows what happened between Zara and Robby, but Robby did not cheat, he was taken advantage of. And of course the series will never outright say it was that way even after clearly showing Robby wasn't in his five senses. Sure, it's realistic for víctims to feel like they had any responsibility of what happened to them like Robby did when he blamed himself for it, but knowing Cobra Kai? I'm sure he said that because the writers wanted to frame it as Robby cheating on Tory to create conflict and nothing more.

I'm so glad so many people are pointing this out too. And dont even get me started about Robby drinking man. The issues of a child who barely knew a life where his parents were completely sober from drugs or alcohol are complex, and the possibility of Robby turning to alcohol as a coping mechanism isn't nonexistent, but they be writing these dialogue and story points LIKE THEY MEAN NOTHING.

There’s probably going to be some down time at the beginning of part 3 before the story picks up speed again, so hopefully Robby will have some time to be able to talk to Tory (or anyone) about what happened with Zara because we cannot end the show with Tory believing Robby cheated and Robby having even more trauma that he has to keep inside

all robby needed was some actual words of affirmation and for someone to believe in him for him to actually focus.

at the start, EVERYONE clocks that robby might not be okay. miguel says ‘robby is gonna be fine’ ,, demetri responds with ‘i wouldn’t be fine’ and shit he’s right because i wouldn’t be fine either. i’d be in a shambles 🙁

in the hotel room, where they’re yapping about robby with no shame knowing he’s in the room WITH them just taking a shower and talking about his performance. they KNOW what the issue is.

but noooo instead of being good friends / teammates we’re gonna shit talk him, and not be there for him.

it was OBVIOUS what the issue was, LIKE SEE-THROUGH, GLASS, VERY CLEAR. like after watching that shit you can’t tell me that people in miyagi do actually gaf about him. poor dude was obviously not okay and struggling but instead, people taking slick ass jabs at him, yapping and bitching and moaning about a captain title.. instead of simply being there for him.

to further emphasise on that let’s talk about bar scene.. robby in that bar, sam left. but his team WAS there. you’re telling me that they all just left knowing damn well robby still in that fucking bar drinking up a storm. more so, how could they NOT know?? and people expect me to believe they CARE?

maybe in another universe, not this one.

i said this before but it took miguel way too long to apologise to robby + ask what’s wrong. robby just got done dirty over and over again in this part.

i was expecting robby to be unbalanced becasue of tory, i was thinking it would’ve happened maybe twice? but it was literally annoying continuous. it pissed me off actually.

like no one believes in him, girlfriend put him on break, gets SA’d, doing terribly in fights, what the fuck man?

i was gonna add johnny in this and say that johnny should’ve picked up on it but he cares more about devon, miguel than his actual son.

Leadership is not tearing your fucking captain down when he is at his lowest knowing well enough that his loss means yours as well. I can already see all the comments saying Miguel should have been captain but I think that scene alone proved the contrary. I understand both ways and I know it was probably really frustrating how unfocused Robby was at first, but everyone was blaming him and just one good word from ANYONE could have been enough to at least not tear him down completely and everyone failed at that.

excited for part 3, but realising when that drops cobra kai ends is a weird feeling. also a feeling i cant describe because it just feels weird?!

i fell in love with the characters the cast. it’s all just crazy lol.

sidenote: considering sekai taikai will probably be over in like one or two episodes max, i hope we get the couples finally able to be couples.

Of seeing Sam drunk and kiss Miguel and getting so angry because he thought Miguel took advantage of her. Of him being sad and discouraged and so completely alone and getting drunk for the first time in his life. Of him being so wasted he couldn’t even string a sentence together—couldn’t even utter a single word—in response to Kwon. Of Zara eyeing all this happen. Of him waking up the next day, stumbling out of a hotel room that’s not his looking completely out of it and confused and saying he “can’t remember what happened.” Of Zara kissing him while he stands there numb and unresponsive until he stumbles off, still looking lost and sad and barely aware of his surroundings. Smth smth all of. That.

Sooo is no one gonna talk about how robby was literally assaulted ?? They better talk about this in part 3 istg. Also, why did no question why robby was not with the team ?? And how did no one notice he was drunk ?? Also, how didn't sam notice ?
