ONE line. This one line has me clawing at the walls because Peeta managed to follow her all the way. He was with her the whole time, to the point that he was just as injured in the bombs' blast as she was.

I know Katniss is an unreliable narrator BUT I NEED a little more appreciation for our love-drunk-even-when-hijacked idiot Mellark.

Ppl rlly be complaining about the decision to cast Tom Blyth as Coriolanus Snow, saying that he's "too hot" to dislike him when that's exactly the whole point of the saga — to make you forget about the cruelty of everything and focus only on the "pretty side". Ekko's got to be some ultimate form of wish fulfilment. He could be in love with anyone! And he falls for his less then stable, childhood best friend, turned enemy, come terrorist, ender of multiple friends, bringer of shimmer, nightmare of a mobster's daughter instead! You just knoooow all the girlies who think they're unlovable, too much trouble are frothing at the mouth over him.

People need to understand that Zutara isn't about Zuko being the hot and sexy dream guy that makes Katara swoon. It's about their complimentary Tired Parent™️ energy and the fact that Zuko is—at all times—slightly terrified of Katara in the most smitten way possible.

I don’t think it’s that Haymitch loves Peeta more: it’s that Peeta is dissimilar enough to Haymitch that he’s easier to love.

Haymitch sees too much of himself in Katniss for her to be easy for him to love. Loving her might mean he is worthy of love and he has two decades of alcohol, guilt, and self loathing telling him otherwise.

Despite that, Haymitch loves Katniss anyways

as brilliant as it is that this seems to be one of lucy gray's songs that was lost to time, how much do you think snow would have lost his shit if katniss had sung "pure as the driven snow" to peeta in one of the arenas
