Forgive me if this has already been discussed but... have we considered that the “facade” could be Jerklie’s relationship?

Rumors started (deliberately) swirling in the press in November 2012 that KK and JK were dating.

Four years later, KK implied she met JK in June 2012. So we are supposed to gather their “relationship” started sometime between June and November 2012.

Was Spade trying to tell us Jerklie’s contract ends in 2022? And that’s why Taylor dropped some random references to ‘22’? (There is some debate about how long a decade actually is but at least one definition fits with this timeline).

There’s this from an Entertainment Weekly video in the Lover era (5/9/19). Right before she does this she is talking about the palm trees she posted on IG when she finished Lover. She says “A palm try symbolizes rebirth, new beginnings, positive energy. So...” *precedes to sort of randomly/awkwardly throw two “peace” signs up before the video cuts to the next topic.

Taylor later referenced ‘22’ with freaking lavender icing in her hair (4/27/20).

Now I bet there have been a million pivots behind the scenes so even if this was what Spade was trying to convey, it may not mean anything now. And the implications of KK potentially signing on two a two year contract ending in the midst of a potential second Trump term are complicated.

All I really know is that Taylor will be releasing her version of Red on 11/19/21. And she made sure to remind us the album resembles a heartbroken person before referencing a friend who calls in the middle of the night to talk about their ex..

and then on the following night of October 13th taylor is papped also at the bowery ballroom with karlie kloss and serena williams (and the maker of her sweater is “Elizabeth & James”??)

and upon further inspection now we all see that taylor is wearing the golden neck tattoo that you can also peep her sporting in the “making of” delicate video...

meaning that

taylor got to the point in writing delicate that she deemed good to go ahead and film herself... quite possibly the day after the first documented date that she had with beau de jour...?

with lyrics like these..???

Assuming I am right that they have a daughter, what if her name is Rose 🌹 or Isla Rose?

The rose 🌹 dresses they both wore recently got me thinking. They were quite loud. So I googled “Isla Rose” and lo and behold there is an Isla Rose flower. Isla Rose is also a popular baby name.

I have not seen any rationale for the Rose 🌹 dresses, so is this perhaps it?

Rethinking ♠️’s Final Messages

I’ve been thinking about Spade’s final messages recently, building upon some thoughts that came to me earlier this year.

Ultimately, I think Spade’s last few riddles were trying to tell us that Taylor won’t make major moves (maybe toward coming out) until after she releases all of her re-recorded albums.

As a refresher, these are the last riddles Spade sent:

I think the 🖤 represents the reputation re-record. It fits with the style of the album and was included before the rest of the text in both the 5/31/20 and 6/21/20 riddles. (It may be nothing but note that 5+3+1+2=11 and 6+2+1+2=11. Taylor can re-record rep in November 2022). The riddles are telling us “THEY ARE FREE” only after the rep re-record.

Until very recently, I always viewed the next riddle (“Love does not grow…) in isolation (maybe related to BLM protests that were widespread at the time or solely an Easter egg for Coney Island lyrics). But now I think this riddle is actually clarifying the “THEY ARE FREE” riddles. Closed fists also throw punches. Taylor is fighting back with her re-records and she can’t “bloom” until that’s done. Spade wanted us to know.

The timing of the “THEY ARE FREE” and “Love does not grow…” riddles also aligns with the “Why worry, she blooms in June.” riddle sent on 6/25/2019 —they were both sent almost exactly a year later at the end of Pride Month.

I’m assuming the girls had determined a rough outline of T+K’s plans by the time Spade’s final riddles were sent. Spade knew the road would be long and Kaylors would get upset/angry along the way. Plus, Spade must have known there would be a baby in the mix that would be too sensitive to discuss but hard to ignore. So, they chose to say goodbye. There have likely been pivots behind the scenes but if I’m right then Spade wasn’t simply misleading us at the end (even if it still feels that way). We assumed ‘they were free’ when the riddles were sent but Spade was letting us know it would be a long road.
