trauma
thinking about the narrator again
like he feeds of praise and being criticized is like twisting a knife in his gut, but he also doesn’t care about how other actually feel about his game, as long as they talk about how amazing he is
and the skip button fucking destroys him because of this, breaks him down to a point where interaction alone is more rewarding that praise normally. worst of all is that he back himself into a corner, a cold, empty corner, all because he wanted to be adored by the masses
and i think cookie9 saying “they should add a skip button” is what made the narrator do this. with the other reviews, they give no “this would make it better”, only criticism. but with cookie9, the narrator knows exactly what they want, he knows what would make them like him.
with all the other reviews, he defends himself, he doesn’t want to put in the work of think what would make them like me? but cookie9 gives that to him directly, makes it easy
he doesnt actually want to change his game to make is appetizing to everyone, he just want everyone to like it. and a skip button wouldn’t change much, would it?
assign a key to it, that’s small and unobtrusive! his game is still the same and cookie9 will surely edit their review saying how much they adore the new change!
and that totally happens idk what y’all are talking about
I'm glad a lot of people headcanon apollo justice as trans (and I agree) but my hot take is that he's the kinda guy that goes on T and learns he has the male pattern baldness gene. he hits 30 and turns into this genre of man:
like you knowwww his business card has a logo that's just glasses and beard
modern-day changeling tales
My man's tired of this bs
(this was an excuse to toy around with Stanley's hairstyle & to draw with the pixel brush- also I'm sorry if this look like trash btw, and drawing hands are a pain for me and after about like 5 tries I gave up and said "the hell with it" and called it a day)
I honestly don't know what else to post so, here is a cool dude I drew
What if Jack is missing because he’s trapped in Wonderland?
As we know from Eva, you don’t have to be dead to access Wonderland
When he shows up in Spectacle, it seems like he’s in Wonderland now that we know what it looks like:
How he ended up there, whether he was trapped by Bon, or something happened that we can’t even comprehend yet - I don’t know. But the way he is shown to be still “around” is very similar to how people/entities show up through analog all throughout the series.
Some examples from previous episodes under the read more
We know from Lucky You that if you’re in Wonderland, you’re able to use analog to communicate with the outside world.
And that’s exactly how Jack keeps showing up to signify that he’s still “here”.
The first instance is in Little Bon’s Neighborhood, which is shown on video tape:
He also shows up on Tape #1 several times in Relocate Project:
Then on the Technical Support tape:
I think even more instances of him showing up as a distorted figure specifically in video tapes can be found in the episodes (eg. at the end of Bunnyfarm when he’s leaving the voicemail) or in other miscellaneous medias, if anyone can think of any lmk!
On top of his appearance in Spectacle, it’s been heavily implied by Martin that Jack is still alive unlike all the other “missing” people.
He also attempts to communicate a lot more frequently through analog than any of the others who are in Wonderland, which makes sense if he’s wanting to be found.
Maybe if he really is there, he had found Edd and Molly so they’re not alone at least :(
me knowing damn well that i’ll always have a fat crush on the narrator and will always want to see him being a shy silly evil bbg no matter what happens
