kinda really hate how the sk8 fandom softens reki down to ‘hyperactive pure sunshine boy who needs langa to protect him’ when he was ready to throw down (and possibly hands) with kazu, shadow and miya , came out a fight with three dudes without even a nosebleed, got bit by a car the same fuckin day and was up and skating within the space of a few hours, and got punched in the face and side at numerous times by adam, as well as thrown off his board and high speed and dragged against rocks, during their beef and still held on to him and almost beat him speed wise,, like im not saying its the homophobia and the desire for there to always be a ‘damsel’ in relationship but what im saying is reki is tougher than anyone gives him credit for and is like 10 times more likely to get into a fist fight than langa 

Just imagine that Ricky, after spending spring break with his mother, decides to move in with her at the end of the school year so that he can be in a quiet place and go to therapy. And then the season ends with Ricky singing Gotta Go My Own Way as we watch the other couples having fun and Nini being independent.

A little video I made regarding the headcanon of Raj being the NoCo son.

I love love the idea of Ricky being crafty, I mean, he made a centerpiece with flowers and a fucking molcajete! As a Mexican I can say that this is the type of centerpiece that I would fight against my aunts to take home. I think Ricky just takes a bunch of random things and just creates fun decorations when he's bored.

It was such a good centerpiece!! I'm a little sad we didn't get to see the rest of the theater group being impressed with it. Because you know they showed up, and someone was like "wow Nini, yours looks great! Ricky... you tried..." and Nini goes "actually... Ricky made that one" and the group is like 😮 because who saw that coming!

And also, Ricky has the "can't sit still" energy that leads me to believes he's totally the type who has learned how to do crafty things just to stay busy when he's trying to chill. Like he learns how to make braided friendship bracelets and makes them when he watches TV. He's made a lot of Popsicle stick art and makes his mom gifts for mothers day/her birthday/Christmas. He totally learns how to knit after visiting his mom. He's got a little corner of the house that is just dedicated to his crafting stuff. Before the move, everyone who visited assumed it was Lynne's. But now that it's in the apartment... It's clearly Ricky's. He makes a lot of fake flowers because he knows he and his dad would kill real flowers but they brighten the space up! And every decoration he makes, Mike hangs.

Stanley: I hate you with every inch of my body.

Jacob: Those are not many inches.
