Even though I firmly believe that even platonic adeuceyuu / adeuce x reader would share one bed (with Grim of course), I just love the idea that they would have a three person bunk bed:

Of course, they would usually just share one bunk but whenever they need space, there would always be a way for them to still be close to each other yet have their personal bubble.

I can see them having a whole pulley system (a sparkly pink bucket tied to a rope) for them to transfer objects from one bunk to another.

BONUS: Imagine if fem!Yuu/reader starts dating and she brings her boyfriend over to Ramshackle to cuddle (and they're either on the one bunk on the floor with two above them or they're on the one above bunk with two underneath them) and they're just there snuggling together and then Ace just starts eating from a packet of crisps on his bunk, loudly munching as he asks when the two of you are going to be done so that they finish watching a movie and Deuce just scream whispers at him to shut up .

Something I love about M!iK and don't really see be often talked about is the morals of the story.

Shonen stories usually have to work under the same story restrictions of "power of friendship" and "we can accomplish anything by never giving up!", and while MIK certainly has that, I adore the way they twist it.

Yes, both tropes are present but taken to their absolute extreme. Power of friendship? Ok, here's a huge cast of characters who are all in some level Extremely Possesive of eachother. Never give up on your dreams? Alright, the cast are literal demons who feed on desire.

And the best part is that this is openly encouraged by the story. The story is saying "Yes, be selfish! Chase what or who you want without any shame! Take what you love and guard it ferociously because it's YOURS and no one is allowed to harm it."

Iruma's character growth is not connected to "how much more powerful can he get?" Or "how much better of a person can he be?". He's already powerful and he's already a deeply good kid. His growth is explicitly about how much more demonic he can be.

How much more tightly can he hold onto his loved ones and his desires.

How much more selfish.

Just how refresing is it to read a story where gluttony is a virtue and a goal?

Please Asagiri, give me a light novel in an alternative universe where Ranpo was recruited either by the Port Mafia or the Decay of Angels instead of the ADA and where we get to see how everything would have been changed if he was on the other side of the battle.

Fanfiction writers this is also a cry for help I'm begging you !!!

Also, another universe where Ranpo, Poe and Mushitaro are criminals (The Perfect Crime Trio) and the Agency tries to arrest them, this would be so FUN.

I don’t think people quite understand how miserable misophonia is.

It’s the nausea that comes with sounds that you know people can’t help but make. It’s the coughing that puts your teeth on edge, the crinkling of paper that makes you furious. It’s the too-loud TV that makes you want to scream and the voices with hissing ‘s’ sounds that make you want to vomit. It’s the chewing and heavy breathing and scratching of cutlery that destroys your appetite. It’s the constantly creaking floorboards that awaken a panicked rage in you when you’re just trying to breathe.

It’s the overstimulation when your headphones are too loud but not loud enough as the usually predictable songs grate against your brain.

It’s the inability to get comfortable in your usual safe space.

It’s the tears of frustration and headaches that form because no one gets it. You can’t talk about it because it’s unreasonable. You can’t ask someone to stop because they get defensive/see no issue.

It’s miserable.

Maybe this is something your whumpee experiences from so much time spent alone/in isolation. Maybe they inadvertently isolate themselves further, as they can’t stand to be around the people they love through no fault of their own (taking their meals to their room etc).
