Bring back treating interns like a valuable asset. If you're going to spend the time vetting them might as well actually invest in them and get a skilled/trained employee out of the deal. Both sides literally profit when interns aren't treated like shit

ok so there’s a game me and my friends play called “don’t get me started” and basically someone gives another person a random topic and they have to go on an angry rant about it and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us at parties and car rides so I highly recommend playing sometimes with your friends

Libraries gave me a place to go as a latch-key kid. Where I could read and hangout with school friends, there were library events and over the summer some of my first volunteer experience was at the library. I wouldn't have read the books and met the people who made me who I am now without the library.
