Hi everyone! This is an illustrated guide I made as part of my co-admining work at The Middle Eastern Feminist on Facebook! It will be published there shortly.  The technique that is displayed here is a genuine one used in psychology - I forgot the name and couldn’t find it again so if you know about it, feel free to tell me! Some could say: “Yes but you can use that technique for instances of harassment other than Islamophobic attacks!”, and my reply is: Sure! Please do so, it also works for other “types” of harassment of a lone person in a public space!! However I’m focusing on protecting Muslims here, as they have been very specific targets lately, and as a French Middle Eastern woman, I wanted to try and do something to raise awareness on how to help when such things happen before our eyes - that way one cannot say they “didn’t know what to do”!  I’d like to insist on two things: 1) Do not, in any way, interact with the attacker. You must absolutely ignore them and focus entirely on the person being attacked! 2) Please make sure to always respect the wishes of the person you’re helping: whether they want you to leave quickly afterwards, or not! If you’re in a hurry escort them to a place where someone else can take over - call one of their friends, or one of yours, of if they want to, the police. It all depends on how they feel! For my fellow French-speakers: I will translate it in French and post it on my page as soon as I can :) Please don’t hesitate to share this guide as it could push a lot of people to overcome bystander syndrome!! Imagine if they get stuck in a mirror (not the dorm mirrors, some other mini pocket dimension. Maybe like a bathroom), and to the Weirdcore guys getting out of a mirror is like unlocking a stall for a public bathroom and stepping out, but Yuu can't figure out how to unlock it so Ace and Deuce have to call Crowley or someone to get them out

Weirdcore Malleus Edit

Weirdcore AU Masterlist Here!

Tada! It's Malleus! I had tons of help from @lumabeansta - who came up with most of the ideas for this particular edit!

If you look closely enough, you can see that the scaled wings that Malleus has here are made from edited bat wings! I realised that bat wings were the closest to reptilian-looking/dragon wings that I could find - and I think it's kinda funny that I took an image of a bat's wings to make the wings here.

I was only able to add one eye to the tail without it looking weird in a it-doesn't-work way instead of a kinda-cool-kinda-creepy way, so I put a bunch of eyes on his wings instead! I also added some horns with flame details, and a transparent lantern head so that it looks even cooler!

I couldn't really figure out how to get the thorns to work and look good though (⁠｡⁠•́⁠︿⁠•̀⁠｡⁠) 'twas a bit too tricky for lil ol' me - I may take a crack at adding some at a later date though! I hope you like this edit!

There's an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.

A "playable state" would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.

I don't think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.

Any EU citizen is eligible to sign the initiative, but only once and if you mess up that's it. You can find it here. (https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2024/000007_en)

Even if you're not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don't care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.
