A lot of people like collecting the cool tabs from cans but end up not knowing what to do with them, i like to do these
1. Aquire the string or elastic in the length you need, add a few inches/centimeters and clip it (or knot it). You can measure the wrist of the individual who plans to wear it or if you wanna do it how i do, eyeball it. You dont have to do this but if you want it to be more sturdy, double and fold your material in half. I personally give myself a loooot of slack because it works for me but you can probably manage without as much as i use.
2. This parts a bit hard to explain but this is the part where the tabs start to go onto the string. I’ll explain it as best as i can but essentially you have a top layer and a bottom layer. My top layer is the red and the bottom layer is the black.
To start it off, youll feed your material through the two tabs on the left as shown. The string goes downward through the top and bottom tabs with the tail coming out underneath the bottom layer tab.
3. Bring another bottom layer tab, feed your string upward through it and your top layer tab.
4. Add another top layer tab, feed the tail of your material downward through it and the bottom layer tab below it
5. Continue the steps above until its long enough to wrap around the wrist of the person its for. Youll likely need between 20-30 tabs total.
6. Now its time to end it. Feed your tail end up through the bottom layer tab at the very beginning.
8. Now youll feed your tail end up through the top layer tab you just added. Now you have two ends next to each other. You can tie these together but i highly recommend supergluing the knot just for security, especially if youre using the same material i am.
And now you are done !
Ps, if you make one i wanna see photos !!!
speaking about movies - which films and cartoons are your favorite? what can you recommend?
I've been told I have pretty bad taste lol, I tend to prefer surrealist stuff with horror, unique art styles [like stop motion], and/or comedy vibes. I really like stuff that has deeper meaning to it as well.
One I got into recently was Junk Head!
It's all four of those things, and just really sweet and silly as well. It's about a future where humans have basically become robots and are unable to procreate anymore so one man is sent down to a lower world full of mutants to find out a way to save humanity. It's free on YouTube as well
Warning for: gore/violence
I also got really into Wes Anderson movies recently [Isle of Dogs, Fantastic Mr Fox, Asteroid City]
All three are really good. The animation is probably one of my favorite stop motion styles. I love how the characters move.
There's a couple online series I've gotten into a lot as well being Kraina Grzybów TV - Smile Guide, and U M A M I's Interface
I genuinely do not know the actual plot of Smile Guide. Its fake "how too" guides and is very nonesensical. I think it's about a girl who died and is going through hell guided by a giant squirrel? It's very funny as well as spooky.
Warning for: jump scares, loud noises, flashing imagery
Interface follows a clown demon and an immortal man traveling through the world of interface. It's very bitter sweet. I adore Mischief [the clown] a lot.
Warning for: flashing lights
Then there's Gregory Horror Show, which is also available free on YouTube with some missing episodes
Which is about lost souls stuck in a hotel owned by a bastard rat man. The character designs in this show are so good
Warning for: cartoon violence, general adult themes though they're pretty mild
Then recently I finished this one as well that's *also* available to watch on YouTube
Strange hill high follows the three main characters Mitchell, Becky, and Templeton as they attend a very weird school.
It's made with puppets and 3D animation, the character deisgns in this one are also great
Warning for: gross-out humor, this one's aimed at a younger audience so it's otherwise pretty safe.

Hwiccewyrm trispiculum lived during the late Triassic, around 208-202 million years ago, in what is now England. It was one of the last known members of the procolophonid family, a lineage of small stocky lizard-like animals that had been widespread and abundant earlier in the Triassic.
(Traditionally procolophonids are classified as parareptiles, but some recent studies suggest this group is paraphyletic or polyphyletic, with some "parareptiles" potentially nesting within the diapsids instead.)
Measuring around 30cm long (~1'), Hwiccewyrm had wide flaring cheek bones ornamented with large spines, and like some other procolophonids it may also have had bony scute armor on its body. Its large blunt teeth suggest it was feeding on particularly tough foods such as fibrous vegetation or hard-shelled invertebrates.

It increasingly feels like securing a publisher as an indie game dev isn't as much of a "solution" as it used to be. Seems like I'm constantly hearing about devs fighting with publishers or really poor performance on launch. Am I crazy? Is this just some kind of insane bias I've stumbled into because of who I know / the games I pay attention to? Anyone have any like... good stories to share about their publisher?
