This is Charles. He wants to go on a journey around tumblr. could you show him around?
I'm not sure if this will come out right but:
Being loved is NOT a reward for being beneficial or useful in any way. You don't become less deserving of being loved if you aren't productive for a day or if you have a bad day and can't get out of bed.
I promise. Being loved has nothing to do with how you "help" the world or those around you.

its really nice to see someone talking about this, i think its so important since just the other day my younger brother (a self identified gamer) ,when i was gonna change a game in easy mode since i couldn’t beat a battle, asked why that existed since its “cheating” and i realized that most people don't understand playing games isn’t supposed to be incredibly stressful and unfun. video games should be able to adjust to your abilities so everyone can have fun.
I also really like how minecraft has those sound captions and the arrows showing where they’re coming from. It makes minecraft one of the few games I can play without being paranoid if the sound are coming from the game or not.
also heres some hot takes for accessibility features that i feel should be in every game no matter what
interchangeable one handed controls (yes, even directional input)
all captions, including sounds ("[pig oinks]" etc)
high and low contrast modes
easy mode.

Big math news! It’s been thirty years since mathematicians last found a convex pentagon that could “tile the plane.” The latest discovery (by Jennifer McLoud-Mann, Casey Mann, and David Von Derau) was published earlier this month. Full story.
It's coming up unfortunately and it's probably the most stressful week you'll have in the semester and for some reason, every time it comes around it seems like the universe has it out for you. Here are some tips that have helped me and hopefully can help you!!! Feel free to add on!
Carry water with you everywhere. Nervous? Drink. Tired? Drink. Angry? Drink. Get hydrated and drink lots of water.
Don't cram. Get GOOD sleep. No all-nighters. Please
Start studying now. When the week comes, you'll be too stressed to actually study effectively
Take walks. When you get stressed and overwhelmed, take a walk! Get out of your room and head and just walk until you feel better (please be safe though)
Caffeine
Eat something healthy. Not everything has to be healthy. But some foods like salmon, broccoli, whatever. Nourish your body and it'll nourish you back
Save some money so you can take the week off.
Have a relaxing outlet that doesn't take energy. Maybe a cozy game? Latte art?
Play with some animals. This is scientifically proven to reduce stress btw so it's for health reasons
Your finals don't always happen when your classes happen so make sure you triple check dates and times
Feel some sunshine
Get a good Playlist that makes you happy
Try some yoga or something to distract yourself when you wanna cry
Learn how to harvest salt from your tears
If it's a cumulative final, go through past exams and quizzes and stuff. Those tend to cover the "important" material and will likely show up
Make cute study sheets! I know if my notes look boring I CAN'T study
Naps! Bonus if they're with animals
Try to get a study group together and study and chill
Believe in yourself! You got this!!!! You're better than you think and I have full faith in you and your abilities!
If you love the class, study because you love it!
If you hate the class, study so you never have to see that fucking teacher and listen to that stupid class ever again in your entire life.
Make yourself happy, cute drinks and happy, cute meals
Celebrate at the end. Please. You deserve it
Don't let it consume your every waking moment. It's just a test. Just another test
Tell yourself how amazing you are. You're doing something not everyone even gets the chance to. That's super awesome!!!
Eat some cake
Gum and crunchy veggies are both great stress busters
I've talked about European Citizens' Initiatives before: they're a way for citizens to request the EU to adopt certain directives. Once an initiative passes 1 million signatures from at least 7 European countries, the EU is obligated to hold a public hearing and issue a formal reply to the initiative. These initiatives have been successful before, and can lead to tangible change.
A new initiative has been uploaded this month, asking the EU to ban the sponsoring and advertising of fossil fuels. Halting the use of fossil fuels is a major step towards mitigating climate change.
If you're a European citizen, please exercise your rights and sign European Citizens' Initiatives you feel would make a positive impact.
