They're just fun hhhhhhh something about that creeping physical pain and the dread of knowing that you could alleviate that pain, but only by potentially hurting yourself and someone else emotionally T-T it's the pain of loving someone so much that you refuse to care for yourself in the interest of protecting them from your own desires....or something poetic like that lmao. anyway I love that in this one it's just that Max is awful at communicating jfkdlghslk;jfdskfhs
