I do enjoy Dean getting initially twitchy and weird over fake dating Cas for a case and being super awkward with it BUT I also love the idea(and actually find it to be a bit more canon) of him immediately falling into the role perfectly and Cas being the awkward one. Because Deans a romantic at heart and if he’s gonna play a role he’s gonna play it. He goes full romcom. Pet names just rolling off the tongue and pda becomes instant second nature. He’s slapping his ass and slipping his arm around his waist while Cas is stiff as a statue. He manually puts Cas’ hand into his back pocket while they’re walking like “cmon man we gotta sell it!” He plants a kiss on wide eyed Cas’ cheek and manages to not blush until he’s rounded the corner while Cas bluescreens. Hes got their hands intertwined every chance he gets. Cas eventually catches up and when hes the one to initiate that’s when Dean loses every bit of cool he had. Cas calls him pet names and he instantly chokes on his own tongue. Cas slides his hand into Deans back pocket like he told him to and Dean almost jumps out of his skin. Cas kisses him and you can almost see the smoke pouring out of his ears. He can dish it out but he can’t take it

Let's say Will gets to be the hero for season 5. At El's side, they are able to put an end to Vecna. All that's left is sealing up the Upside Down forever.

The tricky part is, Will, because he's connected to Vecna/The Mind Flayer, is aware of how to seal the Upside Down forever. But it potentially requires a sacrifice. Someone to be on the other side to zip it shut for good. (or at least, until the next evil person gets yeeted to the Upside Dow by mistake and becomes a super villain). Doing this will fix the barrier between the planes, preventing gates from easily being torn open.

Will doesn't tell anyone this. He just says he has a plan and to wait for him. He acknowledges he might never get back though and plans to just seal it up with him inside to prevent his friends and family from trying to stop him from doing what needs to be done.

They wait a while and everyone starts to get suspicious. Especially El.

Will has almost completed the task and he's probably a mess emotionally like, "This sucks, but I can't let this happen to anyone else. 😥 Never again." The whole dramatic "close your eyes before completing the deed" thing.

But then he hears, "OH NO YOU DON'T". Before he even knows what's happening, he feels himself being pulled right back through to the other side right before it gets sealed up forever. Something he probably couldn't have done on his own.

When he opens his eyes again and looks up, El is standing above him with a minor nosebleed looking pissed, panicked, and sad all at the same time.

"HOW DARE YOU TRY TO DO THAT ON YOUR OWN!" she screams followed by hugging him so tight that he chokes a little bit.

Yes, Will saved the world and almost committed the ultimate sacrifice, but his sister said "HELL NO" and managed to save him in the nick of time.

The reason seasons 12 and 15 are so Destiel heavy is because they were building up their closeness knowing they were going to kill Cas at the end and leave Dean behind heartbroken. They were making the audience as invested as Dean is in their relationship to make us as heartbroken.

I should also include S6/7 in this. Everything leading up to the pinnacle TMWWBK episode, and ultimately Cas' death. Dean's depression and first widowers arc in S7.

I guess it needs to be said that I don’t hate people who ship Mileven. I don’t even think they’re stupid! I just genuinely don’t understand and frankly, I don’t care enough to seek understanding. If you feel the same way about Byler, I don’t care. I’m definitely not getting paid to convert anyone. Y’all do you, and I will do me.

I might be alone on this but I’m *not* excited for the ST Twitter script snippets. Idk it just feels weird that they’d dump the scam tweet and then immediately try and replace what we thought was the script with their own “real” snippets (I say “real” in quotations bc as the writers they’re at liberty to hide anything they consider a spoiler. What they give us could totally be doctored). Like they haven’t explained why the script through 8flix was fake and they didn’t reach out to Nick first? This has been going on for years. He’s in the industry AND in the Netflix circle. I’m not saying the 8flix script is real but I’m not convinced it’s fake and I also feel wary that they are just posting snippets weekly now. It’s SO fishy

And the longer they wait to post it the more sus it all seems to be perfectly honest.
