I could probably yap about wards' character development and as much as I love his character he would not have been as memorable or great if they gave him a redemption arc in season 2 and I'm so glad they didn't.
It would be a different story if they prolonged the Hydra arc over, say, the first 3 seasons and had him be a reoccurring character similar to Zuko from Atla then a redemption arc would have made sense.
BUT IM SO GLAD THEY DIDNT BECAUSE HIS CHARACTER IS SO INTERESTING
He's probably one of my favourite antagonist characters. Purely because that boy was for himself and himself ALONE.
I am convinced that if Shield had the upper hand over Hydra after the events at the end of season 1 HE WOULD HAVE 100% surrendered and been like "you guys have shown me the light and meaning in teamwork and family 🥹"
His motive was I had to do what I had to do to ensure my survival and no one can convince me to do otherwise.
I also don't believe he truly loved Skye. I think he saw that they had commonality. ALSO, she saw him as a "good guy" and "saviour" she was one of the last to find out he was a traitor so I bet he thought he could manipulate her into believing him and continuing to worship him as a good guy. BUT Skye is smarter than he credited her for, and also, she's more loyal than he gave her credit for. He's the type to be loyal to a person. She's the type to be loyal to a family. Because that's all she ever wanted. And that was his mistake in believing that she would remain loyal to him alone.
Also him repeatedly trying to redeem himself in season 2 was just because he realised that him being with family was better than him being alone and except he realised that way too late.

Yoyo went from irritating me to being the only one making sense regarding coulson. She was the only one who didn't allow her emotions to cloud her judgement regarding him and the situation at stake. Stop because some people make me laugh. There's this author on tiktok who read a book that basically says I don't think Shakespeare actually wrote his plays and poems I think a woman who had no title did who could not publish so she used Shakespeares name.

She then proceeded to write a book inspired by the aforementioned book again saying that Shakespeare is a woman.

I know it’s a tv show but how the fuck did Daisy have the time to get ready, curl her hair, makeup, every morning and then go on a mission? Like I struggle to get out of bed sometimes. Girl was on a different level, they all were.
Rewatching season 1 of agents of shield with my mom, and it's got me thinking about the daisy and ward parallels. (Also, given me an edit idea more on that later I BEG an editor sees this)
They both didn't have the best childhoods. They both were lost for some time. They both represent who they would have turned out to be had they been taken in by different people. And it's just so

No gets how funny their interactions are because he's so nauseatingly apologetic yet fake at the same time and she's so rightfully done with his bullshit she's just like kys or ill do it for you to his face
I wish more people in the Agents of SHIELD fandom were appreciative of the canon Daisy and Ward dynamic in the same way I am. Like. I think a lot (or even most, really) of folks are in the "Get a job stay away from her" camp. Meanwhile I fully think the writers should've locked those two in a room together until it got real awful. I wanted to see her beat him to death. It would've been awesome.
