Excuse me but a big swiftie IG user(evermoreontour), who seems to have inside info a lot of the time (I’ve been following them for several months) posted the f-ing pic KK posted for her birthday I 2016, the ft call pic, and wrote “I can see the end as it begins, my one condition is, say you’ll remember me”
ok - so the basically theory is that the entire album is about tay’s inability to grow up because she is forced in the closet, a motif that we saw in The Archer with the line “I never grew up, it’s getting so old”, but that we see recurring in folklore - in the way that most songs are reliving youth or mourning loss.
On the album cover we have taylor standing amongst the trees, dwarfed by them, looking up at them - as if they have had the opportunity to grow up to the sky, but she is still on the ground, much smaller:
We also have several kid songs, like seven and then obviously the teenage trio in Betty, cardigan, and august - but these characters show up over and over throughout the album, just not as teenagers.
Illicit Affairs seems to be about the August woman (”meetings in parking lots”/”meet me behind the mall”), James seems to be the narrator in this is me trying (”if I showed up at your party”/”I’m here in your doorway” and “the rust on your door I never needed anything more”/”had the shiniest wheels now they’re rusting”), and betty’s cardigan shows up in invisible string (”wool to brave the seasons”).
The love triangle story is told over and over again from different points of view during different periods of life. This mirrors what Taylor has had to deal with in her relationships, as everything feels like a love triangle when she and her lover are also juggling beards. So instead of growing out of this messy, love triangle phase Taylor is trapped in it.
There are also a TON of references to her old music in this album (I will post a list eventually but dang it is going to be so long), as she rehashes the past and examines this pattern.
Friendly reminder to not punish yourself for creating.
This November 13th has truly been a celebration.

So I know that people are reading into Karlie's seat because it's Karlie. But didn't other celeb guests sit in the bleachers? I feel like Sadie Sink was in a similar seat as Karlie, but maybe that's incorrect?
i love when taylor writes about kissing a girl named betty in her garden and on her porch in front of her stupid friends and when she writes about having an illicit affair with a woman who leaves her perfume she bought for her husband at home so her scent doesn’t fill up taylor’s place when she visits and when she writes about being seven and loving the braids in a girls hair and promising to move away with her so neither of you ever have to live in the closet anymore and when she writes about wearing betty’s cardigan while betty dances in her levi’s drunk under the streetlights and when taylor writes about girls-
Pay attention tonight. You won't regret.

Tea Time! We *might* be getting Blank Space (Taylor's Version) on April 16th. Here's what I know for sure: On May 11th, we're getting a single. 1989 (Taylor's Version) is coming out on May 14th. Because 1989 came out in 2014 and was her 5th studio album. The same way 4/9 was chosen because, with Fearless (Taylor's Version), she now owns 4/9 of her albums. We're getting Speak Now (Taylor's Version) on July 9th. I do not know what's happening in June. Good job on the Coney ISLAnd tea, btw!
