Concept: a video game set in a mist-shrouded small town next to a poorly maintained highway in the middle of a deep, dark forest, abandoned mine just down the road, the whole nine yards, with a robust creature creator that lets you develop your own bespoke cryptid… and that’s it. It’s basically a cryptid walking simulator – there are no specific goals. You can terrorise the townsfolk a bit if you want, but mostly you just lurk. There’s a social mode where you can set up a server and invite a bunch of your friends to your town to be cryptids and lurk together.

how you program your mind when you’re at a low point is so impactful. resorting back to toxic patterns when you’re low is only strengthening those neural pathways and programming your mind to make those unhealthy choices or think those unhealthy thoughts every time you’re not feeling well. alternatively, trying your hardest to cope in a healthier way every time you’re feeling bad will strengthen those positive neural pathways, and as time goes on, it will become easier to make healthy choices and say no to toxic patterns. this of course isn’t to say that you should feel guilty if you relapse, it is not by any means easy to reprogram your brain and sometimes we relapse and that’s okay, so long as we’re trying our best to treat ourselves better.
People are gonna get tired of constantly reaching out to you, and you not reciprocating. If you haven’t, call the person who always checks on you. Ask them how they are doing. Begin to appreciate the people who care about you. Acknowledge selfish behavior and strive to correct it.
